This place is absolutely terrible, please avoid it at all costs. We have given them multiple tries and they continue to be horrible. One of our orders had 6 things, 5 of which they ruined. Including adding bacon to a vegetarian's salad and adding chicken to no meat nachos. They are also consistently slow for take out. We ordered at 4:13 and it was supposed to be ready at 4:39. We got our food at 5:09. All while the restaurant was empty (they were turning people away). I highly recommend never coming here. We will never go back. read more

We stopped by for an early dinner to find the bartender was the only server they had. He was very friendly and told us up front that he was by himself and the only seating was at or around the bar. We gave him a chance knowing we would need to be patient and understanding with him. He did great! We felt bad that he was the only server but knowing he did his best was enough for us. wow (bad), just wow! I hate to bitch, but I travel for work and you sometimes need a quick meal and hope for consistency from a national brand. Very disappointing here. Getting late, and very hungry, I stop in here on my way to my hotel. I order a burger to go and a beer while I wait. I finish the beer and ask for my burger and the (very nice) lady at the bar admits that she forgot to send the order in. While I wait a half an hour for my burger, no one offered to "top off' my beer. In the end, she did take the beer off the bill. However, the burger (ordered Medium) was well done, and packed without napkins and condiments. Fries were ICE COLD. SMH....who is supervising? No visit from a Manager? Went there today and got a waitress who could care less about ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Took order, dropped off food and never to be seen again. Chips for salsa were soaked in grease but our server was nowhere to be found to get them replaced. Food arrived, the guacamole was dark brown from oxidation, less than appetizing. Fajitas were fair but rice it comes with was scorched black from the heat and the onions faced the same burnt offering fate. My wife was in bathroom when an employee came in and did her business and left without flushing or washing her hands I will never go back again with their 90 food rating. Spoke with manager who took iced teas off bill and apologized and that was the best remedy she could come up with. We will never return there. read more

I try to be understanding with restaurants being short staffed these days, but too many things went wrong here. The host seemed confused about the wait time, but we were seated shorter than expected. It took a while for a server to arrive and take our drink orders. It was fountain drinks only but those took a while to arrive as well. So did our chips and salsa. My friend received her food much sooner than I did with no explanation from our server. When I stopped her to ask for a refill on my tea, I asked when my order would be ready. She then explained it had to be remade because the dressing was wrong. When my dinner did finally arrive, the chicken wasn't fully cooked. I noticed right away and pointed it out to the server. She then called the manager over to our table who apologized glibly. He made no offer to take anything off of our bill. I instead proposed I'd pay for my tea and chips, but I'd like the salad taken off of the bill. He did not remove the salad from the table. About 10 minutes passed and our server returned to explain the checkout process. We asked her to split the checks and that took a bit too. Five minutes after the timeframe I was given online (for someone to bring the order out; hence curbside) I went inside to pick up my order. The takeout counter was crowded with two other people in front of me. They seemed annoyed. The girl working the counter was polite, but totally oblivious to any issues. My food was cold. Terrible terrible experience. After getting on time to meet our curbside order we waited for over 35 minutes. I asked if there was a problem and she was polite and explained they are having a tough time getting all the orders out on time. Went to the Knightdale, NC Chili's for lunch around 11:40 & was seated in the main dining area. The place was not busy at all. At 11:50, we noticed a family of 3 get up & leave. The husband stopped & hoped I had a free afternoon as he'd been there for almost 15 minutes & not a soul came by. We waited another few minutes & still no server. We got up & on our way out, told the hostess that there was no server working that area. Apparently, she was a deaf mute as she didn't reply or even gesture. I have had the absolute worst experience doing a to-go order at this Chili's. I placed my order for to-go on-line and was told that it would be ready to be picked up within a specific time window. I showed up to the location 10 minutes after that window thinking "Yes, it definitely has to be ready now". I checked in through the app and waiting for someone to bring my order. 15 minutes later, no one ever came. I thought maybe they were short staffed and it really wasn't ready yet or maybe they didn't have someone to bring it out. I was still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. So I called the to-go and asked them to confirm if my order was ready and I would come inside and get it. