Second night: I figured Id get the peppercorn chicken ceaser salad. Sure there was pepper on it, but no peppercorns I could see, it looked like it got a dusting from a pepper shaker. Over 40 minutes to get food gave us plenty of time to look at the multiple dirty tables, to go to the filthy restroom, see other guests have to go on a hunt for salt and pepper and overhear the employees' nasty attitudes. Parking of course is easy due to it being in a giant shopping center. The wait for a seat was okay. We ordered an appetizer and three plates. I had the Monterrey Chicken, my lady had Chicken Crispers, and my mom had Baby Back ribs. We got our drinks timely but when it came to our Cheesy fries it seemed we had waited over 20 minutes for them. Come on! This is an appetizer people! Hold me over till my food get here! The Monterrey Chicken and the Crispers were up to standards. Face it you have an expectation to corporate foods. Crispers were crunchy and the Monterrey Chicken was oozing with cheese and bacon. Chilis is becoming as bad as Applebee's lol but I still come here because of the value , I mean the 8$ lunch break deal from 11 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday 3 for 10 2 for 25 I mean for cheapskates like my self that's too much value to say no too lol quantities are huge and 2 for 25 could truly feed 3 people , myself ( little lady ) my mom ( little older lady ) and my 8 year old nephew shared the 2 for 25 and was all full and had a huge plate of leftovers but last time I came to this location I felt these waitresses pain our particular waitress kept " disappearing" to the bathroom and when she came out she would always have on the ' I'm forcing my smile for my tip ' face. I felt bad. Then another girl who who was trying to work her tables had ended up doing our waitresses job and I'm pretty sure the tip we lef went to whosever table we left it at. These servers are overworked like hell. There is a huge turnover rate at this location it's always new faces. After wasting of my life here, I just walked to the kitchen and asked for my check. They then brought me a tablet with two different checks on it. Went last night. We were not given menus because there was no clean ones. You can tell because the hostess was about to grab some dirty ones but decided against that and never gave us clean ones. A server got our drinks but they looked like they were definitely taking care of another section in the restaurant. After like 15 minutes of no one coming to check on us I asked the hostess to check for a server to take our order. There was so many waitstaff going in and out of the kitchen that there was no excuse on why we were not checked on. The only people that I saw working was the bartender a few servers and cooks. The bartender looked decently busy with the majority of open tickets and parties to take care of at the restaurant sitting at his bar already. The server who did get our drinks was already taking care of a few tables. There was not a lot of tables to be served already when we were there. Someone stopped by and asked how we are doing but the thing about that is that they were standing around doing nothing for awhile too. It got to the point that we didn't want to bother cause it was already 30 minutes of no one checking. I don't know if the hostess forgot to notify if we're were in someone's section but there was enough servers to have someone check in on us. She honestly didn't seem like she wanted to be there. We ended up leaving before ordering. And lastly, I accidentally left my wallet at the booth we were at and called to see if they can find it. The lady who answered said she would check but said that it wasn't there. I went back anyways just in case and it was on the floor and people were already sat down. I always order the 3 for 10 with pasta but recently that I've been ordering from them they're dry and taste like they were microwaved. I still think chili's is a good restaurant but not the one on East Fwy. I wouldn't give a bad review if I didn't have another chili's to compare them to.
