It wasn't even packed. Like, how or why was I ignored for so long? OK so I walked into this place at 2:39pm on Friday and stood in the front waiting to be seated for 5 minutes. That's okay I figured the greeters must be busy no big deal. So they sit me down around 2:45, and I browse the menu. There was a family and 2 couples in the area where I was seated and I saw the waitress moving about doing her job. I finished looking at the menu and decided on my meal around 3:00pm. I completely forgot that nobody had even asked for my drink? When it occurred to me that I was being ignored for some reason I started looking around and noticed that the waitress was in fact attending other tables and walking to the back frequently. I pulled out my phone and browsed reddit for while, surely they'll come and take my drink order pretty soon right? Well, wrong: it was now 3:10 and I'm now completely aware that the staff hate me for some inexplicable reason. I was on my lunch break and only had an hour to eat. Normally poor restaurant service doesn't really get to me but honestly this time I had anxiety just thinking about a plan B for my now-halfway finished lunch break. I stood up and left at 3:15pm and had to degrade myself to grabbing fast food and eating at my desk. I frequently visit this location with my family. The last 3 times the food was good, our servers were friendly (although not particularly chatty), and we received our orders quickly. The last 3 times, though, we've also been greeted (if you could call it a greeting) and seated by the same hostess, and she (shorter girl with big, high bun) was awfully unpleasant. For example: tonight when we entered she just looked, grabbed menus and hardly asked, "2?" while motioning us over to a booth. She then sat us and walked away without another word. Later, I almost bumped into her on our way out and she just kept walking and muttered, "bye". Well we will never be returning her on a Friday again as well as a Sunday, we used to love this chili's location until a recent Sunday when are Bar Tender was shutting down the bar at 7 pm ! And totally ignored us, well let's say the same Lady Bar tends on Friday nights she has the worst attitude and service she for our order wrong and didn't even check on us! Mind you the bar was not that busy at our time there. I don't know how any type of management allows that, poor service and awful experience we may give this place one more chance in hopes to regain the experiences we used to have but we will not be returning to Sandy if she is there we will be requesting anywhere not in that section. I knew when I walked in the restaurant on west charleston in Las Vegas nv last night about 5:40 and the booths and the seats were filthy. I asked the hosted to clean it. She never came back. We sat there at least 10 minutes asking for a glass of water and some service but one would even come to the table. and then after a while I gave up ! Since I am handicap I can not get up and hunt down a server We decided to leave and on the way out I explained to the hostess that we could not get any service and we were going to leave and she said oh ok!!! Is this how you handle your customer service ? I am very disappointed! I guess one customer means nothing to you. Is this the way your employees are trained? There were not one employee that was rude but all that I spoke to I wanted to make you aware of these issues Sorry for your issues. Hope you can fix them. I know I am done coming there. I'm a regular at this location, but it gets harder and harder with each visit. The help turns over a lot and I'd finally figured out what servers that are less than courteous and make an honest effort to do their job efficiently work and avoid going in on those night. Today I was too tired to leave when I got that gem of a server. So I tried. But low and behold 2 hours later I finally leaving one person and I never waited less than 15 minutes when requesting anything, beverages were poorly made. Talk about a great employee! Amy was taking care of me at the bar today. I asked about their margaritas and when I said I wasnt fond of sweet & sour she offered to make me a fresh one from scratch. It was delicous! The thing that impressed me most is the level of customer service even though she appeared to be taking care of not only the bar but multiple booths and tables surrounding it! Feom the bar I noticed her thouroughly explaining the menu and offwrinf suggestions. The girl can move! I heard a couple tables say goodbye to her by name, assuming theyre regulars of hers. Chili's is the new go to for my husband and I on a Friday night. The fajitas are delicious and you can't beat the $5 margaritas. The service is always very good too. We go to many restaurants throughout town, but we always seem to keep coming back to Chili's for a nice evening out. read more

Disappointed. The chili was greasy. Fries were barely warm. The waitress was very friendly & efficient. But the hostess was a grouch & snapped at me when I asked where the restroom was, as though I was supposed to know. (She was pregnant, so maybe can overlook that.). The strawberry lemonade was good, although weak flavor, & guacamole was good. It was loud & noisy, if that's what you like. Been to this Chili's a couple of times. Sometimes we've gotten good service but the last 2 times we've been there have been horrible horrible horrible. Last time we were there my mom had a sandwich and it tasted like burnt oil off the grill with every bite. The waitress took it off the bill but then our lunch menu items weren't entered correctly.. We brought it up to her and she didn't believe us so she went to go look at the menu when we felt like it was something she should have known already. Saw that we were right and then she went to go fix it. We were there for far too long because she took forever to come check on us and then to adjust all the prices.. Then today we walked in and waited at the door and no one ever came to greet us or seat us. So we ended up seating ourselves at the bar area. The bartender made eye contact with us and never greeted us. We waited and waited and eventually started a timer because no one EVER came to greet us or give us menus! Eventually after a while we just left. It was ridiculous what kind of service is that? It's a restaurant so we expected to at least be greeted eventually and never did we get greeted.. read more

