Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambience: 3.5 Date/Time: 7/13/2023 7pm Order: Southwestern Wrap, Honey Mustard Chicken Grinder Crowd: empty This place has been around for awhile and sits on the corner facing Strickland. There are 2 entrances, one for the restaurant downstairs and one for the rooftop which are stairs leading up to it (not sure if it's accessible for anyone with a wheelchair or any other disability). The restaurant was low lit and a bit on the darker side but no one was there so maybe no need to light it up. Service was very good even with new staff as they were eager to help with any questions. The food came out in a reasonable time from ordering. Both the wrap and grinder was full of chicken and very tasty. And the fries were seasoned well. I'd recommend the restaurant as the food and service is good.

Ordered pepperoni pizza and got cheese. The chicken Cesar wrap was bad. And this was the portion size of the fries even though it was $3.25. Would never go back.

If your looking for a comfortable rooftop bar, tucked away in one of Raleigh's best neighborhoods, this one will hit the spot. Oddly enough they do have separate entrances for the rooftop bar, not only does it offer a large outdoor bar, there is a large interior bar as well. I was impressed with the size of the outdoor seating area, very comfortable, they do have fans and cooling towers for those heavy humid days. Cheers!

My family and I wanted pizza very late lol! And Rudino's was the only place that was open near us so we choose them! I am happy that we did. Rudino's is inside of a shopping center. There is plenty of parking so that shouldn't be an issue because it was late and they were getting ready to close there weren't very many people there so the parking was great. One thing that I didn't really like was google said that they closed at 2am. The restaurant part closes at 10 and then they have an upstairs bar area that closes at 2. So when we got there they were cleaning up the restaurant as if it were closed, we got there around 9:30pm. When we arrived there was a girl cleaning the floors and my husband asked if we could still order and she had to go and ask someone it was 9:30pm the place doesn't close until 10pm so I didn't understand why she needed to ask! The guy came up front and took our order, he didn't seem very enthusiastic about it! The pizza took about 20 mins to come out we also ordered boneless wings. The pizza was great but the wings were kind of salty! The restaurant was extremely clean and that was major plus! Overall we liked the pizza a lot and I am happy that we were able to try it! I think I would like to go back but during the day!

Great pizza rolls, good service, nice please for a quick lunch! My boss took me here for a working lunch and I ended up with left overs for dinner lol

The only good things I can say about this place is the outdoor area is nice (even if it doen't exactly have a great view) and the service was good. I ordered pizza, because this is a pizza place, so I was hopeful that it would be good (even though we are in the south). Nope. Typical southern pizza with a soft flimsy crust (that probably isn't even made here), sweet sauce, and enough cheese to gag a person. I'd give the place another try, because I saw other food come out that looked much better than my pizza, and I'll update my review then.

I dropped by one afternoon to check out this new pub in North Raleigh and I was delighted to find…read morehow cozy it was and how hospitable and sweet the owners, Kevin and Stephanie, are. The decor in The Winchester Pub is unique in the fact that they don't have all the stereotypical, tacky beer signage that others have and the bar is completely handmade by Kevin himself (it's gorgeous). Their selection of beers on tap is primo -- you won't see any of the over-served blah beers of other bars. Instead, you'll find a finely curated selection that boasts a variety of tastes. If you're not into beer, there are also a few bottles of wine you can choose to have a glass of. There's a small selection of canned brews you can purchase from the display case in the front of the pub, back of the pub, and in the refrigerated unit in the rear, as well as cider, spiked coffee malt beverages, alcoholic seltzers, and beer kegs. Surprisingly, there's even some bagged coffee! If you fancy bringing some pub merch home, there are branded mugs for sale. Above the bar, there are mounted TV screens, perfect for enjoying local sports games (especially European soccer matches on the weekends). Plenty of backed barstools surround the bar, and there's a line of round, leather-topped stools along the back wall. If stools aren't your cup of tea, there are two cozy leather couches you can lounge on: one in the front (by the entrance) and one in the back (next to a pool table)! If you're not craving any booze, there's a water cooler in the front of the pub and canned sodas in the fridge (Sprite and Coke). If you're feeling playful, there are couple of board games on the one of the beer display shelves by the entrance (beneath the framed red jersey). I'm more of a cider kind of girl, so Kevin suggested a fantastic, locally-owned cider out of Pittsboro, NC: "Chatham Cider Works Highway 64". It was sweet, light, bubbly, and strong, especially at 10% ABV (so, watch out!). My husband and I both sampled the "Fullsteam Igor Cake" Pastry Stout (9% ABV), which was super sweet. Hubby ended up ordering the "Casita Home Sweet Home" Imperial Stout (10% ABV), which had a cake-like flavor, was super smooth, and not too sweet. No foods are currently served here, but there are some snacks for sale behind the bar and you are more than welcome to bring in your own noms to accompany any drinks your order. From the cooler, I bought and tried: - Brown Bomber Mocha Hard Latte - flavored malt beverage (5% ABV) made with 100% Arabica coffee and milk. It's recommended to shake well and serve over ice. It was soooo creamy, chocolatey, and delicious -- you can't even tell that there is alcohol in it! - Brown Bomber Vanilla Hard Latte - same as the previous, but vanilla-flavored - Sound Craft Rosé Seltzer (5% ABV) - super smooth and tasting of freshly pressed blackberries, I could not tell that there was alcohol in it! If you're looking for a cozy spot to throw back a pint as you unwind from work, you've found the perfect place!

