Last night I went to this Chili's and encountered the worst experience with the waitress and manager. Neither of these people understand their roles and both are very unprofessional. It was obvious poor management is why the waitress behaved the way she did. The waitress insisted that I did not order corn which I did. She told me you didn't say that twice. It took everything in me not to... it's a king story, that was just one example of her rude behavior throughout the night. I told the manager that I would not pay for the meal bc the order was wrong and her waitress ruined my experience...she was trying to take items off bc dodo waitress rang our order up wrong-I said that's not my problem take this meal off and she said but you're eating-I was like didn't I come here to eat. Go to another chilis. The waitress was working the bar area and the manager on duty need yo be fired. I'm ghoing to call the general manager. read more

My son invited me 2 yrs ago and a couple months ago I invited my son the 3 for $10 . Ribs juicy and very tender, loaded mashed potato very creamy, and chili bowl hit the spot. We ordered triple fajita it was delicious. Blackberry lemonade is good. I brought my daughter and tried the steak very tender and juicy. Chicken pasta is very delicios. From now on I will double check our food . Our second time there for pickup chicken was missing in the order now this time rice was put if it was given as a left over . Came for the football playoff game alone by the way and the bartender Bash really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She made sure she made the drink I described best suits me and made sure she served the other patrons by herself. A masterful bartender and person that deserves recognition. This place is a joke. I usually call upfront, when I'm like 5 minutes away, to check how long is the waiting list, and they always say no wait. Upon getting there, like today... the line is huge, and it's at least a 30 min wait. Today I actually asked to speak with the manager (Chris), who didn't do anything about it, even after confirming that the 8 parties before me, arrived in the last 10 minutes (I called 5 min before getting there). He asked for 15 minutes to be seat, but the text message said 45 minutes. Why do you have a manager that continuous giving false information? hahahahaa I must say also, that even after you seat down, they usually take forever to come to your table. Popped in here after a trip to the mall. That was a mistake. Walked in and the hostess stand is empty because the hostess is parked in one of the booths to the right, talking on her phone. To her credit, she jumped up and greeted us after a few seconds but it was the first time the lack of professionalism or management/leadership was evident. We were seated at a booth. Good thing my wife and I like to sit next to each other because the cushions on one side of the booth were so broken down you could see the wood frame under the vinyl. That isn't to say that the other side of the booth was much better - my ass was hitting springs the whole time. Waitress greets us and was very nice. We put in an order of wings from the appetizer menu along with our drink order. As we wait for the wings and drinks to arrive I start looking around and I'm seeing trash on the floor...plastic knives, straw covers, napkins, all sorts of crap. Then I look over to the condiments on the table were I see this bottle of A1 that is covered with dried up sauce. Oh boy. Looked over at the front door and spent a few minutes marvelling at how this place got an A rating. The sign must have been a fake cause this place is gross. After about 10 minutes the waitress comes back to take out food order and tells us the wings are coming right out (spoiler alert : they didn't). After another 10 minutes or so, the food arrives. My wife asked for ranch on her salad...not only did the salad not have ranch, it had no dressing at all and that fact didn't seem to phase the runner from bringing it to us anyways. So we had to ask for ranch. Then my wife cuts into a purple steak which was supposed to be medium rare. We send that back too. My food wasn't terrible besides the fact that my side of beans looked like watery bean soup. Steak comes back and we still don't have the wings we ordered as an appetizer. I call the waitress over and tell her the wings never showed up, the steak was raw, the salad had no dressing and ask her what is wrong with the kitchen that they are screwing so many things up. Out of all of the things I experienced at Chili's, her response was the most surprising. No apology, no let me take something off your bill, nothing but he telling me that this shift was really hard for the kitchen. Wtf? What an incredibly inappropriate response. If I wanted subpar food and excuses that make no sense, I would have saved some money and had one of my kids cook dinner for us. Wings eventually came and they tasted like crap. Could have been freezer burn or they were old, or she told the kitchen what I said and they did something to them that I don't even want to think about. Stay away. Clearly Chilis doesn't care about the performance of this store or about any of these terrible reviews on Yelp, which seem to have some common themes. read more

The Chili's in Carson near the Carson Mall, where my husband & I ate was clean. They were obviously short-staffed. But, the personnel were not just standing around. They were going back and forth to the customers to check on them. Now, the food: My husband had the Little Bites and he said they were salty. I had asparaghus and they were extremely salty. My first time at this location and I walked in and there are flies inside the windows. Eww. Then they sat us down and as I looked around the place in general is not clean even the bathrooms. It's so gross as you eat and there are knats/bugs flying around you and oh the air conditioning was pumped up all the way. It was freezing a few people left because it was freezing inside. The food wasn't bad but the side salad I ordered was gross, lettuce was old. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced. My family and I went last night for dinner. It was my dads birthday we were a table of 9. We waited 1 hour and 28 minutes for a table. When we walked in their were dirty tables not being occupied. That wasn't the worst part. The worst was the waiter. He was horrible. Everyone we asked for something he seemed annoyed. He never once came to ask if we needed a refill or anything. We asked for a extra plate, he forgot we never got it. We asked for a margarita, we never got it. I will never return to Chili's Carson. There is "NO" customer service. We're not greeted. On a Wednesday The resturant was empty, we were told it would be a 10 min wait? 15 minutes layer we sat in the Bar. It was empty too, No one said welcome, or I'll be right with you, and they never showed up? To be fair, this is not the first time we were ignored, this was our third visit to this Chili's. I should have known better. The entire staff is sleepwalking. Took 20min to get waters on a Monday with very few people in the restaurant. We only got chicken fingers some wings, and my kid wanted a small salad. All food came out cold, and took 30-40 min. Salad made my child sick the next day, which is today. I feel terrible because i took my family for a really quick meal there and now my 3 year old child is on the toilet constantly and is at home from daycare. Terrible service, terrible food[we all ate 3 bites and walked out]. Please avoid this place, don't support it, the reviews speak for themselves.
