When we're seated we over heard the table across from us talking to the manager about the service and how it was great. So we order buffalo wings honey bbq wings a salad and fries. Waiting list for a table was an hour. Got there at 4:45pm. After ordering we didn't get our appetizer until after sitting for an hour. Waiting on our food an additional hour. At which time we were completely over the experience and ready to go. They only had 2 waiters for the entire place. Had a catering order for big mouth bites picked up by a friend for my birthday this past Saturday and when she arrived to my party she was SEETHING! She is a sweet quiet girl and to make her as angry as she was it had to be a problem. She said the hostess and servers were extremely rude, to the point she thought it was a bad joke. They clearly didn't have my order ready and it showed in their behavior and her long wait. When the burgers arrived they were the most pitiful thing I had ever seen. They didn't even separate the bread. All the bread was still connected and the burgers were hard, black and burnt. Some of the meat didnt even fill a bun and some buns were even empty with no meat in them. Most were trashed by end of the night. They offered my friend $25 for an order over $100! Never again will I go into or order from this particular restaurant. It's a shame when you have to travel out of your neighborhood to get the respect and customer service you deserve. read more

Me and my family came to this Chili's for a lunch date and we had to wait 30 minutes to be seat which wasn't a problem I know due to Covid most tables aren't available. Also got Texas cold fries for appetizer as well. For entrees, I order Cajun chicken pasta and my friend bacon and cheese quesadillas. Pasta was OVERRRRRCOOKED but edible smh. And the quesadillas had more cheese than bacon. Just horrible. For dessert, we received a HARD AS A ROCK COOKIE SKILLET. We didn't even eat it. After eating, she asked us "how was everything" I replied BOGUS EVERYTHING WAS BOGUS. I just don't understand as a waiter/ress, I wouldn't serve my ppl that sht. I'm so upset cause I love chilies but I will never go to this one again in Calumet city terrible my food was so extra salty then I ordered a drink that came with my food it was nasty so the manager came over and I explained to her about my food and take the drink off, first off she was very rude and irrate and told me she can't take the drink off if nothing was wrong with other it "it was nasty" that's what was wrong with it. Seated promptly however my drink came out wrong and then when she returned with my ordered drink she had it wrapped in her arm. The sugar on the rim rubbed on her shirt. She never asked the entire stay if we were OK or needed something. The young lady who brought our food out gave us our silverware. My appetizers came out with the entre. Also my son's lemonade was given with no straw. I normally like coming here however this was one of the worst experiences I've had while eating here. My server was Brittany. Only learned her name when the other table was asked by a manager, "who served you" and they described her and that's when he responded with her name. No one in their right mind can even expect to be tipped for for what is referred to as "service" at this restaurant. Our appetizers were long gone In the 45 minutes we waited for a beer! Our order was wrong but that was corrected pretty smoothly. No one comes back to check how the food is so make sure everything is correct when they drop it off. No one comes to offer refills so ration your drink or just order 2 from the start. It's a good thing that you can review your charges and check out at the table because who knows how long it would have taken to get our bill. I called and placed an order for pick up. I asked if I could pay with my card and what their procedure is for pick up. I was told to stay in my car and they would contact me when my food was ready in 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes & called back. I was told I needed to enter the To Go door to pay for and pick up my food. There were people near the door and in the parking lot looking as confused as I was. I entered, paid and was told to get my food from the table. There were 4 orders just sitting there getting cold. The food was slightly warmed and not what you would expect from Chili's nor for the price. I gave an 18% tip but I won't go back. Why are you having people walk in or gathered together near the door? Why are you allowing customers to grab their food off a table with zero supervision? I am a salmon lover. And my experience this evening was not the greatest. I always explain to my servers that I prefer my salmon medium well done. I don't like my salmon dry or over cooked. Well of course the fort one I received was really dry. The server then told me that the manger was preparing me another another one. I thought it was better because it wasn't dry. Today was my first time coming to this location and a customer tried to fight me. All of the staff stood around and walked around like nothing was going on. The woman walked over to my table and all. The general manager who's name is Gerald Harper Jr. asked us if either party wanted to move seats and no one wanted to move of course. The situation was handled poorly. She should have been escorted out for trying to engage in a physical altercation with me or told that she had to move. The manager did not do his job overall and did not listen to my side of the situation seeing as though I am a young person.
