We came here during our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge as it's right down the road (convenient!). We got sat fast and served even faster. I got the fajita trio and it was to die for. We are staying the night at great wolf lodge, which is a hop, skip, and a jump away from Chilis. We decided to skip the over priced food for the 10.99 3 for me deal. Our food was perfect and correct. But the service...wow! Hugo was our server and he was so attentive, kind and excited. He truly made our dinner experience great! Like most restaurants they suffer with lack of staffing and because of this we plan our trips accordingly as in either early or late week day dinner. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Tuesday night and the place was only partially full. Due to lack of staffing we had to wait about 15-min before being seated. Once seated, service was prompt friendly and accurate. We chose a couple of the 3-items dinners and did ALL the add ons, upgrade to a beer & margarita along with an added cheesecake and a kids meal. Signed in and got free Queso, chips & salsa and our bill came to $40!!! After our dinners were served, the babes exclaimed loudly that we ordered too much food! The Hubbs loved the chicken enchilada soup and ate half his burger with my corn on the Cobb. The babes ate part of my potato soup, chips and her corn on the Cobb. I ate my buffalo chicken sandwich, the chicken was crispy and hot, the buffalo sauce was mild. The next day for lunch, the Hubbs had the other half of his burger and fries, Babes ate all her chicken Alfredo pasta and I had the rest of the Queso sauce. We also like the Cajun shrimp pasta and molten lava cakes. This is very reasonably priced kid friendly dining. We stick to the classics; burgers, sandwiches and chicken tenders which are actually made in house and you can't beat it. So I wanted to enjoy my outdoor dining experience and was excited to be able to dine outdoors again after yet another Covid lockdown. Unfortunately Chili's left so much to be desired. It was so not what I had expected, granted things are different now that the pandemic has happened and I understand that things will not be the same as they were before. Sadly Chili's is understaffed right now and their was one waiter covering a entire tent of 8 tables and six tables outside of the tent. There was a buzzer helping with drinks and seating people but unfortunately it left long delays on drink refills, getting sauces (ketchup) for the French fries etc. The food itself was not hot when it arrived though it did come out fairly quickly considering there was only one waiter. Let me be clear, the waiter was set up for failure due to table and waiter ratio but he had no pep in his step or bustle to his hustle. I chose the loaded baked potato soup and I would highly recommend. It has lots of potato bits and was hot when served, definitely my favorite dish. For my entree I got the ultimate Cajun shrimp pasta. The bread that came with the pasta was good, but I felt the pasta needed a bit more flavor and could've been a bit more creamy. 1.the greeter sat us. Then a couple after us like 2 minutes later, the waiter came and got our drink orders, then went to the other table with the couple. The woman must have known the waiter because they talked for quite awhile. He took there order. With limited choices in San Joaquin, I've ordered from here so many times lol. I've had the sirloin and ribeye steaks, smokehouse combos, the Cajun chicken pasta, and their appetizer trio. I have eaten in person once or twice. Mostly order via their app or DoorDash. Recently had the smokehouse combo with honey-chipotle ribs and chicken crispers, brisket quesadillas, street corn and fries. This usually takes 2-3 meals to finish it all. It's a really good value for the price. The only thing I have a comment on is the ribs. It's a bit dry. Other than that everything else was good. A big fan of their chips and salsa lol. The food and service were good but we had an issue with adding add-ons to our meal. We added on I think the (volcano chocolate cake?) and it was more than if we were to order it without using the add-on choice. Can't remember the prices but it was about $4-7 ordering it alone and it was around $11 using the add-on option. Just be careful to check your receipt when you order and be wary of the add-on choices and prices. But other than that it was a good experience. read more

Wife and I came for dinner on a Friday evening. Got a seat away from bar area and was nice and quieter. Started off fine with chips and guacamole. Great thin chips. Spouse ordered the hamburger which she said was hot, juicy, and tasty. Portion was large and she sliced burger in half and offered rest to me. I declined as I had ordered the Classic rib eye dinner, and wanted to enjoy my medium rare steak. The steak came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Covered with a butter sauce, it looked very appetizing. Cutting into the steak, it was a good medium rare. On first bite, I found it warm and juicy. However, it was a bit chewy and tough. I tried a few more slices, turning the steak around to see if other sides were more tender. I could see the grain along the sides of the steak. Cutting across the grain made it a bit more palatable, but still chewy! If it was really ribeye steak, wouldn't I see the ends of the fibers on top and possibly the rib cap as well. Don't waste your time, this was a good place to go but over the years they have gone down hill. Staff lacks communication and the place is disorganized. Went in tonight to get a nice meal with the family and after we communicated to the hostess, she was nice to wipe the table down but didn't speak to the team on the bar side and some walked passed us and took our table. Wife tried to explain but the kid asked the person that seat down if he sat there first and said it was first come first serve . Horrible I just told my wife to left it go and after trying to communicate to the staff, they all seem confused. So I left with my family and take our money elsewhere.
