I drive by this place ALL. THE. TIME. My wife didn't even know it was here, in the town we live in. So, one day we just decide to head in and give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised, if not blown away. It's a Chili's people. You know what you're getting. But it was no worse than any other chain restaurant, and absolutely no worse than say, my arch nemesis PJ Whelihans. Your standard bar and grill fare, served in a kitschy environment. They've even caught up to the times and have those on the table pay stations like you'd see at Yard House, et al. Met a friend of mine at the bar back in June 2025. Great experience! The bartender was so nice and the apps we enjoyed were delicious. We shared the triple dipper app and I enjoyed Modelo (on draft!) as well as a Spice-A-Rita which was very tasty. I was glad there were 2 seats at the bar since they were so busy; the "noise" of the restaurant was ideal. I always enjoy people-watching at a busy place. My wife and I are pretty regular visitors to this locale. It's a chain and it can have its off days, but I think it's usually pretty solid. We sit at the bar, have a couple margaritas and either share fajitas or get burgers. We're early birds, that's the key, we don't go when it's packed. The bartenders are friendly and give great service. That's it, 2 small pitchers of margaritas, and burgers, my burger was perfectly medium rare this time too. read more

I'm so surprised to be giving Chili's five stars but we had such a positive experience from beginning to end. I offered up Chili's as an option to my mom for dinner, and she made a face. "Isn't that a Mexican restaurant?" I told her that I've been seeing online their menu and food had changed. We arrived with skepticism but were seated promptly and attended to often. Based on the social media craze, we started with the fresh mozzarella which did pass the cheese pull test and were delicious. For dinner, my mom opted for a steak (cooked perfectly for well-done, look at how juicy!) and I tried their BBQ combo. Oh, my god. As I said, my expectations were low for chain restaurant BBQ but the ribs (and sauce) were so tasty, and the street corn a serious treat. Inside it's reminiscent of any other chain restaurant or Applebees-adjacent place. Ample tables, parking, drink menu, and unremarkable decor. The waitress that I had was named Alyssa. She was so patient with me, It was my first time ever coming to this restaurant and i've only seen things on social media. I had trouble ordering at first, but she was really sweet and helped me. My dad has an accent and it's tough understanding him, but she was patient and she understood him as well. The food was really good too. I got the big mozzarella sticks, crispers, and boneless bbq wings. Overall the food was warm, delicious, and filling. The "3 for me" options got us back to Chili's - we don't have one close by, so it's worth the 20-30 minute drive. With hungry 2 teenagers, it makes a family meal out affordable again, and we can all get what we like and not break the bank. I was very disappointed and disgusted with the quality of the food, its temperature, and the errors made in my food order. I did not get what I paid for--for sure. I They substituted my wings for nuggets. The meat on the burger bites was overcooked and dry. The bacon burger was the same, dry and cold. The bacon on the tex mex fries looked like someone chewed the bacon and spat it out. HORRIBLE-Disgusting! I spoke to the manager on duty, Julia, who only wanted to refund me $7 for the substitution. Server was rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day but when you work with public, you need to be pleasant to customers. My chips didn't come out, we had to ask where was it. The server sent a kitchen guy to help us we asked for silverware and napkins and she slammed on counter did the same with ketchup. It had been years since we had been to Chili's and thought let's give them another chance, well that didn't go well so we are done with Chili's and won't recommend and will let people know if you get the server we had, run. I don't want to put her name out but she was the bartender Monday night . Service was Awful I'm sorry to say. I placed my order ahead of time for car side to go and was happy with speed of service. since I had multiple items I didn't open each one there but checked number of boxes with bag receipt. This meal was a disaster. We came because my mother had a birthday coupon for a free dessert through the rewards program. Upon walking into the restaurant, it was dirty. There were probably 4-5 people at the host stand talking, who seemed very upset people had come in and interrupted their conversation. There was an 8.5 by 11 piece of paper with small text taped to the stand, 90% of people would not notice it, but I'm decently observant, so I read it. It said they were out of several products, including Coke, Sprite, multiple salad dressings, and all red meat products. No burgers, no steaks, no beef fajitas. No beef products whatsoever were being served at Chili's. Who has beef products as a huge staple in their menu. Whatever. We were seated at a