Tuesday evening (late night) I went to Dennys and ordered the Pot Roast Melt (I believe it is named something else now, but I got the pot roast sandwich). Anyways it was absolutely amazing. It totally hit the spot. Not only was the food delicious tonight but i also enjoy the special on the weekends when they have chicken noodle soup. I enjoy ordering the soup and grilled cheese sandwich. I ask for less cheese and the bread to be extra crispy but it's so good a the soup hits the spot everytime also. During the winter months I think I order this weekly. Friday I believe it's available also so I'll be going tomorrow I'm sure. read more

The hamburger was delicious and it was huge enough for two people. Also, the 55 and over wildcat salmon was incredible and the prices are so reasonable. The surface was great and there's lots of room to sit. My friend says it's one of the best Denny's around because of the great chefs. read more

I visited this Denny's location on Sunday, 9/17/23, around 2 a.m. It appeared to be busy, but I was able to sit down very quickly. I decided to order the Buffalo Boneless Wings, Moons Over My Hammy Omelette with Hashbrowns, and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. The smoothie was refreshing and the food was average/tolerable. The server did forget to bring a side of toast with the omelette. When I got the check, I requested the toast to be packed in a to-go box. Denny's is convenient to go for food for a late-night bite. Location is right off the interstate. We had a little bit of a wait bc it was very busy which I guess is a good thing. The waitress was so nice and very attentive. Dennys website offered $10 off for orders of $30 or more. It was a big advertisement. When we mentioned the offer, we were told that we needed the UPC code to get the offer (we didn't see anywhere in the add that a UPC was needed). My wife went on her phone to Denny's website, trying to find the code. When she couldn't find it, I tried. Finally I found it and handed my phone to the cashier. He says that it won't read it. We chose Denny's over IHOP because of the offer. And we ordered based on the expectation of getting $10 off. We didn't get the deal. The cashier seemed genuinely apologetic, but we would have preferred the offer to be honored. If they were customer oriented, they would have the UPC printed and by their cash register. I didn't leave a tip, and usually I'm a generous tipper. Later, I felt regret, because it wasn't the waitresses fault. But after the frustration and feeling of being tricked, I wasn't feeling very generous. read more

We stopped in at the Lodi Denny's off interstate 5 to take a break from driving and to get breakfas. Ericka seated us quickly, took our drink order, and got it to us in short order despite being the only server for many other tables. It did take awhile for her to get back for our order due to delivering other tables' food, topping off drinks, getting to-go boxes, and taking payments. We frequent this location because it's of large size and typically not that busy. However, it does need to be deep cleaned inside and out. The food is good but pricey as heck! Of course, this is a chain so it's going to be like this across the board at Denny's but they need to figure something out for diner food. Right now they have "rewards" for 20% off of a bill (max $10), that I feel is so limiting given the pricing of items on their menu. Went to this location this past Monday morning for breakfast. Service was good. My wife ordered an omelette with toast. When the toast came out, we thought that it had cheese on it. Overloaded with way to much butter. I use less butter than that when I cook pancakes for three of us at home. She ended up scraping off more than half the butter before eating the bread. read more

Basically right when we came in we didn't get acknowledged until like 8-10 minutes later. when we sat down a server didn't come to our table for about 20 minutes. and the entire time she had an attitude. After we ordered drinks they didn't come out for another 20 ish minutes. and food was definitely sitting in the window for about 25-30 minutes. the cook was ringing the bell and she kept walking by ignoring that our food was in the window. she kept repeatedly going over to the music box and changing songs. looked like she was flirting with the orange hair girl...she didn't come and check on us after we got our food at all. I'm a regular customer here. Most of the time everything is great. But increasingly as of late, the customers are rude and out of control. And nobody does anything about it. Tonight I was subject to drunk people screaming as loud as they possibly can. Then they yelled for the waitress to crank up the jukebox that was playing music in a language that I don't understand. Did anyone tell them to stop screaming? No, they cranked up the music instead. As they continued whooping and screaming like animals. No exaggeration.
