We stopped by Chili's in Cedar Hill for lunch during the week. It was not busy when we arrived. There was no hostess to be found. An employee who happened to be off duty was sitting there eating and told us to sit wherever as my husband was in crutches and didn't want to stand for too long. Once we sat down the hostess shows up. Our drink order was taken and later our food order. While we were sitting there several other sets of people came in. They waited for a long time and there was no hostess up front. Eventually the lady who works the bar came out from to assist the customers. She sat down everyone who had come in and who were coming in. The place was NOT busy or full so I am not too sure if there should've been a hostess or if it was the place of the lady at the bar to leave her station and greet and sit the customers. Our food finally came. I have to say the meal was very good. Kudos to the kitchen staff. Great job. My husband did have to ask for drink refill. I am not sure if we will frequent this specific Chili's again. We may order take out but not dine in. read more

Ordered through DoorDash to the Chilis in Cedar Hill and was very, very disappointed in Chilis on this visit. Usually all is good and tasty but not today. I don't know who was in the kitchen but he was NOT on his job today. The wings were burned. You can clearly look at them and see their burned so why even send them out the kitchen??? Usually the eggrolls are fried crispy with a lil crunch but nope, felt like soft dough and they wasn't sliced in half like usual and they did NOT include my sliders as requested. The chili cheese fries were a thumbs down, it just had no taste to them at all. A complete waste of money. I complained through DoorDash and only got $15.65 back which I just used as a credit for next time cuz otherwise I would have to wait 7 days for my money back. So I'm visiting from out of town, and we came in to eat on my last night in town. We originally were going elsewhere but decided on this location of chili's because there wasn't a wait for our party of seven. We arrived and were greeted promptly, the host got us situated at a table pretty quickly and we were greeted promptly by a server. He started us with drinks and I ordered the valentines themed drink which was actually so good! I believe our server was just about to be off so I'm pretty sure we were transferred to another server. It was her first night and her name was Linda I believe. But she was so nice and gave us plenty of time to decide and mingle, being a larger group and with kids, ya know? Me and my boyfriend ordered the 2 for 25 as well as my brother and his girlfriend. Everything came out at once which was no big deal but kind of loaded up the table a bit haha. Some good came out spittle but before the rest, but nothing major. However, I've been to a few chili's and this one really made me change my mind about dining at one. It was one of the best experiences I've had. Linda was great as a server and we were checked on frequently but we also were one of the few tables in. But the food? AMAZING. I've literally never had a better meal at a chili's and I live right by one at home. Might make me reconsider and try another one soon ! Food has been as bipolar as Texas weather at this location. No seasoning sometimes too much seasoning, Burnt food sometimes raw food, or friendly staff sometimes horrible. I can't remember his name but one of the staff members that are there always side eyes me while I'm there and refuses to serve me since I told him last time that there was a hair in my food and it was burnt. I know how "Karens" are and I promise I wasn't like that. He now just looks at me with disgust since he thinks I'm going to complain. I ordered takeout. I have NEVER ordered and paid in full ahead of time takeout anywhere in DFW to leave with no food or refund. Customers beware! I probably should escalate as this is wrong for ALL food customers everywhere if this is the process. When I arrived, I was told someone already picked your order up. I responded, "Well, I am the real customer and gave my name." I was calm and said there are two choices. You can remake my family dinner or give me a refund and I have the card here for a refund. It was about 655 PM (dinner time). Short story is I left with no food and no refund. Keep reading for full customer experience. The takeout attendant said,"I will get manager." I stood waiting 10-15 mins. I then asked, "will the manager come help?" I did not need to wait another 15 minutes because family was waiting for dinner. The response was, "we are short staff and the manager is cooking." The manager comes and says, "Are you the one...? She then says, "I can't help you. Call Yelp/GrubHub and ask for your takeout refund." She offers to give me the phone to call in front of her. No care for customer or dinner for a family. No respect for the fact the payment already processed for $59.16. Paid. I asked could she provide my family dinner because I will have to go somewhere else and I just gave Chili's $60 online. She said, you paid a third part. I said Chili's is getting paid my money somehow. She eventually, asked me to leave restaurant with no food and no refund. I really think she thought I was running an illegal scam. She did NOT think to say file a police report for theft of my food. She did not offer to look at security cameras and research with loss prevention. I have NEVER ordered takeout anywhere in DFW to leave with no food and ordered was paid to restaurant directly or through YELP/GrubHub. I will change my buyer behavior. Customer beware! I arrived at a pizza place to take home dinner to family an hour later. Chili's and GrubHub this is an easy fix. Ask for the name, card of payment or DL before giving food. Make them confirm name at minimal. Obviously the error was theirs but I was treated like the criminal not a customer robbed of dinner and they allowed it. I don't do bad reviews like this but this is egregiously wrong. What mom/parent/customer would find this acceptable with all the tools to ensure customer service is right. Workers need to check self and ask would I accept the same treatment. The takeout attendant didn't offer to give me tea on a hot day and was all about GrubHub is a third part. The relationship with third party and poor Chili's response caused me to pay $60 and then another $30 for pizza to feed family. GrubHub said they will refund but what a MESSED UP CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! My family couldn't believe I paid and returned with no OldTimer burgers from Chili's. read more

