My family and I went to eat here and we were very disappointed with the service. Half the appetizers were missing and half the food too. When we asked for refills for drinks it took an hour and the other half of the food didn't come out until almost 2 hours later. I have never had an experience like this in my life. My brother and sister in law ordered margs and they couldn't drink them because they were so foul. Omg ! So I order a half rack of ribs and they give me 3 sparse rib bone with hardly any meat at all on them. The waiter sends the manager and he tells me since they're more meaty ribs the portions are smaller now. Omg they had no meat on them and I ordered and paid for a half rack of ribs. This used to be one of our go to places, late in the evening. Tonight changed it for me. We both ordered burgers and fries, plus queso with chips! The amount of sodium was horrific in everything. This place is alright, they have some Mexican items but they do not do well with Mexican. They should just keep to the american things. They do have good chicken enchilada soup but I hate the Quesadillas! On the Border's are soooooo much better!!!! I would just go next door to On the Border for Mexican because you get free chips and salsa there and not at Chili's. You have to pay for chips and salsa there! So just go next door to OTB and get some chips that are nice and fresh and not thin that it breaks when you dip it in queso!! The salsa is made fresh everyday too! We have avoided Chilis for the past few years due to continuously bad experiences at multiple locations. We were childless on a Friday night and wanted to share something to eat before going to the movies. We had remembered that the cheese fries used to be pretty good so we shared an order of those. What was delivered to our table was pathetic. The fries were left in the oven for far to long to melt the "cheese". The cheese was fried to non existence. We flagged down the server and asked if there was anyway we could get a fresh order, possible with cheese. She took the fries, and came back with the same order of overly cooked fries with unmelted cheese threw on top. The picture was taken as soon as the fries were brought out a second time. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the before. She sat them down and scurried away, as she knew this was pathetic. I guess there was a reason we have avoided this place for years. read more

Devin, Michael and Jen who work in the bar area are fantastic. Great place to watch a Royals game in the Liberty area. The food is better than average and the selection is better than most chains. Chili's is One of our most favorite places my family and I love to eat at.. Went in on a Sunday Morning For Lunch. As we were seated we noticed that there were maybe 3 servers there. And the place was Filled up(Busy). We Had A Gentleman/Waiter and gave us the best service that we have received in a long time. And Boy... He was Busy. I saw him running from table to table while also helping out the other servers too. We Noticed our waiter had about half the restaurant all at once. He had alot of tables. He had experience and was very professional. Our Food came out perfect just how we ordered it. However it did take 45 minutes for it to come out.. We stopped a manager to tell her how great and professional our waiter was and asked why she wasn't helping out the other servers.. My wife and I are big fans of Chili's, but this location really falls short. The service and the food consistently falls short. This location is very dated. The food quality is inconsistent and the wait time on the food can be long. You can tell that the young hostess could care less about her job. She's just hoping the time passes quickly. This location doesn't participate in the Rewards program, and this is a real bummer. It has to do with whether it is a corporate store or a franchise location. This one is off our list. This should have rated 1.5 stars. I ate here one evening around 7 PM on a week day. I sat in the bar area. Service was slooooooowwwww. It was as if the server/bartender couldn't care less about the tables. I have been to other Chili's where it has been much busier and still gotten better service. Food was typical Chili's fare. Server only came back once at the end of my meal and never refilled my soda. Bad service definitely this store is in need of some server training. I had not visited a Chili's restaurant for some time - if this meal is representative of all Chili's locations and you own stock, then Sell, Sell, Sell!!! To be fair, the corn on the cob was pretty tasty. Had that been the only item on my plate, my review would be much different! The fries were pretty decent, but I expected a portion about double the size of what came with my $11 meal. My entrée was the extra crispy chicken strips, but I found nothing extra crispy about them. Even worse, saying that the quality was mediocre would be insulting to other mediocre chicken. I hate to leave this one star review because the food was actually really tasty. However, our waitress was so atrocious I couldn't keep it quiet. Unfortunately, we do not know her name, but it was by far the worst experience I have had in a restaurant in quite some time. It was a Friday night at about 5:30 so it was picking up a little but wasn't extremely busy. Shortly after we got seated (which was right behind the host stand) our waitress exploded at the person seating guests and yelled "ENOUGH!!! I AM NOT THE ONLY WAITRESS HERE!!! NO MORE!!" which made us a little uncomfortable because of her attitude towards her coworkers but by this time there were also a few people waiting to be seated so they saw it too. She dropped our appetizer off and we said thank you but she didn't even acknowledge us, just stomped off. She brought us our entrée a little later without incident. We then ordered our dessert. It had been a couple minutes but not that long and she came back and said "it's going to be a hot minute before you get your skillet cookie because the kitchen doesn't know what they're doing" with an eye roll. Then lo and behold it was about 2 minutes later and we got our cookie. But the absolute worst part was when we got up to leave. She had dropped off the ticket earlier and not come back, so we went ahead and paid at the table. We still sat there for a couple of minutes after paying and she didn't come back. So, we left. But then she comes rushing out of the kitchen across the dining area and screams "HEY!!!!! DID YOU GUYS PAY?!!!!" in a tone and manner that makes it seem as if we were trying to dine and dash. There were again several people waiting to be seated and she thoroughly embarrassed us and it was highly unnecessary. We stood there for a minute as my husband tried to pull up his bank account to prove the transaction went through (which we shouldn't have had to do as honest, paying customers) and had the whole crowd of people waiting to be seated staring at us as if we had done something wrong when we hadn't. She then found the receipt on the tablet that takes the payments and said "ok, you guys can go ahead and go now". Again, I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. It's a shame because the food here is always delicious, but it makes me not want to go back anytime soon. read more

I travel extensively and this Chilis is by far the best I've been to, Morgan was an excellent bartender and I received my boneless wings in just a few minutes and hot! The cold snap was a little off but the blue moon was spot on. Not too crowded, not too loud, plenty of TV's with college hoops on...can't complain. Must have had a management change because the last time I was here...I left before my food even arrived! Great job For cleaning the place up and an exceptional improvement on the service! I was in KC for the weekend and decided to stick with what I know. And Chili's never let's me down. But this one did. Waiter didn't put the right order in and our appetizers were delayed. Not a problem, mistakes happen and the manager stopped by and apologized. We weren't even mad. Then while eating my buffalo wings, my chicken was still bleeding and uncooked. So they sent it back and promised boneless in 4 mins to replace my bone in raw wings. Well 20 mins later I got cold buffalo chicken. So if you want raw chicken and no appetizers then by all means go here. But all I can say is never again when I'm in KC and let's pray I don't get food poisoning. read more

Slow service waited 5-10 min to be greeted ordered our food same time as our drinks we had that much time, a little over 20 min later my steak order rare came out med well. My wife's burger order med came out burnt. My kids grilled cheese, had cold cheese. And delivered wrong side never got the right one as we didn't have another 20+ min to wait on new food.