table, and I requested to sit in a booth instead. She said they did not have any open, which we understood, and sat down. As the girl walked away she smacked me with her hair-- it was down to her mid calf and only pulled back with a bandana. It was an accident, but I feel like if you are working in a restaurant you should not have artificial hair down to your mid calf not pulled back into a ponytail. Our server came and we ordered drinks, and checked to make sure we would be able to use my mom's birthday reward with the free chips and salsa Chili's rewards members are supposed to get. She said she would check with her manager about the chips and salsa, then came back and said that we could not combine the two offers. My mom requested to speak with the manager directly. The manager came over and my mom voiced her dissatisfaction that she was unable to use her free birthday coupon with the chips and salsa and that she had been able to at another location. My mom said that she thought given all of the items the location was out of and the fact it was for her birthday they would honor it like at other Chili's. I would like to add here that I understand the manager was not obligated to honor that, but the way the manager approached the situation was distasteful. The manager rudely said that they had no control over the outages and that was the reason they had multiple signs-- on the front door and host stand. There was no sign on the front door when we came in, and like I said, the five people chatting at the host stand blocked the other one. Manager basically said she had no way to give us the chips and salsa for free, we said okay, she left. We ordered our food, two orders of chicken fajitas and an order of the chicken crispers with a salad. The salad came out before the food. The girl who brought the salad out was touching part of it (I don't think she realized) with her XXL acrylic nails. I don't know why a restaurant employee is allowed to have XXL acrylic nails as they are a hotspot for bacteria and dirt. But whatever. There was a piece of lettuce in the salad that had black stuff on it. The culmination of the experience was with my order of fajitas. I asked the server for a side cup of their chipotle pesto that they used to put on the chicken but no longer did. When my fajitas came out, I was in the bathroom. When I came to the table, I noticed that the cup they brought was not the chipotle pesto but their garlic butter. I asked my server for the chipotle pesto and she went to take the garlic butter cup back. It was a PLASTIC cup. That they had put on top of the scalding cast iron serving tray for their fajitas. The bottom of the cup had melted to the cast iron serving tray, I lifted it up to give it to her and garlic butter exploded all over my food. There was also now some melted plastic on my food. I asked if I could have it remade, she said yes. It took about 15 minutes for my new order of fajitas to come out-- by the time they arrived my dad had finished his entire meal. I started to eat and the chicken was HARD. It had looked burnt when it come out, but I didn't want to make them remake it again. But this chicken was HARD. And dry. The manager was sent over because of the plastic incident, it was a different manager than before, and I told him this. He offered to remake the fajitas himself. I ended up eating the burnt hard ones because it would have taken another 15 minutes for fresh fajitas. To close out the dinner, we ordered the molten cake as my mom's free birthday desert. There were large chunks of the ice cream that were freezer burnt, and the chocolate shell that is supposed to go on the ice cream was barely there-- they had a dime sized piece of the chocolate shell and that was it. Overall the dinner was incredibly disappointing. Also, the only compensation we received for the issues with our meal was half off my order of fajitas, which had to be remade twice. The fajitas are almost $19 on the menu, at that price they should be right the first time. Would NOT recommend this Chili's location. The specific manager we dealt with who was miserable was named Ashley. read more

Visited this Chili's for the second time this month (after 6pm both times). The servers and the food have been great each time, unfortunately each time the temp outside was in the 60's (right now it's 60 degrees)... inside the restaurant the temp was set to 64 degrees. It was so cold my fingers were numb, my wife and I couldn't (and didn't) enjoy our food. We final rushed down our food so we could hurry and get in the car. The sad part, none of the employees would turn down the air. Then when we went outside, it was warmer outside (at 60 degrees) than it was I side. Really inconsiderate of the staff to not attempt to accommodate the customers. It doesn't matter to the Chili's staff, but we will no longer be dinning at this Chili's in Deptford, NJ. SO UNFAIR AND INSENSITIVE, but no worries, we will spend our money and tips elsewhere. read more

The food here is typical for a chain. There's a lot offered on the menu. My son and I each had a half rack of ribs. He got loaded mashed potatoes and fries with his.
