Honestly, I have met a rude worker in this job by the name of Colson. He didn't seem to do his job quite professionally as he didn't properly attend my family and I. He was so quick to attend our tables and then leave. His attitude seemed too serious instead of welcoming. I have an eye for people and I can instantly tell when someones vibes are set off or if they're not a well mannered person. I brought my 85 year old mother here May 8th for a hamburger. We ordered two hamburgers, one coffee, and one soda which was never refilled. The total bill was $40.75 My mother paid with her credit card. We were billed $40.75 PLUS a second charge of $145.51 in a second billing. I returned to the store May 8th to talk with the manager "Steve," he was able to locate the store's receipt for the $40.75, but found NO receipt for the $145.51 He told me there was nothing he could do, and to wait for the $145.51 charge to "drop off" our bill. He could have credited our card back the fraudulent charges. We've had to cancel the credit card to dispute the fraudulent charges. Chili's is the "outsidesitdown" place to go. Parking is NP and near the tented area to await seating. There's many shaded-seats available around 5PM. I wasn't sure to make a review or not but I'm still bothered about the service I had on Sunday evening! Well my friends and I sat at the bar the bartender Luis had told us it was his first day working the bar, okay no worries we have patience... Well let's just say this kid tried his best but was set up to fail. Plenty of staff working but they stand in corner on phones, or talking amongst each other. The lead or manager not sure no one was wearing name tags was worst of them all. It started when we were greeted and the young lady was super friendly. The second young lady who greeted me was super friendly as well and knew I talked to Joseph. I had a good dinner with my friends here yesterday and our kids. The staff seem to work together really good and they're all very kind. The food is ok depending on what you order, my kid says stay away from the chicken and I get her opinion unless you get boneless wings those were delightful even later! The fajita plate was missing all of the fixings and we had to ask for it when I flagged him down. Sent them back and that took another 30 minutes just for them to bring out more undercooked ribs. We ordered honey chipotle boneless wings, they brought us the wrong wings which had bbq sauce poured on top, not even tossed in the sauce. Took about 25 minutes just to receive our drinks. In the past I have had decent experiences here, but today not so much. I get the carne asada- the trio deal. Well I am eating the appetizer waiting for my food- the server checked on us right away then not again for quite sometime. During which - my food came and I had no silverware. Well I kept trying to see the server but she was now training someone. Most excellent customer service from Rachel! Everything was wonderful. She took our drink orders straight off hurried right back with them I barely had time to be thirsty! My group had several dietary needs and special menu requests all of which she handled like the pro she obviously is. She answered all our questions guiding us to the right sections of the menu to get exactly what we wanted. Our food came out fast, fresh and hot, made exactly to order. After our dinner we closed our section down as we had come from long distance to meet up at that location but there was no pressure to hurry, drink refills were plentiful and cleaning around us was unobtrusive. First they did not prepare the nachos correctly, first mistake they offered to fix, but then the second remake was not the way it was ordered either! Yes, we are a a large group, but we are pretty understanding... 4 of the 12 dinners were brought out first, the adults first. The other 8 guests had to wait for their food until nearly the first 4 were done. The nachos took 3 tries and they were so late that we ended up asking for them To go. The first thing you need to know about Chili's for Lodi, California is that it is open later than most restaurants in the area--until 11 PM on Saturday nights. The next thing you need to know is that they serve Coca-Cola products with Coke Zero, my favorite beverage. Don't try and use the electric menu for ordering. It's burdensome and I couldn't order a soft drink from it. You can however, look at the news from USA Today including the weather. In the bar area (if you can ignore the overall dirty nature of the floor and sticky tables) there are five television sets on the wall which is nice for viewing sports. The Food: The California Flatbread came out overcooked again meaning burnt on some of the edges. This is the second time I visited this restaurant and on both occasions it was over-cooked, as were the big bites (sliders). The staff was courteous and friendly. It seems that they may be understaffed given the number of clients at the time of day. We were here around 10 to 10:45 PM. So if you're willing to lower your expectations, you do have a place to go in Lodi, California after 9:00 PM at night on a weekend. Night before my kids would be traveling back to Las Vegas. Wanted to go to School Street Bistro... but they shut the doors BEFORE their stated closing time of 8:30pm. I had the Starter of Texas Cheese Fries - Fries smothered with Cheese, Sliced Jalapenos, Bacon and some sauce to dip the Fries in. Seemed like nuked-over Fries... just a suspicion. My ol' lady ordered the appetizer sampler and I myself ordered the Santa Fe Chicken salad and after 45 minutes of waiting I had already drank all my water and the waitress didn't even bother to refill it til we were both finished with our meals. However our meals were fairly decent even though my salad was drenched in ranch when I specifically mentioned no dressing. Fortunately they have kiosks on each table that let you pay for your meal when your finished and it also lets you rate your experience.
