I have eaten at this restaurant for many years. At this point, I believe it is the only local chilis. The last time we were here, my mom and I split the fajitas for two and we went with steak and chicken. The steak was really tough and not edible and our waitress. Let the manager know and he came over and took it off our bill. We left it and didn't eat it so it was clear that it was an issue. But they were very attentive and Willing to work with us, which is always helpful. My absolute favorite here is the chili cheese with chips. That has been an old time favorite that I always go back to. It's always good and hits that craving with the chips. Back in the day, I used to love their chicken fingers, but I think they've changed since then. I also really love the buffalo chicken salad. I have had so many things here over the years and have always had pretty good service and food.

First time at this Chili's and about 10 years since I've been in one. Stopped by to watch some football during happy hour. The place is set up like a typical Chili's and has lots of seating. I sat at the bar, which is at the entrance. It was mostly full, but I found a nice spot in front of a couple TV's. The bartender was quick to offer me the happy hour options and I ordered a beer and some chips. I got an appetizer and another beer and had a great time chatting with the other customers as we watched the game.

Here's how my experience went as a first timer at Chilis (believe it or not).. it was a busy Saturday night, I would recommend calling ahead just to be safe but thankfully my party and I squeezed in and got seated relatively quick. They've got a pretty plentiful menu, lots of options to choose from and our server was quick, attentive and 5 seconds after we ordered an appetizer they came out with waters. I like the dedication to their service. I got the triple dipper as an appetizer, (sliders, wings, and Nashville mozzarella) and a few things to note: the sliders I got were decently dry, tasted good dipping in sauce though. The Nashville mozzarella sticks were unfortunately the worst part of the entire meal. Highly highly salted and seasoned to the point where it ruins your palate. Did not finish those. The boneless buffalo wings were good though! A little dry on the buffalo sauce. Main course I got a 6oz sirloin with mash potatoes and broccoli, and I didn't know what to really expect requesting a medium rare but Chilis absolutely knocked it out of the park with this. See photo below, the steak was so tender, cooked to perfection, didn't need any sort of sauce to it it was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Broccoli i should have asked for some salt and pepper. The start off was pretty rocky but I was wowed by the main dish. The servers constantly came to check up on us which I appreciated, but I would consult them about the small issues I described above to get a better idea of what to order.

I went there on Friday evening. It was packed. I recommend joining the waitlist before you get there. We were a party of 7 and waited about 20 minutes. When we got seated, the table was so small for 7 people. The atmosphere was loud and energetic. There was a point where we had to yell over each other to have a conversation. The food was good. The burger was juicy. Even tho it was well cooked. The fries were crispy. Overall, I'll go back again.

Very bustling at nighttime, we waited for around 40 min at 7pm. Pretty loud and crowded but even so our waiter was very attentive and checked in regularly. Wicked cocktails taste like juice (which we liked) but still pretty strong. Solid deal for just $6! Also got the sauced mozzarella in nashville hot. Very, very salty but I could see why it's all over social media. Cheese pull is real! Also if you sign up for the rewards program on the tablet you can get free bottomless chips n salsa. Restrooms were not clean, not sure if this was just today or if it's always like that. Prices are very reasonable, I'd say it's worth trying the social media foods once

It's been a decade or more since I've been to any Chili's. My oldest kid, has been buggin' for me to take her just to order the mozzarella cheese for a cheese pull. Apparently she's seen it on TT or something like that. She showed it to me, it looked good, so I obliged. WOW. The dining area setup is just like all the other Chili's restaurants I've ever been to. Memories hit me right in the face as I walked in. This location is very clean. The bar area is right where you walk in and then it's flanked by dining room sections on both sides. The man who seated us was so cool. Hispanic guy, very friendly, cracked some jokes. I loved him. He was so personable. I'm kicking myself for not getting his name. I'm sure if you're a regular here, you'll know who I am talking about. Our server was, Cassie. She was all over our table. She was quick and attentive. She checked on us often and was very patient when we couldn't figure out what to order. What we ordered; 1) triple dipper - we chose boneless Buffalo wings, sliders, plain mozzarella cheese. This was a tasty appetizer that my daughter ate as a meal. 2) Santa Fe grilled chicken salad - came with tortilla strips on the salad. There was so much of the strips, I had to push them aside. I wish there were more greens in all honesty. This was supposed to be less calories but with the heavy amount of tortilla strips on it, I'm sure the number was way over the 660 calculation. Chili's isn't a place I would normally frequent but I'd go if my kids wanted to dine here and I'm in the mood for it. They're not a bad place but also not one I would run to time and time again. Also FYI. Download the app or sign up for their rewards on those little table kiosk machines. You can get free chips and salsa with a purchase limit and they'll send you something for your birthday too. See you around, Chili's. It was good to see you again after so many years.