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold to check for my order and never came back. After 5-10 minutes on hold I thought "they must be really busy" and just went inside. There was one young lady behind the to-go counter going back and forth between being on the phone and talking to someone in the kitchen. After about 5 minutes she got off the phone and just walked away but never said anything to me. At this point, it was well over an hour since I had placed my order, the gentleman waiting for his order overheard them discussing my order (when I called and was indefinitely put on hold) and he informed me that they were missing something from my order. The employee came back a few moments later and asked how she could help me. I requested to cancel my order and get a refund so I could go home. The only thing she said to me was let me get my manager. She disappeared and came back with a guy who I assumed to be the manager since he did not say anything to me. He came to the register and asked the employee what he was supposed to be doing and the name on the order. Then he finally asked me if it was my order, pulled some receipt paper, and started writing info down (my name, email, phone number, etc). He said he was going to the back to process the return and it would take 5-7 business days but he couldn't provide me with any receipt or anything that documented a refund because "that's not how they do things". I asked him for his name and confirmed that he was the manager. He did give me name but stated that was not his location he was just the manager on duty. He never actually explained what happened with my order. He never apologized for inconvenience or the poor service. He was actually very unprofessional and speaking to me like I was bothering him. I left with no refund, no food, no apology... just frustration and anger for the piss poor customer service. This is not how you do business! Your website advertises your cultural beliefs as "We're in the business of making everyone feel special. In everything we do, we have to ask ourselves if we're putting the Guest first and making sure they'll come back for more. 1st -chilis is my favorite restaurant. We told the waiter we were in a rush and ordered the moment we sat down. They brought out 1 chicken Alfredo (multiple people ordered the same dish) for one person after 10 minutes and then didn't bring anyone else's food out for 30 minutes. So after 40 minutes of waiting we had to leave for an appointment and still paid for the one single dish they gave out. wasted all of our lunches so none of us will eat until we're off work. I have ate of chili numerous times, this is my first time using the app to order, it was an ok experience once I finally figured it out, I still had to go in to pay for it which was fine, the only issue is that the welcome was not as inviting as it could have been maybe because it was right after lunch, maybe because a lot of orders where coming in. The chicken crispers were raw and rubbery. They brought food out without any dipping sauces. Had a really bad experience at the Knightdale,NC location last night. Ordered my food at 4:45 for pickup. Got there at 5:20 and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to help me. Then they couldn't find my food after 10 minutes looking it was sitting on a table in the restaurant..cold. I looked at it once I got to the car and half the order was missing. I went back inside to get the rest of the food and had to wait another 15 mins for someone to acknowledge me. They said it was in the bag when it clearly wasn't. I had to wait another 20 mins, finally found a manger and he took about 5 mins to get me the rest of my order. At this point my food is ice cold and he didn't seem to care less and opened the door so I would leave. So it took almost 2 hours and all I got was cold and soggy food and I spent $35 dollars. Our waiter was extremely forgetful, many of the orders were wrong, and at the end we waited twenty minutes just to get our cards back because he forgot to bring them back to the table. What a horrible experience. You would think there was no management around because of the lack of attention to the customers by the staff. We arrive at 3:30 and we waited over 15 minutes before we had someone come to the table to say, "I'll be right with you." That was the first clue that we should have just left. But we were starving and had a long 4 hour drive from Virginia. A female employee came by and said that our server would be right with us but she noticed we were there a while and took our drink orders, I told her we were ready to order either way so she took the full order. They came with chips and salsa to hold us off and we still didn't get our orders until 4:15, so it was already 45 minutes before we were situated. Our orders were pretty simple, 3 kids meals not very hot, two burger orders that were fine but fries were a bit stale, and my husband's fajita dish which was okay until the sides came and the guacamole was brown. I mean disgusting, I told the guy that brought the plate it was unacceptable so he said he'd bring something back, the female server ended up bringing the correct items which ended up being another 8 minutes, my husband was almost done with his meal. At no point did they bring the manager to make things right and I was not in the mood to wait around as there were so many table complaining. A table across even complained that their server was seen in the bathroom and had not flushed the toilet or washed her hands. We were seated promptly and our waiter was amazing got our drinks and appetizers orders right and all the food came out hot. SERVICE and Food Quality and selection was wonderful. Arrived at 9:36 hopped on the wait list, checked back via the link texted to my phone every so often finally around 10:30 we were first in line. So we get out of the car, go sit inside thinking not much longer only to have the host tell us and the 2 other parties (another 2 top and a 1 top) that it would be another HOUR+. I questioned about that being after closing time as they apparently close at 11, not midnight like it says online. She let out a laugh and said "heh yeah sorry to be the bearer of bad news". Very unprofessional considering they knew they were behind and sinking, yet still taking