Recently ordered 3 "3 for me" meals for pickup. Upon arriving home I found that all 3 sides were missing. Upon contacting them I was informed I could receive a $15 credit. I declined as it seems they are only trying to fix one of the three meals they ruined. Cheap business practices, Chili's. My wife, myself, and six friends ate here on a weeknight. There was not a wait, and we had pretty good service despite having a large party of 8. I ordered the Texas cheese fries as an app, and they were absolutely delicious--cheesy, spiced with jalepanos, and bacon galore! For drinks, I ordered a top shelf strawberry margarita, it was sweet, but not too sweet, I loved it! The chips and salsa were pretty good, the chips are pretty thing but made for an interesting app! For entrees, I ordered the boneless wings with buffalo. The sauce was pretty good, not too crazy hot, and had a nice crisp to the breading. My wife got the brisket quesadillas, which surprisingly she wasn't the biggest fan of, but they were solid. The noise was pretty minimal as the restaurant was less than half full. How do you even rate chilis? It's an American classic! I mean, it's a chain. So expect that. But as far as chains go, this is the best of the best. Tons of great drink options, tons of food options, I've never had anything I didn't like. You're going to get some bland options, remember it's a chain that our grandparents made famous and they like food without spice, but you can always add salt and pepper. Their onion petals, BBQ plate, corn, and chicken crispers are some of my favorites. We've been to this location a few times, always quick to seat us and always quick service! read more

It is a given a restaurant is quite busy on Saturday but to sit and have the wrong food brought out and then the same food brought back just swimming in sauce on two separate meals, ordered a margarita just for it to never come but other tables receiving theirs even though I had asked twice about it, the wrong dipping sauces brought twice and just poor service was so disappointing. Wow the food here is incredible. I got some good photos finally lol. I like the vibe in here very high end American themed dining. The guy serving us was funny and nice and our food came out pretty quickly. Our server kept checking in on us too which was nice. I believe his name was Ezekiel so shout out to him. The bar scene here is great and I love all the seating options. The girl hosting us was also nice. The food was sooooo good but it was definitely a lot! This was my combination lunch and dinner and it was still too much. And I have a pretty moderate appetite too. Id say if youre going to try multiple things, get smaller portions. Service was excellent today. Restaurant clean with tables and chairs wiped down and floor swept. But everyone knows you have to, at the very least, put salt and pepper on hamburger meat to bring out the flavor. We ordered the $10.99 special which was a good value for the amount of food you get. The hamburger was thick and juicy but lacked any taste. They tried to mask the blandness by overdoing it with the "special" Chili's sauce. It was lathered on both sides of the bun which made the burger pretty messy to eat. Fries are great and the side salad good. The bonus chips and salsa was a nice addition and the price included a drink. Next time I'll go for the Old Timer burger fixed my way. read more

I hadn't been to a Chili's in 15 years, and only came because I'd received a gift card for Christmas. That said, we were pleasantly surprised at both the food and service. Our waitress was great with our kids, giving them both milk even though we only ordered one meal for them to split. She also brought their food out first, which -- as all parents know -- is a blessing. My wife got the salmon, and it was perfectly cooked, as was her broccoli. I got the steak and shrimp fajitas, and both meats were tender, not overdone. Well seasoned, not oversalty. Today I've came here for lunch every hurngry, so I order a 16oz steak with steamed broccoli and loaded mash.. Unfortunately my steam broccoli wasn't very clean, I've told the sever this problem and he made it my problem. The food was good. The place was a total disaster. First off. I had to wait five minutes just to find out where to place an order, no bartender. She's out on the floor. Chilis is really starting to slip. For one, their menu is too large with too many items. No restaurant can keep up with that many dishes and make them all taste good. I was pretty disappointed in my last visit. Everything was bland and tasteless. It all looked like microwaved products. Nothing seemed to be made in house. The wait staff was very unorganized and unsure. We ordered an appetizer but it arrived after our salads. Then the entrees came out very soon after that. Our table couldn't hold all the plates, as almost everything is served on its own plate. Just a very disappointing experience. I wasn't expecting much from Chili's, and surprisingly, everything was really good. I appreciated that they brought out the kids' food first, and they both got milk. I got the salmon to be "healthier". It was well cooked and seasoned, and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the steak and shrimp fajitas. In fact, one of my young children devoured the shrimp. Went on a Friday night around 7:30. Had 7+ open tables that we could see yet the hostess's weren't seating them. 15-20 minute wait. Finally after a child asked why he couldn't sit at one of the visibly open tables, the hostess replied that the kitchen was backed up. After working in the industry and knowing that kitchens get backed up, this treatment of potential paying guests was comical. At least sit us. Instruct your wait staff to not put food orders in all at once. Something! But to make guests stand in your cold lobby while looking at an empty table and them sitting them at the empty table after they stood next to it for 15 minutes is nothing shy of pathetic. just because i'm nice and i too am a server ill leave a star. we arrived at 11:55 and got seated while the resturant was slow, ordered our drinks and ordered our food immediately just in case a rush came. drinks came out fast. we sat for a very long time and more tables started piling in after and ordering food. we sat longer and didn't make a fuss because i know being in the industry , things happen. the tables that came in after us were getting food delivered quickly including other tables that ordered the same items as us. ( we only ordered the triple dipper & the sliders) . our server didn't bother to check up on us but was checking up on her other tables around us. we tried getting her attention to ask for an update on our food but got ignored. managers walked past us looking at us several times and we tried asking other people for updates and we got ignored. after about an hour & a half, we left a 20 dollar bill for our servers time and left once we realized our food wasn't coming out. i came in with my boyfriend and i understand that servers get annoyed with younger adults coming in but im very disappointed because i used to love chilis. read more