we came in after working on Father's Day at our restaurant down the street to have dinner, Sunday around 9 i think. Ariana was our server in the bar area, she was amazing. we were a party of five & she took such good care of us. very genuine & made sure we had everything we needed for our meal & even got us little lids for our to-go sauces. we had a margarita, 2 beers, some kind of limeade i think & 2 espresso martinis. my martinis were delicious. food was honey-chipotle madness, juicy chicken, cheesy mozz sticks & stacked burgers. we left full & happy. the payment system was not working properly. in theory it would have been extremely convenient, especially w us being able to split our check without bothering our server but it wasn't working. she had to come over & help us; we didn't want to be a pain but she came & helped us close out, what a gem! i will always love Chilis for experiences just like this

Veterans' Day visit and very busy. Sarah did a great job staying on top everything. Very friendly. Old Timers Burger was sizable and well prepared and comes standard with fries. The Triple Dip was large with plenty queso, salsa and guacamole. Due to the level of business, it was pretty noisy but you could still carry on a conversation. Too bad I don't have one closer to where I live.

I kept seeing the Nashville hot mozzarella sticks and had to have them. We got the triple dipper to go and did 2 orders of the mozzarella sticks and then wings. The Nashville flavor was in the oil but it wasn't very hot at all. If anything it was too salty. I get the intention but not super well executed in terms of flavor. But the cheese itself was good with a fun cheese pull. Wings were average buffalo. I wouldn't go again for that. The to go serve was great and helped answer questions and gave us water while we waited. Average restaurant lighting and was clean.

Chilis has been my go to for YEARS, however now with the internet making it more popular ,it's way overcrowded and wait times go up. Used to be a hidden gem, but overall can't beat the prices and food. read more

This "sniffs in" at up to 3.5 stars max... You are not coming here for delectable or delicious food, but it all depends on the end user's life experiences. I find this to be "sustenance". I grew up in LA with amazing food from every mini mall to food trucks to the fancy pants restaurants. My parents introduced us to a wide variety of cultural foods from an early age. Any culture of food you wanted you could find in LA and often it was not tough to locate. South OC's roots were traditionally based more in chain restaurants. Things have been changing for a lot of years but on this Friday late afternoon the restaurant is almost sold out with people. It is what it is. The VALUE is the reason to dine here IMHO. They have various value price menus, and I dined with a friend who talked me into trying it again. The wife and I went to the AV location a decade or more ago before it closed down. My friend and I are cost-cutters by design and necessity, but I indulge much more with cuisine than he does. DINING SPACE and RESTROOM: -- showing its age and wear and tear -- could use a face lift but value menu pricing means it is unlikely -- restroom gets a lot of use as this is a bar/restaurant so not too pretty STAFF: -- Christopher was very friendly and attentive addressing every feature of your meal and ensuring everything was specific $10.99 "3 FOR ME" BURGER MEAL: -- I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, salad, Coke -- This is the only sit-down restaurant I can recall where you order a burger, and they do not ask how you want it cooked. Per Christopher, they normally cook it "medium well". I asked for less than that knowing they were not going to do my usual "medium-rare". It came out "medium" (a.k.a. "gray meat"). -- burger quality is similar to the Habit but not as good nor as much char or smoke on it -- requested grilled onions and they were not that but had touched the flame a few seconds it appears -- bun is flat but buttery and better tasting and better quality than the burger -- there was an ultra-thin (24-pound paper thin) slice of translucent cheddar cheese, so I was eating a cheeseburger on a "technicality" (such is life on a value menu); CHEESEBURGER RATING = C- -- side house salad -- tiny bowl did not allow me to add side of honey mustard without greens ending up on table; SALAD RATING = B- -- fries -- not crisp; no oily sheen; drier style; lightly salted at best; FRIES RATING = C- BILLING: -- love the full transparency with point-by-point pricing of very option; also makes Yelping easier In a nutshell, the only reason to come here is for a value meal. If you are here for anything else, you are doing yourself a disservice as there are much better chain restaurant options. But it all depends on whether you are a true foodie or not and whether you are an "eat to live" person or a "live to eat" person. read more