We went here a few days ago and sadly had a terrible experience! The food and atmosphere were fine- it was our server who was the negative experience. Her name was Serena and she wore glasses. By her actions she made it very apparent that she is sleeping with another server there- their actions were completely inappropriate for any setting. My children even said something. When I asked to speak to a manager about the issue, she said they did not have one there at that time. I would like to speak to corporate about this issue, her (and whoever the guy was) behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. read more

I've always enjoyed Chili's and this has been my favorite location since high school pretty much. Of the ones in the area, it's definitely the best in terms of both service and food. There are other locations we've been to cause they're a little bit closer but we always end up back here when we're in the mood for Chili's, in particular. We also stop by when we just want to get out of the house and can't quite decide what we want. The service has always been great. We've never had any real issues with anyone that's served us in all the years we've been stopping by here. Occasionally there'll be a manager stopping by to see how things are going and if you need anything. Food is always pretty good, depending on how Chili's has switched up their menu. Which, as expected, as happened a lot over the years. As long as they keep the chicken ranch quesadillas we'll be good. I do sometimes try other things but can't go wrong with the quesadillas. Their queso is always one of my all-time favorites. Another great thing to do is mix their ranch and salsa. They have some of the best salsa (I'm a wimp who can't do spicy stuff haha) and ranch. They're definitely my top three as far as ranch goes. If you're looking for dessert, definitely can't go wrong with the chocolate chip skillet cookie or the molten chocolate cake. Both delicious choices. Chili's is a chain so you don't go here expecting life-changing food choices or meals, but if you're looking for something quick and delicious for lunch or dinner, it's a good choice to make. read more

Unfortunately I was very disappointed and disgusted with are waitress today. Her name is Indie and she looked absolutely out of it like she didn't want to be working today. She didn't smile and didn't really wanna engage with us. When we needed to order something or get something off the table she was nowhere to be found. We had to repeatedly ask different staff members to find her just so that we could get a refill or remove a plate. Very disappointed in the hospitality service here. Last sunday, January 10th, I ordered dinner for my family, and because of the weather, I used the delivery service...we order 1 3for$10.00 and 1 2for $25.00. We get our food, we are missing items, for our chicken fajitas, the corn on the cob was burnt, steak was tough, only thing good was the steamed broccoli . We ordered Dr. Pepper, with our 3for 10, why did we get an adult beverage, which cannot be ordered with a delivery order. I immediately call and the young lady who answers is trying to rush me off the phone, the manager has yet to call. Sadly this was not the 1st, but it will be the last, this gas happened to me 4 times, I tried to be understanding because of the pandemic, and it's more busy, but no more excuses, Chili's has bad service, and it needs to be fixed immediately. I'm a chills fan no matter what location. The menu has such a wide variety of items, that no matter what you are in the mood for chances are you will find it here! My favorite is the chile mango chicken with rice. It is so different and so good! Also if you're a mango fan like me, try the sweet mango tea. It's the best I've found! If you're not. Mango fan, try sprite with a splash of berry in it. It's so good! This location tends to have a bad rep of not so great customer service and a very slow wait time. Which is for the most part true. I feel that are understaffed and maybe could use a pep talk in customer service. Waiter and waitress are hit and miss here. Some are wonderful (like the one we had this round). I can't remember her name, but she was great! Either way chilies quality of food has always been good to me and I know I will be back for sure! read more

