First off, I'm from out of town and I DID NOT choose to go here. Second, I wouldn't EVER go here on my own volition. Third, I didn't have a bad experience here. I was in town for a friend of my BFs wedding and while the boys were out for the the bachelor business the ladies went over to Chili's for a few drinks the night before the rehearsal brunch- that's right: BRUNCH. Meaning we have to be up early for brunch and earlier for the rehearsal so nothing too crazy, at least not tonight, or yet. I didn't eat anything so take this for what it's worth. Just a drinking experience for me this go 'round, but they had 23 oz mugs of Stone IPA for $5. So, that was nice. The bartender was v. young looking but maybe it's just the California living that keeps ya youthful. At closing time we asked around for late night options in the area and the servers and bartenders were all super friendly and gave us all our options along with warnings about what to expect at certain bars, ahem- Corner Pocket. If I lived in the area i might be able to look past the part about it being a chain and see through to the shining $5 23 oz Stone IPA mugs every once in a while. read more

This is the most dreaded review I've ever had to write. This chili's is great usually, I live down the street so I come here every once in a while. The service was great last night, our waitress was awesome. The food was delicious. But there was just 1 problem. We were out on a double date with our best friends when we came here. We we were seated promptly and well taken care of. Our waitress was great, she made sure we had plenty of drinks and chips. We ordered the panko onion rings to start out and chips and guacamole. Both delicious. For our appetizer I got the bacon burger and everyone else got Chipotle honey wings. It was delicious. For dessert we had lava cakes which were awesome. You may be asking what the problem is... Well, I ended up with food poisoning and have been up all night and I'm still sick. I don't know what caused it or if anyone else in our party has it, I hope not. But it is the only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 because I don't want anyone else to get sick. Very rarely have I come across a restaurant deserving of one star, but tonight was horrible. My wife and I just got back from this place. Place was half filled and food all over the floor. I know it was close to closing, but thats still not an excuse. When we were seated it was about 10 min before someone even acknowledged our existence. A waiter from another section came by to take our drink order and told us that our server would be by soon. Another 10 min went buy before that happened. We ordered and didn't see our waitress again until our food was brought out. We ordered the pretzel stick appetizer. I know that it is becoming standard practice for these types of chains to have frozen appetizers, but its getting a little out of hand. The pretzels and cheese were acceptable, just shy of ok, and far from good. I ordered a bacon ranch quesadilla. I would have been better off at taco bell it probably would have been less greasy. The quesadilla itself was void of any sort of flavor. The only thing that had flavor was the pepper ranch and it was still weak. My wife's fajitas were undercooked and almost cold when they came to the table. Our waitress was absolutely horrible. I can take bad food or poor service, but not both. we weren't given any napkins or place settings when our appetizers were brought out. When we requested them, they were thrown at us as the waitress hurried past our table. When our entrees came, they too were thrown at us. When the waitress brought refill for our drink, she put enough force into it, so that the one drink slid halfway across the table to collide with the previous one. I will not be back. read more

Been to this location multiple times always great food the staff is friendly. But today went in and the host was by far rude and not welcoming we waited 30mins for our table we get seated in the bar at a booth its dinner rush the bar area is crowded the bartender is slammed. About 20mins go by we realize he is also our waiter so our food order or refills were not happening which is not his fault the manager should not have a bartender doing tables as well as bar during a rush. DONT waste time ordering at this location. Most ridiculous service I have ever received. I did not look at previous reviews and should have before ordering here. I made a phone order to go with a live staff member. When I asked for a frozen strawberry margarita. She replied they only have a frozen sangarita , I asked if the drink had tequila and she says yes. My son who is 23 yrs old picks up the food for me. And calls me and tells me mom these don't look like the same drinks you always order. So I asked him to get a refund on the drinks as I don't want them. He then calls me and says they WILL NOT refund my money as I have already paid for then. Ummm sounds weird. So I call and talk to them and they say the same thing we can not give you a refund on something you paid for already. What the F***... I'm a customer who is not satisfied with the drink you made me and I'm asking for a refund. You take the drink back and I take money back seems simple. I usually love coming to Chili's however this was probably the worst experience I have ever had. We walked in to the restaurant and nobody was working in the front so we ended up seating ourselves at the bar area. We then waited for a waiter to help us for about 15 minutes before getting our drinks ordered. As well as waiting about 20 min in between someone actually helping us our entire visit. I would have understood more if it was busy but there was nobody in there and there were 4 workers in our area. Not only that but I never got a refill on my drink we asked for chips and never got them and were ignored multiple times by workers. They only seemed to care about those ordering drinks or there regulars. This kinda sucks because I love Chili's but I just felt annoyed and angry when I left. The manager is a total idiot. She took a party of 13 and then a party of 9 right after, quoting them both 45 minutes. She was under staffed in The kitchen and there was no open seating in the bar. The hostess eventually started quoting parties of five 2 hours, turning away several customers. When I questioned the manager as to why she accepted such a large party she said she doesn't turn anyone away because that would be discrimination. I said it is just good management since you are under staffed. After waiting over an hour we left. So irritated. read more