Chili's getting it done! Offering tasty meals and a reasonable price. Our server Nikki was so attentive, it was hard not gove ot 5 stars. Stayed on top our needs and constantly checked in on us. Server was this young guy who was an absolutely gift. He was so funny and helpful even though the restaurant was so crowded. Love the enthusiasm they sing happy birthday with, they make every customer feel like they are the only ones in the store, so lovely. The food was so yummy and I really enjoyed my drinks as well. Appetizers were also so yummy. Everything was clean and lovely and I would love to return with family and friends soon. read more

The food is great but the service and friendliness is what makes my husband and I come back! Chili's is our "Cheers" pub. We typically sit at the bar and get the best service from our fav server, Ariana. So much that today we invited a group of 18 for a lil birthday celebration. I set everything up with the manager, Christina. She was helpful, sweet and very easy to work with. Best burgers and above all - the best people work here! Awful experience tonight! Our waiter didn't know what came with the steak and after I asked for the broccoli he still brought Mac and cheese . Had to ask for the broccoli. The Mac and cheese was watery and cold . Potatoes were cold steak was well and not medium. Never received my side salad . My husband's quesadilla was falling apart as if they rushed it . Not a good experience at all read more

I may be biased because I am Chili's biggest fan, but I can still separate good experiences from my fandom. I really like this location! It is the closest one to me but still my favorite one down here! The food is always good. Our orders have never been messed up, our food has always come out in a timely manner, the drinks are always good, and I always have leftovers (which I love) to enjoy later. The employees here are all younger but they are all very nice. I've never had an encounter less than kind here with any of the employees. They are also great at checking in while you are seated to see if you need anything else. As for the building itself, I honestly think this is one of the prettier Chili's locations I've seen. In the front corners of the restaurant, there is window seating and the corner is rounded, not 90 degrees. This just really gives a home-y vibe to me. It is also a smaller Chili's but I wouldn't consider it to be crowded. I would love to try and sit at the bar here sometime. I always catch myself looking over there - it just seems like a cool spot to be here. Hopefully I'll get over there soon! read more

I don't know if you know this, but Chili's is so back. I don't know how or why, but it is and it's poppin' (triple dipper and dip trio are where it's at). Ramsey was our server and he was wonderful. Gordon Ramsey, you ask????! No, even better. So helpful and pleasant and checked in often to make sure we were taken care of and enjoying our experience. I love Chilis, it's amazing comfort food, me and my friends always come here for their famous triple dipper and it never misses, chicken tenders, sliders and mozzarella sticks all on the same plate, what else could you ask for, besides the free chips and salsa, the servers are great as they always refill our drinks and chips, the ambiance is great, it gives off Tex-mex vibes pretty well and I will be coming back in near future read more

My friend took me for a birthday dinner at Chilis and it was everything I needed! Our server Nikki was truly amazing -- so friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Even with a packed house and a ton of tables, she made us feel like a priority the whole time. It's rare to get service that genuine and warm these days, and she really made the night special. Chili's has always been one of those chain restaurants that I like going back to because of its substantial menu items (great for big parties with particular palates) and the quality is consistent. Plus, I grew up with Chili's in the rotation of restaurants we dined at, so it's a nostalgia thing for me. THE FOODS | TexMex type of food. BBQ, fajitas, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads, pastas, etc. For this round, we wove our way through... - Southwestern Eggrolls | Crispy flour tortillas, chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeño Jack cheese, red peppers, and spinach. Comes with a side of avocado-ranch dressing. I have to say, these eggrolls are a burst of southwest flavors and their avocado-ranch is the perfect dipping sauce for it. It ruins the main course for me every time because I insist on ordering this whenever we go. Worth it. - Smokehouse Combo | The combo allows for a variety of choices to really customize your meal. It comes with buttery garlic toast and crispy french fries. I picked out... 1. Sausage with cheddar and jalapeños which is damn juicy and offers a little spice as well. 2. Brisket quesadilla is spicy, balanced with sweet barbecue sauce. The brisket itself is tender. 3. Roasted street corn is basically Mexican street corn on the cob. Buttery, sprinkled with cotija cheese, and parsley. I really enjoy the flavors of this side dish. 4. Loaded mashed potatoes is creamy soft, buttery, topped with cheese, green onions and bacon bits. So good! - Cajun Chicken Pasta | Al dente penne pasta with sliced chicken breast and Cajun spice mixed into this incredible cheesy sauce. I wasn't expecting so much flavor but here we are, talking 'bout it. I will definitely order again. THE ORDERING LOGISTICS | Ordered through DooDash and had it delivered. No issues on missing items and everything was hot on arrival. Side note, I have dined at this location in the past and it didn't seem unkept like other Yelpers have noted. However, it's been a few years so maybe things have changed. read more

