I wish I had asked his name but the receipt says "cashier Bryan" so I'm not sure that is his name. He worked Sunday night and we were there about 5:30-7:30. He is able to read the people at his table and come check on them at exactly the right times. Our salsa was constantly filled, water always available, and asked if we needed anything else at just the right times. It was a great experience and I would say it was thanks to him. Yes it's crowded and yes it's noisy... but the food here is so good that I'd come again and again even with those annoyances! We had a reservation at 6 and arrived early... we didn't get seated until 6:30 because they were just crazy busy! But once we sat down the service was pretty fast. Chips and dips came in no time and our server was ready to take our order. My friends who had been here many times recommended their carnitas and guacamole- both were great. The service is on point and you never have a glass empty without offer of another drink and water is constantly filled. The food is elevated and prepared perfectly. The garlic prawns were delicate and tender in an amazing butter and garlic sauce that was worthy of dragging a tortilla or two through just to get it all. It is ala carte so you need to order rice and tortillas on the side. I didn't need to as I shared with my wife as she ordered the steak fajitas that came with beans and tortillas. Next time would order some rice as well. It does come with a price tag that I felt a side of rice should have been included. We were able to save a small space for dessert and ordered the flan. It's definitely one of the best flan I have ever had. It was different as it was much denser than I have had before. It was so good I know I will definitely order again! They also included a lil ice cream with the flan for birthday celebration. This is my only complaint and why I gave four stars and not five. I had ordered a Diet Coke it was served in a small glass bottle. When I was asked if I would like another I said yes please, it was not mentioned to me that it would be an additional charge (other location has same small glass bottle and no charge was added) I guess I should have asked but at $9.00 I didn't expect to be charged another $9.00. WOW! Having never heard of this restaurant until recently, I was skeptical as I thought Amaya (also in Vegas) was the best Mexican food I had ever tasted. Turns out Amaya has some competition! Javier's and Amaya are tied, in my opinion, as so e of the best Mexican food out there. Yes, I am aware these restaurants are not considered "authentic" Mexican but I do not care as I do not find authentic Mexican food all that great. Javier's and Amaya are what I would call modern, upscale Mexican cuisine. Here's what to expect: high quality ingredients, very flavorful and the food is light, not heavy. The portions aren't small but they are nit huge either. They are a decent portion for what you pay. The ambiance and design are absolutely beautiful and the service (at least in this location) is excellent. If I had one complaint it would be the noise level. I found this location to be EXTREMELY loud. I could barely talk and hear my family members at the table. Other than that, it was an amazing experience and I can't wait to try the new Pasadena location! Been coming here once a month for over 16 years since they first opened. And 99% of the time the experience is fantastic. Fantastic food and excellent and fast service. However, tonight, sitting at the bar after ordering an appetizer and an entrée and a drink, I ordered a dessert as well. 35 minutes went by with no dessert and no acknowledgment by the bartenders whatsoever. Finally, I had to flag down a bartender to let them know it's been over 35 minutes and my dessert never came out. It was literally ice cream. It takes about 30 seconds. I told the bartender to forget it I didn't want it anymore and to just close me out. I don't know who messed up, but my guess is that the bartender may have forgot to put it in or didn't put it in, but of course would not admit that. Mistakes happen, however what shocked me was that I was offered no compensation whatsoever for the time wasted and not having fulfilled what I ordered. Not that I expect anything for free, but I certainly would've expected an offer to go and get it and bring it out on the house or perhaps even a complementary drink. Highly suggest making a reservation for any visit. My hubby and I shared the trio of seafood enchiladas (crab, shrimp, lobster) as the reviews highly touted this dish and it was really delicious. Each one was prepared perfectly and paired with its own sauce. The flavors of each had me craving for more. A side order of rice was perfect to go along with it. The rice was wonderful too--fluffy and flavorful. Friends ordered salads, the fish of the day special and fajitas. Everyone loved their meals. I would certainly like to return because of the deliciousness of the food. I want to try other things on the menu! It's definitely a vacation splurge, because it is a very expensive place to dine. At least the chips and salsa are complimentary, whereas some places are now charging for them! The music was loud and almost overpowering. Now to the food, I tried to Cadillac Margarita and the chicken enchiladas with a side of rice and beans for an extra $7. My drink was just okay. It was nothing special nor do I feel as if it was worth the $23 I paid for it. It was almost overly sweet. Would not get it again. Sexy dark ambiance...perfect for a date night. We just loved the design of this restaurant. Walking through to find the restroom were amazed by the distinct wall features. Very nice. Our server, I believe his name was Eric, was attentive and amazing as well. We were seated in the back of the restaurant at a booth and a family came in shortly after us with a dog not a service dog, but one of those really big poodles and sat them right beside us. My husband and bff have really bad pet allergies so after making our server aware of this and requesting to move, he actually came and moved the family with the dog which alone gives him 5 stars. Chips and Salsa to start. The salsa had a smoky flavor and was spicy. A bit too spicy for me but it was good. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Surprising I probably could've finished my meal but I think my better half was already looking forward to my leftovers hahahaaa! Shrimp enchiladas and a shrimp taco with Spanish rice and refried beans delicious! We ended our meal with churros/ice cream and coffee. Definitely give this place a try if you're craving Mexican. If we ever venture back to Aria, it's because they have a restaurant we want to come back to! ;) Happy Yelping! read more

The service and food were excellent. Everything tasted fresh and leveled up in flavors. I ordered the relleno picadillo and it was so cozy and perfectly executed. All that said it is so so loud in there. I could barely hear my table mates let alone the servers. Don't expect to come here for a chill vibe, you will be screaming at the top of your lungs to be heard lol. read more