I will never return to this chilis again!!! Valerie our waitress was by far the worst and I have never been so insulted in my life by anyone like her . I told her that she wasn't very attentive to our table and we needed the soup warmer the wings were under cooked and my chicken on my salad wasn't cooked good and her response was well your kids were screaming !!! I'm sitting here right now and am receiving terrible service. Our server never looked looked us in the eye, we ate all of our appetizers with empty drinks (no refills), he never ordered my margarita, never brought me a side of honey mustard, and after waiting 20 minutes after finishing we had to ask another server for boxes and our check. It clearly seemed like our server was over his shift and ready to be cut. As a server, myself, I've never written a bad Yelp review but this is the worst service I've ever had. My husband and I wanted to eat somewhere with good food that wasn't too expensive. We've had great experiences with other Chilli's locations in the past and decided to try this one since we were on this side of town. It wasn't too busy when we came in and we're immediately seated. We were seated for a minute or two before our server, Louis, came but and got our drink order. It took her less than five minutes to get our drinks to us which was great. She then took our order and told us that it would be out as soon as possible. In the time it took for our food to cook, I drained my strawberry lemonade and the hostess had a new cup to me before the ice had reached the bottom of the glass. Our food came out and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I, being eight months pregnant, had ordered the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla. I took one bite and immediately hated it. I'm usually the type of person that just deals with it but I just could not stomach this quesadilla. There generally wasn't anything wrong with it, it just didn't sit well with me. My husband noticed my hesitation and said that he would ask if we could replace it. Louis said she would bring her manager over as soon as possible. While we waited, Steph, a server for the other tables, asked if everything was okay. When told the situation, she went straight to the back and brought the manager right up. The manager quickly replaced the food without a problem and gave me a minute to look at the menu. My replacement order was brought out very quickly. The overall experience was wonderful. Poor service once again, several empty tables, so it's not that busy where we should be ignored by our waiter. When my drink is empty I consider it a bad thing. My son' drink was emptied half way through his meal, we would have ordered him more but we never saw the waiter. Steve was in attentive and as we finished out meal all four if our glasses were empty. When it came out I was really concerned with why a half a rack is $10, and there was literally no meat on my ribs and the whole half a rack was so small. As a veteran, I have enjoyed a free meal at Chili's three years in a row. They were very kind to my veteran friend and myself. It was a very good meal and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it, although I didn't pay for this trip. I had chili, and so did my friend. I thought it had too much cumin, and too much chili powder. My friend thought that it did not have enough of either. Personal choice. I am looking forward to going back so I can try the Chinese (Oriental) Chicken Salad. My girlfriend and I have been dining at this location for several years, usually on Thursday for the $5 presidente margarita with dinner. We love the bartender, Keith, and our favorite server, Vanessa. We hadn't been for a few months so were like looking forward to dinner. We ordered dinner: I had an over cooked quesadilla and my girlfriend had combo chicken dinner. The chicken was way undercooked, and very pink, so she sent the dinner back to the kitchen. The manager came by and said a new dinner was being prepared for her. The new dinner was served and my friend removed the French fries container off the platter to the table so we could share. When she removed the container there was a black hair on the platter where the French fry container had been sitting. Was the hair put there on purpose because she sent her first dinner back? The hair would not have been seen if she hadn't moved the French fries container. Yuck! I am suspicious but of course can't prove it was on purpose. I went to the Chili's at: 9051 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89117 last night at about 9:46 pm. I was going there for an appetizer and a drink. I would have to say that I received the worst service from your bartender there than I have ever in my life and I'm 49 years old. First of all there were still empty bottles and drinks all over the bar when I walked in. I was not greeted at all until about 5-10 mins after seating myself. Finally getting a bartender and a menu. I'm looking at the menu and asking questions about the wings and beer and I look up AND SHE HAD LEFT!.So I'm literally talking to myself. I don't know whether she was smoking or what but I didn't see any service person for a while. I saw who I thought was the Manager and he looked at me twice with no greeting or asking me if I'm alright or can I get you something. I basically had to chase the bartender down. No refills no "how's your food" NOTHING!. No smiles just crappy service. I will not be returning and will be leaving this same info on Yelp and Facebook read more

We ate here last night and I will never go back. The restaraunt was somewhat busy, but nothing too crazy. Maybe only half full. We only ordered a burger, a chicken wrap and 2 kid grilled cheeses. We waited over an hour for our food! The waiter, although very nice guy, was very slow and seemed overwhelmed. By the time we finally got our food, paid and left we had been there 2 hours. We had others things planned and did not have time to sit there for that long. Plus we had two restless kids with us, so I need somewhat speedy service. Service is just way too slow at that place. I was really mad by the time I left, and it takes a lot to get me that way as I am normally very patient and understanding. But that was just ridiclous. This place had the worse service EVER!!! Waiting on waitress for more than 10 mins just to say hi and ask for drink order. Then waited another 15 mins for her to ask her manager about an appetizer cuz she wasn't sure at all. Took 30 mins to get a refill on our drinks.the time we were seated there was 4-5 tables not cleaned the entire time we had already been seated all the way till we left. Never again at this location. Should probably change the sign on the door that says they close at 10:30 on weeknights. Came in tonight at 9:50 with a takeout order, no one at the front to greet, bartender let me know that they were closing soon, so I only had a little time to order (again, a take out meal, not like I was staying for the alleged 30ish remaining minutes), ordered chicken enchilada soup of which there was none. Finally ordered a salad and sat at the bar to wait. No offer of water or anything while I waited. Food came pretty quickly, but it's just a salad so that wasn't unexpected.