on more tables for wait-list. Waited until everything else near by was closed to tell us. Worse service ever. Never brought out one of our food orders. Had to ask a few times for the his order. They said they ran out of milk that was order for a kid at the table. Had to wait 10 minutes after the food got to the table for silverware. Appetizer came out after our meal . We also ordered deserts halfway through the meal and was waiting after the meal was finished, for the dessert and finally the server came out and said they were out of that and asked if we wanted something else. So we ordered the cheese cake and had to wait over 20 min. Brought the bill out the price was about $33. Took my debit card and came back with a charge of 41.10. I used a gift card to order a ribeye steak dinner to go. The steak came in two pieces, attached by gristle, that were thin, overcooked, and cold. The stuffed baked potato was a serving of mashed potato in a paper cup topped with a tiny sprinkle of bacon and cheese, also cold. The house salad, which cost extra, was lettuce with a trace of diced tomato, a cucumber slice, two thin slivers of onion, and croutons, crammed into another paper cup. I was told over the phone that I would need to come inside the restaurant to use the gift card. When I handed it over, I was told I could have paid with curbside pick up, no problem. The cashier was nice, but overall, sound good to you for $25? I don't expect great or even very good from a mid range chain restaurant, but c'mon, guys, you're not even trying. Let me tell you about a 3 hour tour... We arrived at the location at 6:12pm and put our name on the list. We were told 30-45 minute wait, which was fine. An hour later, which was still fine as the original quoted time is just an estimate, we noticed 2 parties that arrived after us and appeared after us on the "waiting list" (which is a feature available through yelp) had been seated ahead of us. Irritating yes, but still not the worst thing that has ever happened in a chain restaurant... At the point we noticed the parties behind us being seated ahead of us I contacted the hostess about it, we were seated immediately (all good). 20 minutes later we are sitting at the table still not having been contacted by any waitstaff/manager or any body. Now, you might be thinking "They must be busy"... Not really though. Remember, due to covid these places are only allowed 50% seating AT BEST. In any event the waitress finally came to the table for initial contact at 7:33. We put in our drink orders as well as our dinner order, as we had plenty of time to figure out what we all wanted. Great we're in! Let's GOOOO! Not so fast... All of us ordered salads (3 house and a Caesar). The 3 house salads looked great and they enjoyed them, the Caesar NOT SO MUCH. It was drowned in dressing and I don't mean it just had a little too much, it was literally SWIMMING in the dressing. About half way through I noticed that half of the lettuce was literally brown... Now keep in mind lettuce goes bad pretty easily ya know, a little brown is ok, but when the entire leaf is BROWN, that's a no go for me! Whatever, it's just a salad and not really THAT big of a deal... At 8:13 our entrees come out. My daughter had a burger which she said was great, Pops had ribs, he said they were good. My mother and I ordered the Chicken Fajitas... The skillet came out and appeared to be sizzling (which is awesome) however I could pick up the skillet with my hand and hold it without feeling much heat at all O_o . As someone who orders fajitas a lot, I've never once been able to touch the skillet much less hold it in my hand. The peppers and onions were blah at best, the rice was dryer than the Mojave desert, beans may have been refrigerated?!?!... The sour cream was ok though :D We ordered 2 of the 2 for $25 deals so that came with 2 desserts as well... You guessed it, we sat waiting for that too... At 8:45 we just asked the waitress to have that to go, she said it was already made and would bring it right out... You may have guessed it right again, they did not come right out O_o... 10 minutes later she returned with 1 of the dessert items we ordered and another that we didn't, wrapped to go. To clarify, we asked for 2 of the chocolate chip cookie desserts... We got one and then a to-go cheesecake, which ultimately is fine but I just wanted to mention it in this review :D I did give this experience a 1 star based SOLELY on that chocolate chip cookie dessert being absolutely FANTASTIC! Now, keep in mind, I'm not writing this just out of irritation but as a person who has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years. I have NEVER seen a worse example of terrible management and misguided staff (with exception of the bar as we did not order anything from it, so I can't speak regarding it)... We have been getting takeout here since covid started, but we have become really tired of looking at the inside of our house so we're venturing out. We decided to eat inside Chili's. Big mistake. They were soooo understaffed! I ordered the unlimited soup and salad. It took quite a while to get our order. I didn't like the chili that I had ordered and wanted something else. The salad was meh too so I wasn't eating that. I just wanted soup. But our waitress never returned! I sat there and watched my husband eat his dinner. Nobody even came close enough for us to flag them down. After my husband was done eating and I was still sitting there with most of a bowl of chili and half of a salad in front of me, I went up to the podium and asked if there was a manager I could talk to. She did end up comping my meal, but I would much rather have had the soup and salad! We'll still get takeout here but no more eating in. There just aren't enough people working there. read more