What a crying shame...we really had a taste for chili and didn't want it to make it at home, so the next best option was to go to Chili's. What a shocking surprise to find out that they no longer serve chili at Chili's! That's like no burgers at Burger King or Grant not being buried in Grant's Tomb! And to add insult to injury they no longer serve their wonderful cornbread! read more

My mom and I were going out for lunch when the spot we wanted to go was closed. Chili's was right next door so we decided to give them our business. It was around 1pm when we came and there were a few people sprinkled around the restaurant. We had a younger gentleman serving us and he was very nice. I got a Dr. Pepper and chicken fajitas which was very fresh and packed with flavor. I wish that there was a variety of hotter salsa with the fajitas but other than that, everything was good! My mom got what looked to be a chicken salad that came with cheese quesadillas. Despite this not being our first choice, we had a great afternoon at Chili's. read more

I don't understand the poor ratings, we come here often great food, great service also prices are good. We eat out at least twice a week and by far their service is far above some of the pricier restaurants. We go on a Friday night so always packed but we get into bar area quick. My family and I go to Chillis from time to time for the food and the atmosphere. We were very pleased with the service from our waiter named Blue. Pretty good experience. Server Ryan was very nice and attentive. Food was good. Husband got a triple dipper and I got the fajita trio. I also got their November margarita. I've been to this Chili's twice now, and I can vouch for the quality of the food. The chef makes his entrees presentable and tasty. The chicken enchilada soup in particular is outstanding. The burgers are always made exactly as I order them. I also like that this place is easy to access. It's basically next to a subdivision off Crown Parkway, which itself is accessible from Margarite Pkwy. In other words, you won't be driving through an annoying parking lot maze to get here. Had a wonderful experience at this location 10/19/2024. Was a last minute decision to come here, I personally had never been before but my boyfriend said the food is pretty good. I got the witches brew margarita, unfortunately they were out of the green apple flavoring however my server recommended a different flavor, blue raspberry I believe and it was a phenomenal substitute. I ordered the crispers and my boyfriend got the smokehouse combo, both meals were satisfying and the service was great! First time coming here with my family and this chilis location did not disappoint! Immediately was greeted by the hostess with a smile and had to wait around 10 minutes for a table of 7 to open up for us. I was greeted again with a friendly smile and attitude by our server! I am really bad with names but she was incredibly amazing! She had to leave due to her shift being over and we were served by another gentleman who was friendly but not as attentive as our first server, hence why I dropped down 1 star! Food was amazing and the prices are very reasonable and affordable! I've visited this location countless times and it's always consistent. The servers are always kind & provide great service and the food is always delicious. It still feels like it's crazy to be doing that kind of thing but nobody was injured. They also have a pretty cool dance floor in a live band started up while we were there. Apparently they have square dancing and line dancing. There are also days when families can come in so kids can get in on the throwing action too. Overall, it was a fun and different activity. One other thing we realized is that you can do the room alone or with up to 4 people. We chose to do a group of 4, but next time I'll do it individually. While in the room as a group, you have 15 minutes total, but still have to go 1 by 1 for safety. The cost is the same per person (no deal for a group), so it makes sense to do it 1 person at a time in my opinion. Overall though, I don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying a fun night at Whoop Axe. I think they're doing a fantastic job and provide a great experience. The staff are all friendly and make sure you are instructed on how to stay safe. If you're looking for a unique experience that you'll never forget, this is the place for sure!