Literally our go to spot for drinks . Love their marg of the month. And I absolutely love that we get chips and salsa for the freezies if you join as a member. So that's ALWAYS a plus. damn, so the economy is shit, servers are really suffering atm because of the Corona virus scare. We went put for drinks despite all the warnings to stay home. We want to help the economy, plus we had 2 birthdays to celebrate... We get to this place, it's pretty slow for a Saturday night due to the aforementioned issue. We sit at a booth in the bar area. I signed up for their rewards program and very cool, they offer free chips and salsa for signing up. The moment we sat down, and I mean the MOMENT we sat down, (in fact my mom"s butt still hadn't hit the seat) she was doing that shoulder shimmy that we all do, when you're trying to remove your coat while sitting in a booth), some bartender assistant came up and seemed so proud of himself that he was there to get our order. HEY BRIGHT EYES, how about learning to read your table! When the menus are still stacked up in the middle of the table, that means your CUSTOMER has not had a chance to read them. BY THE WAY, HAVE YOUR MENUS WIPED AND SANITIZED, THEY ARE GREASY AND DISGUSTING. Anyway, I asked for a few minutes so we could look at the wonderful job Chilis does with their drink selection. All of that menu marketing and creativity goes into the menu, but the servers aren't skilled enough to use that to their advantage. So about 10 minutes later the actual bartender comes over, very hurried and in a frantic state, asks us what we want to drink. He has a lot of stuff in his hands that hes struggling to handle. I.E. hes not prepared to take our order. However, hes there and he is quite obviously in a rush. We proceed to give our order when after the first 3 orders are taken, he makes it quite clear that we are not convenient for him, so he steps to the next booth and drops all the crap in his hands and starts writing our order down while standing at another table. So now my husband and I are turned around in our seats to order and my mom is trying to yell her order to him. He heard her, but never acknowledged that, he just gathered all his crap and tried to scurry of. We sort of said loudly, did you get her order( pointing to my mom)? He looked down at his paper and said "yes, a coconut margarita, right"? We said yes, thanks. He rolled his eyes like we were dumb and scooted off with his shitty attitude. He then brought all the drinks...which btw, that COCONUT margarita, was AMAZING!!!! I would have loved to have another but he was a terrible server. As he was running by avoiding eye contact, I asked him for a chip refill, he then asked if we wanted another round...the guys got 2 more drinks, but I was not wanting to give any more money for this kind of attitude and service. He brought the drinks, again still never refilled chips. Never came back again. Not even to bring check. We paid on the little computer terminal thing on the table. Which we figured out to do on our own. He certainly never came back to inform us of anything. We were there 2 hours, he only came back once (because I stopped him). HIS NAME WAS JUAN. Hey Juan, I sincerely hope Chilis has some way of getting you these reviews. Here's what you need to know: 1.You are in a position to determine how much money that you make. 2. You represent Chilis, and you're very bad at it. 3. Learn to be a courteous and attentive server and you will see a difference in your tips. 4. You are obviously either burned out or have no common sense or both. 5. Do NOT have an attitude, when you SUCK at what you do. 6. I've been a server, bartender, manager and now am a director in the hospitality industry..I am a lifer. What you do isn't rocket science, figure it out or leave the industry. I would never have anyone like you working for me. 7. Here is a tip, when a table of 4 people over the age of 50, come in to have drinks and its NOT happy hour and they order drinks without regard for the price...that's the time that you start shifting your attention to that table. We were fully prepared to help the economy during this crisis. We would have left you a tip that was equivalent to what our check was. Instead we left you about 5%!!! Took more than a few minutes to get a waiter on a slow night. Our appetizer took 10 min to get to our table. I ordered the triple dipper wing, big mouth bites, and crispy cheese bites. I ordered the big mouth bites with no onions or pickles and sure enough they bring me them with onions. When I tell the waiter she tells me she'll bring me the correction and then never brought them. The big mouth bites and the crispy cheese bites were extremely salty. The wings were decent. And the molten chocolate cake was good as usual.
