We arrived on October 8, 2025 and the restaurant was cold inside with the air blowing right on you no matter where you sat. We started at a booth and then moved to the bar which was only "slightly' better but still chilly. The menu states that I would be able to 'build my own burger" but the bartender made me order one already named, which was the old timer burger. I asked for no onion or mustard or a side,(as it came with: cheddar, pickles, lettuce, tomato, diced red onions, mustard). When my burger came out it had cheese and mustard on it and nothing else with fries. I showed that to her and she took it back and then a few minutes later a guy came out and gave me a burger with no mustard, onion or pickles and no fries. I took it as it was as close as I was going to get. The burger itself was very tasty, but our experience went down some more when the bill came. She asked if we were paying my credit card or cash and I said credit card. She gave me the machine and as I saw the total I knew something was off. She put in an extra burger on the check. I waited until she came over & I showed it to her that there was an added burger on our bill. She said oh sorry, I had to add it to get it made right. So, she knew she did it but figured I wouldn't notice that and just pay. The slip she gave me had the percentage of tips at the bottom & they were off by $3. I did not tip what they wanted or give the 20% as I didn't feel she earned it since she added a burger and "forgot" to remove it. My husband's meal was accurate but after my experience, that is one place I will never go to again. They won't last long if that is the service they provide. Horrible first time experience! Arrived to the new location in Dickson City, PA @ 5:30pm, noticed that there were clusters of people gathered outside of the building, so decided to go inside the entrance to which I learned there would be a wait time of atleast 35-45 mins from the attendee. Gave her my number to which I was placed on a waitlist & got the text @ 5:34pm, saying they would text as soon as a table was available. Group of people that were placed on waiting list before myself & my party of 2, were called in 10 mins. Ok still was okay with the original wait time. Time goes by I go in & they tell me ok an alert was just sent to them, to let them know I am still there waiting for a table. More time goes by, it is now 6:34pm & my friend goes inside, after seeing numerous people just walk in & being handed menus & asked them how much longer do they think it would be for the wait, the new attendee goes "oh your party just checked in 16 mins ago, it's going to be another hour wait"!!! After waiting another 20 mins to half hour over the original wait time, to be told it would be another hour wait?!?! I never had my blood boil so badly!!!! On top of this all. it started off drizzling in the beginning of the wait time which eventually led to it pouring at the end of the wait time! No place for customers, to be able to wait; besides to stand outside! We decided after all that time, to just end up leaving to go somewhere else! At this point we just wanted a drink & were so hungry. Definitely not a location, I would recommend to anyone. Our second time at this location, first time ever Chili goers since this one opened up in our era, food and service is great. I like the TVS and decor, it gives you something to look at while you wait to order/are eating. We visited on a Friday around 7:45/8 pm, it was only a 15 minute wait if that's something you're concerned about. Our server the second time was Abram, he was great! Super funny, down to earth, and just really enjoyable to have as a server. Our food came out nice and hot, everything was great. We never got our appetizer, figured it may come out after our mains, but when we neared the end of our meal, we never got it. (Trio dip- 3 dips and chips) which was fine, I asked to speak to a manager about maybe just switching the chips and dips for a dessert, (since we were almost finished eating) and he ended up comping the dessert. That was very nice of him, he did not have to do that. So thank you Chili's! We will definitely be back, 10/10:) I totally recommend the burgers, fries are one of my faves. My boyfriend likes the big QP burger, I like the smasher burger. Also the triple dipper is as good as it seems from TikTok, my personal fav is the fried mozz or the eggrolls. Sitting in the parking lot after a fantastic meal at the new Chili's in Dickson City, I'm feeling pretty satisfied, almost as if I just won a Dundie myself. We visited during the soft opening, and I have to say, it was a great experience. The servers were friendly and incredibly attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly, which reminded me of how Michael tries (and often fails) to keep the Dundie awards running with a little more grace. Unlike Pam's infamous fall that night, there was nothing clumsy about the service here. Everything was top-notch. The portions were huge, but somehow, the bill didn't make me feel like I'd just been hit with the shock of a "Best Boss" mug. It was surprisingly affordable for such a satisfying meal, making this spot a winner in my book. If you're in Dickson City, I'd recommend checking it out. This was my first time ever trying a Chili's and let me tell you what- I was SO excited!!! Tik Tok had my expectations of a triple dipper way high. It did not disappoint! Our waitress, Amanda, was such a sweetheart and very attentive. However, let me get to the stars of the show. Maurice, Ashley, Justice, and Alex are the BEST hosts I've ever encountered. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the wait times for our food were relatively short. Now let me tell you about our fantastic waiter, Bobby. This man was the most cheerful, delightful, helpful, funny, and tentative worker I have seen throughout all my years. As long as Bobby works here, Chilis is in good hands. This restaurant is a great addition to the Scranton/Dickson City area. Since it is new the wait times are a little longer than usual, but overall the experience and food were amazing. Our server, Amanda, was great and provided exceptional service. The Office theme was prevalent throughout the restaurant and created a unique ambiance and experience. Amazing service and food! The nostalgia factor of the old style tables and chalkboards is so cozy, and if you're a fan of the Office, the decor nods to the show are carefully placed-- like a game of I Spy while you eat. Even with the crazy long wait times, all the staff remained calm, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. The wait is well worth it. The food is amazing and the honey chipotle is so good and the white cheddar Mac n cheese is really good too. I also good over 2 feet cheese pull with the fried mozzarella.
