The vibe is super good but I'm overall not terribly impressed with their food. We sat on the rooftop which was super cute and I liked. The pizza was...just okay. As was the flatbread. For what it cost it just didn't taste well made. We really liked the wings but I don't think I'd order pizza anymore. If your looking for a comfortable rooftop bar, tucked away in one of Raleigh's best neighborhoods, this one will hit the spot. Oddly enough they do have separate entrances for the rooftop bar, not only does it offer a large outdoor bar, there is a large interior bar as well. No Longer Worthy Of My Business Rudinos in Knightdale NC has daily specials. Knowing this I ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni figuring I would be able to take advantage of the special and have to pay additional for the adding of the pepperoni. I get to the store to pick up my pizza and look at the bill and the pizza is full price. So I ask the young lady what's going on. I'm first told that "when I ordered the pizza I had to ask for the special in order to get the price". That didn't make sense as that would be truly taking advantage of customers so I ask for the manager who told me "because I ordered the pizza with half pepperoni that voided the ability to get the discounted price associated with the special". Which also didn't make sense. I've been going to this location for years and had enjoyed their food but because of their shady business practices they now have in place I can no longer spend my money there. It is ABSOLUTELY disgusting what did. They couldn't even get their lies straight to justify their deceptive business practices. There was no need to get further upset because I can show you better than I can tell you Rudino's. I can NO longer support this business and would recommend others do the same. read more

Got the meat monster pizza and a Caesar salad. The pizza was bland and flavorless. The tomato sauce tastes like it's from a can and the meats lacked any semblance of flavor. The salad was unremarkable. The best thing in our entire order was the Parmesan cheese on the salad. At least the employees are nice. I stumbled upon this place after searching rooftop bars in the local area. The restaurant is on the second floor of the building, and it has outdoor seating--hence rooftop. When I was there, it wasn't crowded, and I had hoped that the service would be better. Met friends here and when we got our food one of my friends told the waitress she didn't receive her food yet . We waited about 20-30mins before she got her food and by that time we were all done eating . I told the waitress that's she isn't paying for that because she didn't get to eat with us and the bar manager that was working last night came out and said she can do half off or she can take the food back and that's the only way she would "get it free" her customer service skills we're not there and for you to take the food back due to your kitchen staff mess up is unprofessional. My family and I wanted pizza very late lol! And Rudino's was the only place that was open near us so we choose them! I am happy that we did. Rudino's is inside of a shopping center. There is plenty of parking so that shouldn't be an issue because it was late and they were getting ready to close there weren't very many people there so the parking was great. One thing that I didn't really like was google said that they closed at 2am. The restaurant part closes at 10 and then they have an upstairs bar area that closes at 2. So when we got there they were cleaning up the restaurant as if it were closed, we got there around 9:30pm. When we arrived there was a girl cleaning the floors and my husband asked if we could still order and she had to go and ask someone it was 9:30pm the place doesn't close until 10pm so I didn't understand why she needed to ask! The guy came up front and took our order, he didn't seem very enthusiastic about it! The pizza took about 20 mins to come out we also ordered boneless wings. The pizza was great but the wings were kind of salty! The restaurant was extremely clean and that was major plus! Overall we liked the pizza a lot and I am happy that we were able to try it! Some other place messed up my order soooo I had to buy food elsewhere and this was on places nearby on my app. Thought I purchased the small grinder but that baby was huge! Their small is 9", I got the Turkey on white bread with mayo Lettuce Tomato and mozzarella-provolone blend. With Oil & Vinegar, salt, pepper and pickles. Had to eat it in sessions. I never write reviews but my experience was horrible. I went there to get a few drinks, it wasn't crowded at all. It took the bartender 10 minutes to acknowledge my existence. When I asked for my drink, he told me he had to finish serving someone else. Two people sat right next to me and he immediately greeted them, asked for their drinks, AND made their drinks before mine. He saw the disappointment in my face and watched me walk out and didn't even care. Horrible place I would not recommend especially if you're a person of color. read more

Our first time eating at Rudinos was very uncomfortable and alienating. It took over 10 minutes for a waiter to come over to serve us. This was on a Wednesday evening around 8:30 when we arrived. We sat on the rooftop and there was just a handful of people there so no reason why we had to wait that long. Not ONE waiter greeted us or even looked our way with a welcoming smile. We were purposely being ignored at that point. After a while of waiting with no one even asking us if we had been served our waiter came over. I really didn't want to think that we were purposely being ignored because of our race (we were the only Black people on the rooftop who were customers) but the establishment was scarce that night so there was no other valid reason to not be acknowledged and serve in a timely manner. It's disappointing and degrading to be treated in such a manner in 2019! Just wow. I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable. People shouldn't be judged on the hue of their skin but that's not reality clearly with Rudinos. Please have your staff trained in some cultural competencies so that other guests of color are not treated the same and are treated with common decency and dignity. What a shame! I will be taking my money elsewhere. read more

My husband and I come here for the rooftop bar (the excellent food and drinks are just and added bonus, haha). We have been coming here for years, and all of the food items we have ordered are DELICIOUS! Our "go-to" is a California club grinder (we split a whole grinder, which is more than enough for two people). Their buffalo chicken pizza is really good as well. Their cheese breadsticks are out of this world (and crazy addictive, so be careful). They have a good beer selection, and daily drink specials as well. For the most part, the service has been great (sometimes the service seems a little slow on the weekends, but we are usually not in a rush anyways, since we go there when the weather is nice to enjoy the rooftop). Worst service I ever received in my life. When we first sat ourselves the 3 waitresses standing by our table seemed as if they didn't want to take our table. We waited 15-20 mins to place our drinks and another 20 mins to place our food order. Yet once this white guy sat next to us he was immediately serviced, attended to and was able to order and his drinks and food within 10 mins.