Imagine a place that has something for everybody. It does't matter if you're in preschool or in a retirement home there is something for everybody to enjoy at Chili's. If you live near Mission Viejo, then you live near your new favorite restaurant. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with sights and sounds of families and friends who are enjoying each others company over great food. There are also plenty of televisions broadcasting live sporting events for the raved sports fan. When you are seated at your table and you obtain a menu, your quest of deliciousness begins. Say that you don't care about the atmosphere, décor, or sports games; say that you came to Chili's hungry and was in the mood for something good. Then, my hungry friend, you will find no shortage of expertly crafted hamburgers and mouth - watering fajitas on the menu that you can only see to believe. Everything from avocados to zucchini is available for you to choose. For the true cowboy, how about lassoing up a Southern Smokehouse Burger, which has enough bacon and onion rings that will make you feel like you're in Texas. If you want something lighter, you can try the Green Chicken Salad, which offers freshly grilled chicken atop light, crisp lettuce and topped with diced tomatoes. Chili's has a whole host of signature items that will keep customers coming back for years to come. I am a frequent customer at Chili's in Mission Viejo and have consistently received excellent food and service, whether dining in or ordering takeout. Typically, I pick up my orders myself, but today I decided to have my meal delivered as I was home sick with the flu. I placed my order directly through Chili's, and it was assigned to DoorDash for delivery. Shortly after receiving a text that my order was being picked up, I immediately received another message stating that my order had been canceled and that I needed to contact Chili's. Concerned, I called the restaurant and spoke with Geraldo, the manager. He was extremely empathetic, which I deeply appreciated, especially since I had already paid a substantial amount for food I never received. Geraldo confirmed that my order had indeed been picked up and, from his end, there was no indication of a cancellation. He apologized for the confusion and advised me to reach out to DoorDash to request a refund. When I contacted DoorDash, the first representative informed me that the cancellation was marked as a "duplicate order," which was not accurate. I explained that my order was neither duplicated nor returned to Chili's--it was picked up by the driver and never delivered. After placing me on hold to follow up with Chili's, the call was unfortunately disconnected, and despite having my contact information, the agent never called back. I then called DoorDash again and spoke with Jared, who, like Geraldo, was very understanding of the situation. Jared assured me he would initiate the refund process and recommended that I inform Chili's as well. After speaking with him, I contacted Geraldo again to update him. Once more, Geraldo was kind and apologetic, and he generously offered to remake my entire order. When I arrived at the restaurant, Geraldo even came out to personally greet me and introduce himself as my son picked up the food. His outstanding customer service and genuine care for my experience truly made my evening. Geraldo, thank you again for going above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. Your kindness and professionalism made all the difference, and it's the reason I'll continue to be a loyal Chili's customer. read more

The Chili's in my town (in Aliso Viejo, CA) is the best. I have been to other Chili's in Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel, Victorville etc and they do not compare. Even when I order to go, they are not stingy on the ranch while others have given a hard time. They always confirm my order is correct before I walk out the door while others have had me do it. The food is always hot and fresh. Dining in, every waitress/waiter is happy and fun. I cannot think of one time when I had a bad experience at my Chili's. I work only a few miles from work so I eat at Chili's in Aliso Viejo, CA with co-workers, dine in with family and order take out. I have Chili's at least 2xs a month if not more. The menu is amazing and you can never get bored of your choices because they are always coming out with something new to try (even though I think the spicy chicken quesadilla's and wild skillet queso were taken off way too fast). Everyone who knows me, knows that Chili's is my favorite place to go. It's delicious, casual and has something for everyone. The kids meal even has great selections. This location is close to my work. I keep trying it, hoping the last visit was an isolated incident and it couldnt be that bad...again. And then...sigh. It's always a 25 min wait, no matter the time of day, even if you are the ONLY people there and there are 100 empty tables! It's like no one really works there. When a hostess finally seats you, you're just so relieved that you're grateful for any food at all. Other patrons look at you guiltily and nod, like we're all in this together now. The food isn't bad, but its like this Chili's is so far off the grid, corporate forgot about them and never provided basic customer service training. You've been warned! :) read more

My son and I went here on November 11th. They were busy so of course service was slow. We ordered an appetizer, Texas cheese fries and they were served over cooked and dry. When our server returned we pointed out that there was a piece of a finger nail in my sons glass, "Oh, ewww sorry I'll get another glass". Really??? That's all your going to say? I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was extremely salty and not even served at room temp, it was cold. I would have told my server but we didn't see her again. I just paid at the table with their payment machine and left. I'll never go back. read more

over the years i have seen their food quality go down when it comes to their baby back ribs i used to go to chill's at least once a week but after they changed their size of their baby back ribs i slowed down i went back a few weeks back i have to say it was disappointing i can not speak about anything else on their menu i was a baby back rib's lover if you know a spot thats to die for let me know read more

i used to be a chill's lover all the way. a few years back they changed the size of their baby back ribs i just went there recently had my usual baby back ribs and i have to say i did not like it at all will probably i can not talk anything else on their menu since i only had there baby back ribs. even dipping it in the ranch made no difference. read more
