Food was terrible. Everything was over salted. Ordered Rib eye medium rare. Got a fatty over cook grisly piece of meat that was as thick as a Denny's pancake. Over salted also. A common trick to pass on poor quality and older foods is to salt it up. The amount t of salt added to the food caused me to take a huge drink of water with every bite. The server was great with keeping my water glass filled up so thumbs up to the server. Even the macaroni and cheese which look good in the picture, but it was overrated so much I couldn't eat it either. So I tried to each the broccoli. It wasn't even cooked. It was warm and lacked the signature green luster of a cooked vegetable. I was raised to clean you plate no matter what because there were starving Ethiopians. I tried but I couldn't finish a single item of food other then my glass of water. I find same or better quality/quantity at fast food for much less money. We ordered 2 watermelon lemonade and instead they came as watermelon tea. Since it was a to-go order, we didn't know until we got home. The chicken crispers were very small, slightly longer than my thumb. The chicken for one of the 2 orders was not only small, but overcooked. The amount of fries given was very small as well as mostly being the small bits you'd find at the bottom of a bag. We're on vacation and my family wanted chilis. Service was nice. Not attentive at all. 3 out of 9 of our dinners came out wrong. Our waters sat empty for the whole dinner after asking several times. We were forgotten about pretty much. Our food came out after 2 other large parties that were sat after us. Our dessert took at least 20 minutes, I eventually stacked our dishes and put them on the other dirty table next to us. So we had room for our dessert on our table. Been to this Chilis a couple of times & sat in the bar area. With that being said the the food was good but the service was meeeh. The waitress & the lady who helped her felt standoffish. Our waitress just kept forgetting things we were ordering and when we mentioned it to her she would kind of just brush us off and walk around and attend to others. Same with the girl who was helping her bring the food out. They would both walk past us again & again forgetting that they had said she would bring us the thing they had forgotten. This has just become the best restaurant in South Carson City. Above average food at a reasonable price. What sets this eatery above all others is the incredible service. Recently a change was made that all restaurants should take note of. You no longer have just 1 person waiting on you...we had 4. All staff have headsets, making it possible for any person to call back to the kitchen to bring you what you need. Doesn't matter if it's your original waitress or not. Anybody will help you. I can't think of how many times I've sat and waited for another drink or a condiment or what have you from the kitchen and it never came. Mostly because somebody forgot from the time I requested it to the time they got back to the kitchen. The staff is incredibly courteous and polite. This is as close to the perfect team situation as I've encountered since moving to North Nevada. We are now on a first name basis with most of the servers and Manager Ron. I feel there's a lot to be said for an establishment with a low turnover rate. Before you read anything into it, the reason we met Ron is he came out and introduced himself and asked how our meal was. That's pretty awesome! read more

