The server was very friendly, but did not provide good service. She wasn't the one to deliver the food & she never checked on us. I came here during a late afternoon on the weekday with my husband. We were instantly greeted and seated within a couple minutes of arriving. We ordered the southwest egg roll and honey Chipotle sizzlers for the appetizers. But appetizers were absolutely delicious. Although I wish the food came was served to us a little more fresh and warm. For our entree we ordered shrimp fajitas which was absolutely delicious and fresh. I've been to my local Chili's is located on Boston Post Road near the Connecticut Post Mall a few times now. The food is usually pretty good. Today was no different. I ordered the big smasher burger with the 3 For Me deal which starts at 10.99. It was cooked throughly and had lots of pickles though I did give them away! For the table as the deal includes, we got chips and the dip trio which include guacamole, queso and salsa at your request. We also got the Nashville Hot Fried Mozzarella which were very good and actually had the cheese pull it's went viral for! It was clean for the most part, just a few crumbs here and there when you walked to the table. Pretty packed but it is Sunday! My only issue today was service. I've never had it happen before but I guess maybe they were short staffed? Though my server was hard to get a hold at times. I did notice it was to other tables as well. I hadn't had chilis in quite a while and was interested in trying it again. I was so happy to see that they have chili again! I liked it a lot and my boneless chicken tenders were pretty good as well. Our waitress was amazing, too. She was so friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. When I was half done with my club soda, she brought me a refill without even asking. When a waitress does things without even asking, that is how you know they're good. I tried this location again after a BAD take out experience. I'll say, we were pleasantly surprised. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. We were seated at a table in the bar area. Our server, jennie was great. She was very friendly and attentive. She made our experience better. Chili's food is not going to blow your mind but it's good easy food that your going to like what you ordered. I always get the 3 item appetizer and pick the southwest egg rolls, sliders and wings. I got this same order as a takeout last month and it was awful. This time everything was really great. My boyfriend got the Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it with some fries. There are multiple Chilis around New Haven and this one is much better than others in terms of service and wait time. Here are my + ives The menu covers everyone's needs in my family - a salmon dish which is low in calories for my diet conscious husband, multiple chicken based entries/appetizers for some others who love chicken, a few veggie options for me who is a vegetarian. I so love their molten chocolate lava cake. I like Chili's menu and the fact that they update their menu every year, adding new items. I loved the onion petal fry they added this year. I love their points reward system which keeps offering free stuffs - ives The bathroom is kind of ok and not so great. I have to say for some reason that I don't understand that if you are having a burger and like it with "some pink" as in not so well done, the to go burger is much better. When you order it inside it tends to be cooked more and it lacks juicyness. It was still a good meal but not as good as it could have been. Talk about a Bad experience. We haven't been to chilli's since Covid started last year however before then would go at least once a week. We decided to venture out tonight but get there early before the rush. We got to chillies at 4:40. There were maybe 4 tables with people in them and the whole restaurant was empty yet we had a 25 minute wait ... how is this possible especially on a Friday. 25 full minutes later which didn't allow us to get in early before the flood of people we didn't even get to sit down yet as we were awaiting a booster seat and we were already being asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. Talk about rush and a way to start our first time back in over a year. *Order chips and queso and ate half of it before we got plates. * Brought my daughters water without a straw and had to wait for that * I asked for no tomato's and a side of blue cheeses dressing. The manager convinced us to stay because he was going redo and re-make fresh dishes for us. It was obvious that our dishes were just reheated when he promised to make it fresh. Waitress was rude when first came up to our table. We were looking for a waiter after sitting for 10 minutes. Waitress finally came over and said, "You're looking over here like you have a problem. I'm coming, I'm coming." When finally getting served, food was dry and there was a hair in my corn on the cob. People were yelling as if they were quitting and waitress didn't even come to the table to ask if everything was okay. Waitress also took extremely long to help with bill, another waitress had to come over and help-then go get our server. After being told by the other waitress, our waitress still had not come over to the table. After finally coming back, she took another 5 minutes to give us $20 back in change. I came into the Chili's in Milford, CT and sat at the Bar. It was busy and the bartender seemed annoyed and overwhelmed... muttering about not having enough glasses. I get it. I've worked in restaurants many times as a young man. Some nights are tough. But the number one rule for any restaurant or bar is at least greet the customer and say I'll be with you shortly. This young man never once even looked at me for 15 minutes and never gave me any signal that even acknowledged my presence. Just a quick acknowledgment would have been fine. But not even a nod. Sorry, I left. Poor management. First thing a restaurant manager has to establish is to create a welcoming, pleasant environment. Please do a better job guys. I came here with my daughter for lunch since she was off from school. We decided to try the $25 meal for 2 which includes one appetizer, 2 entrees and one dessert. We started off with the Texas cheese fries which are my favorite appetizer, I ordered the margarita grilled chicken and my daughter ordered the just bacon burger and we finished our lunch with the molten chocolate cake. My daughter and I came here tonight for the three for $10 dinner. We were seated right away surprisingly the parking lot was completely packed. The drinks were included with the three for 10 . we both ordered salads. my daughters salad was drenched in dressing so she did not eat it.