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the bartender who noticed we walked in with her when she came in for her shift, which was 30 min before she noticed and came over and waited on our table. However I noticed the waitress that had the section we were sitting in did not acknowledge the black people that were sat in her section. The reason I know she didn't is because another table of black people were sat and she ignored them until the hostess noticed no one had even gotten them water. By far the most respectable person in the serving industry he was so accommodating to us as we recently learned we are pregnant with our second. I saw an ad in the hotel elevator promoting a Chilis location on site. I was tired after a long day of driving and decided to grab something before bed. The host gestured toward the bar and said it was open seating before wandering off. There were two occupied tables and one person seated at the bar. With so few people in the room I was amazed to find not a single clean table or seat at the bar, and there were no employees present to help. On my walk back to my room in the hotel I called the restaurant to let them know about this issue. The manager, Brian, answered the call. I called and spoke to "Brian" the "Manager" he explained to me that even though they made a mistake on the order that Grubhub gets paid for the food, I asked "Does that mean Chili gives food for free?" He repeated himself that I would have to seek a refund from Grubhub, Not once did he ask if they could "remake my order correctly, apologize or any of the other common courtesies that used to be provided. We've not been to a Chili's for quite awhile but the last couple months we've gone here to dine 4 or 5 times. They have an excellent menu. Many new items such as fajitas that I don't recall from prior visits many moons ago. The older standards such as the Old-Timer Cheeseburger are still available. The food, service, and servers have consistently been excellent these past visits and have really enjoyed dining there. read more

I've been to Chili's many times during air travel. There is a location in many of the airports. But I never really had the desire to choose the local location for dinner until a gift card provided the extra push. The Kirkwood Chili's is located right in the middle of two flanking strip malls, which means it always seems busy. We arrived at arround 2 PM on a Saturday and they were packed. There were only a couple of open tables. The placed is made for those with A.D.D. There are flatscreens throughout the restauarnt and the bar area has so many that they seem to overlap. There are tablets on stands at every table where you can look at pictures of their food, play games, and use it to pay your bill. Once we sat two of the tables around us were already having problems. So we were sure to check our order when it arrived. My wife didn't get her avocado for her burger. We pointed that out and they were quick to fix it. But I definately would recommend checking your order right away. Food was fine. I had a quesadilla salad which was actually pretty good. And all together our bill was ~$30 including tip. Been here 2 times this month so far and both times were delicious. 1st time we came during the week with a table of 5. Everything was hot! Nobody was really in there but I was glad. Next time we went was this past Saturday and it was a table of 7. We all got fajitas except a burger and a pizza. We got chicken fajitas, steak fajitas and shrimp fajitas. Everything was sizzling hot and fresh! Our waitress was super nice was well! She was friendly. We ordered 4 fajita meals, but 1 was 3 meats and before she gave it to him she immediately seen it had the wrong meat on it before she set it on the table and she took it to the kitchen to get the steak added. Came in here at 5pm on a Thursday with my family. Restaurant was clean, waitress was attentive but the food was lacking. Tortilla chips were stale and all of our fries were lukewarm and stale as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours. There was something off with my wife's chicken strippers; the chicken texture was rubbery and unnatural.