Tonight my family and I came into Chilis for Dinner. They had a little bit of a wait but it was expected on a Saturday night. Our Server was amazing! We ordered and got our Appetizer quickly. We got Fried Pickles which are so good! My husband ordered the Ultimate Smokehouse combos with Ribs, Sausage, and chicken breast with Bacon and he got full off of that which doesnt happen often when we go out to dinner. I got the Bacon Ranch Quesadilla as a 3 for $10 special which my husband got a Presidents Margarita for $5 because of my meal. The kids all got the children's pizza and they all ate every last bit! We had such a great dinner thanks to our server and the staff here. We will be coming back for sure! I've been coming here for years! Was excited that they were doing curbside during Covid. My recommendation - don't bother. I know these are difficult times and many businesses are trying their best to adapt. But Chili's has an established take out program. This is not a new game for them. We parked behind the building just around the corner from the designated takeout parking because we had a motorhome and didn't want to take up 2 spaces there. We thought it would be fun to drive the motorhome there and feel like we were eating at a restaurant. Ordered online and then followed up with a call to tell them where we were parked. 40 min.later I went to the door and asked about the order. They said they couldn't find us? Really??? I talked to the same girl I gave directions to on the phone. Food was cold, burgers ordered rare were well done and bread was soggy; salad looked really sad. Manager response? We were busy. On 1/19/2019, my wife, pregnant daughter, granddaughter and myself was going to the movies and had stopped by Chilis for a snack. Order a triple dipper. The triple dipper came burnt and we ask for it to be remade. The hostess was really embarrassed and could see that the triple dipper was indeed burnt. In the time it took to get it re-made, we had to take it to go. Later on that evening, we all ate some of the chicken strips. When I bit down on a piece of chicken, I thought I was biting on a crispy beer batter. It turned out to be shavings of metal. My mouth was sliced open and I had to pull a piece of metal from my bottom lip. Upon seeing this I put everything that I had not eaten back into the to go box. I called up chilies and found out Nicholas was going to be on, and so my wife and I met with Nicholas at Chili's. Nicholas sat down with my wife and I and explained to us about how this incident could happen, he made references to a cutting machine with a razor blades that cut up the chicken at the factory. He at no time did Nied that this could happen. He ask for photographs of the metal in the chicken and photographs of my mouth and lip, which I did send to him. He said that chilies would do an investigation and pull the chicken from the shelf. The following day, I had somebody go in and order the chicken and it was never taken off their shelves or even stopped for a period of time. I never received a phone call from corporate, but I did send Nicholas a note about what was going to happen and he said that he did not hear from corporate yet. Today is February 11, 2019, still no word and I know that I ingested metal that Nicholas said I probably would but if I don't have a problem in 24 hours I probably wouldn't not have any issues. I am attaching some pictures of the metal the chicken and my mouth.If you patronize this place Follow up on 10/2019. Have not been back since incident. Kitchen was filthy and had to wait for 1/2 hour. Took forever to take order, and to get food. No refills of beverage and the Chips and salsa that was ordered came at the end of the meal. Our waiter had two tables and was more concerned about, who knows what but not his customers. The whole experience was negative except for Shawn. He did his very best to try and make the customers happy. He was trying to be on top of the whole restaurant doing his job and helping everybody when asked to do anything he was on top of it. Ask for ranch, or chips and so on. He was not our waiter nor do not believe he was a waiter but try to pick up where everybody else was not doing their jobs. This management needs to recognize Shawn and also the people that don't do their jobs. Management, if your customers quit going you're out of your job. Get a clue management and do your job. The last few times I've been in there the service is below poor and When i was injured, with management there seen the injuries, With corporate sitting back doing nothing. Over all, it was ok but none of the food blew us out of our minds. My hubby got the shrimp tacos and it was cooked well but nothing more than you would get and a fast food place. So I have come to Chili's many time with my kids and it has never been anything but ok food. But last night I had the most amazing burger. It was the brisket burger and it was better than the same burger from Reds I had last month. The burger itself was medium well and it stuck out past the bun. It tasted fresh and flavorful. So I thought the cook deserved a shout out. Also I always enjoy the chips! And they handled being very busy really well, the bartender/ server was really nice and didn't seem stressed out or irritated as most servers do these days. Went to Chili's with my fiancé and a friend this past Friday evening, and man was it disappointing. Firstly, the only thing good about the evening was our server Zack. He was very friendly and attentive, quick to refill drinks and check on us which was much appreciated. Unfortunately for us, it was the kitchen and food that ruined our experience. My friend ordered the 3/$10 deal with Baked Potato Soup and a Bacon Burger. While my fiancé and I both ordered fried pickles to share and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich meal. Sadly, our appetizers were forgotten about and our meals came out first. When we inquired about our appetizers, the woman running food looked confused and said she'd check on it. A few minutes later, apps came out. Considering it wasn't very busy- I was surprised this happened. This is a simple issue of poor kitchen management. They fired the food before appetizers were started or finished cooking. There was no reason that something as quick as burgers and fried chicken sandwiches should've been dropped before appetizers were finished. That's just a combination of issues- poor expediting, not reading the ticket, and time management. Sadly, the fried pickles were soggy, undercooked, and super greasy. It was clear they were dumped straight from the fry basket into the container. The puddle of oil at the bottom of the dish confirmed this. I mean really... how are you gonna mess up something that goes from freezer to fryer to plate all in about 5-7 minutes? As for our buffalo chicken sandwiches, they weren't much better. The chicken was massive compared to the bun- made a ridiculous portion size and difficult to eat. The buffalo sauce was sparse and not spicy at all. Fries were average, but nothing special. Overall, the food was underwhelming and definitely not worth it. I think we would've had better food at In and Out across the street. I haven't been to a Chili's in years after a bad experience at a different location, so I was looking forward to giving it a try. It was a late last minute decision to go to a Chili's and it was a great decision. My friend and I sat at the Bar to get a quick service, which happened and the bartender was on top of everything. Your can never go wrong with Chili's, right? Conveniently located in a large shopping center with a large parking lot (a must since we were pulling our 5th wheel) is Chili's. We went for lunch as we were passing through town and immediately seated and our beverage order was taken. After driving throughout the morning and nearing our destination, I needed a cold, refreshing beer with my meal. Our server brought it with the drink order which normally comes after the sodas and waters are served so that was a nice touch. We placed our order with one deviation from the standard way and when our order was delivered, it was accurate and warm. My chicken crispers were just as they are at every other Chili's which is one of the reasons we like the chain is their consistency. Our server was friendly and attentive. Granted it was not busy, but there are so many times the restaurants are slow, servers tend to socialize with the other or disappear. We enjoyed our visit and will return when we pass through Carson City again. read more

Haven't been to chili's in years. I've only ever ordered burgers and its pretty hard to drive past in n out, which is next door, to go to chili's. We went at the suggestion of a family member we were with. The mozzarella sticks or squares or whatever they call them were great. Actually really good. The queso was ehh. My burger was cooked fine, but had so much Mayo slathered on it that it was uneatable. Our waiter did a pretty good job. Mostly attentive. Had to wait for refills. The place seemed mostly clean and not unappealing. I'm going with a 4 because everyone seemed to enjoy there food. It was just the slab of Mayo that ruined my burger. read more

Atmosphere - What you expect from a Chili's. Food Appetizer - none order. Main Course - I had the three crispy chicken tacos. The chicken could have been cut into smaller pieces, way too big for being in a taco. The flour tortillas cracked open on the bottom almost immediately. So once you had it in your hand there was no putting it down. The tortillas that game with the fajitas were fine. The chicken and the topping were good but ripping of the taco tells me they are using product that is too old. Dessert - Had the Oreo molten dessert, I glad the three of us shared it. It was very good and probably could have eaten the whole thing without thinking about it. Service - I don't know how many visits we had from our waitress before we decided what we wanted.