Despite arriving over an hour before the match started, every seat at the bar was already taken. And there are no tables so if you aren't fortunate enough to get a bar seat, you're SOL. I saw one or two bar patrons eyeing me weirdly, like I was invading their home space. So I decided to just leave. Per the online menu, they do have over a dozen drafts available, but I didn't get to try any of them. So disappointing.

The fries that came with it were delicious, crunchy and fresh. Both of the pizzas were very cheesy and tasty. Nice viewing area & brewing room potential to rent sq footage for an event. Dynamite smiling face behind the bar. Happy, pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable. A kitchen that's being rented to a mixed variety food menu. We had Gyros. Great quality & great size. Ordering was seamless. They had a little something for everyone. Think food truck without the wheels! Love that they offer 2 on tap ciders (guest taps) and 2 NA options. Things to improve- All breweries do trivia, bingo & karaoke. What's something that is identifying to CRB? Just seems a bit stale to be polite. Loved their live music and guest monthly schedule. Several of the beer (specifically the coffee porter & honey wheat) were high IBU in turn being very bitter. We wanted to love the wheat and the coffee porter but both left us longing for better. So if we are a brewery... be great at that. Why are we a full service liquor bar too? A few options to appease everyone but we were surprised at the bourbon choices. Not only does it look cluttered, it clearly was selected by someone who has a preference for liquor/bourbon vs. a brew master. Maybe do a rotating cocktail list or 4-6 out of this world drinks and cut the rest. Drink prices at this price should not have pre done sour mix in them. Quality liquor should mean quality ingredients too. Big thumbs down on that. We did love the mimosa cocktail idea and the beer-rita with the use of CBR beer. Sames from 6 years ago- Chairs still suck. Parking is a little bit of an adventure but not sure there is a solution but rather just something to plan ahead for. No niche beer... still. We had their newish beers in each category. Overall... Scottish is still a solid choice. Lack of identity/theme/flagship beer (although we were told their IPA was?) Overall this place could be rocking 7 days a week! It's a good place to run by after work or gather a group and play card games, have access to a nibble & drink.

Parking is okay, spots are a tad bit limited but we found a spot just fine mid-day. Outside, there is a play area for kids across from the bar. We wanted to sit outside but it was pretty busy with families so we opted for indoor seating. The inside is pretty open and spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered a flight which was a great way to sample some of the selection. Overall, the beers were good, but not memorable. There was karaoke when we went. It was quite loud and we ended up having to shout at each other to hear one another. Again, this was mid-day, so it was odd to have karaoke going. There were quite a few kids running around, too. One of my biggest complaints about bars in this area is that too many allow kids. My husband and I are DINKS and would love to find a place that's adults-only but it's kind of hard to come by these days. I also personally think it's safer to just leave the kids at home if you're under the influence but that's just my two cents. If you are the type to bring the whole family to the bar for day drinking, you'll enjoy Compass Rose. I think I'll try them again but I'm still on the search for an authentic no-kids allowed bar. Maybe next time, I'll sit in the actual brewery section and see how that goes.