I love the food, but our experience today was a fail! We checked in at 1:15 and left at 2:45. We sat for at least 10 minutes before anyone greeted us- I am okay with a quick hello/ but to sit for over 10 minutes with out any recognition was a bit shocking. I blame the manager, he was right next to our table and never once said anything to the wait staff as he clearly saw us sitting unattended. We go to this Chili's about once a month and it's really hit or miss as far as service. Tonight our server Rachel was amazing. Our food was FAST and she always seemed to be right there whenever we needed anything. We went in because they had a $35 deal this weekend. You got an appetizer, two meals, two presidente margaritas and a dessert. We had the bottomless chips and salsa, the chicken fajitas and the toffee brownie sundae. The fajitas are good here. They're by no means authentic Mexican restaurant fajitas but the chicken is moist and flavorful. Our margaritas were yummy and we brought our dessert home. Chili's has always been an excellent reliable place to get a variety of foods, whatever you are craving chili's has it or something close to it that will fill your craving. Sadly I'm giving it 3 stars because some of there cooks don't understand that buffalo wings need buffalo sauce on it or it would just be chicken. The food was great and the value was good as usual. What set this visit apart enough to make me write a review was the service. Christian was out server and was one of the best we've had at a restaurant. He was attentive and quick, great energy and made sure we were well taken care of. The only problem with the visit was the stupid machine that you pay on lol. I couldn't type on it to do the survey because some of the keys couldn't be used on the touch screen. Chili's has recently become a favorite place for a family dinner out. Our family of 4 can get a great meal for under $50- with drinks and appetizers- thanks to their 2/$22 and 3/$10 menus. Both menus offer a variety of choices, so there's something for everyone. The "special" portions are smaller than the standard menu portions, but we always leave satisfied (sometimes with a little leftover to take home). But the best part is that the food is really good. Salads are fresh and crisp, the top sirloin is tender and always cooked as ordered, onion rings are super crunchy and served with a ranch dressing that is fantastic and their ribs never disappoint. We usually go on Saturday nights so there can be a bit of a wait for a table. However, we prefer to sit in the bar where we get the best service in town from Cody. He's super friendly and attentive. Stopped in for a late dinner and seated ourselves in a bar booth after we were greeted immediately upon arrival.... with a smile from a very kind hostess....and the visit just got better from there. Our server, Cody, was quick, friendly and efficient. He suggested items, all of which was delicious, kept our drinks full and genuinely put a smile on our faces. I love to meet servers like him who can take a simple meal out and turn it into an experience my husband and I talk about after we leave. That right there is a sign of great guest services! There was an hour wait due to staffing shortages as is the norm now it seems. Our food was just ok but the reason for the review and 5 stars is our waitress Sam. She was phenomenal. She was kind, attentive and knowledgeable about where our food was at all times. She bussed her own tables and checked on us enough to be efficient but not too much to where it was invasive. I used to think that Chili's was really good, but now it's just ok. I feel like the quality of the food has gone down during the years. Service is a hit or miss... We've been here on two separate occasions. The first time it wasn't so good and this time it was ok. We went for lunch, it wasn't crowded or busy, and the server was nice. She came to check up on us a few times and was good. Nothing on her. The food on the other hand was bleh... My husband ordered a burger and he said it was good. I ordered the an entree dish with a beef taco, tostada, rice, beans, and enchilada, and it was bleh. The flavor was bland and all I could taste was the cumin. Presentation looked like they just plopped it on the plate. The last time we were here my husband got a burger as well and I got the salmon entree. And we felt the same way about the food. It seems like there's something missing. Overall, I wouldn't want to come back again. Not for the food anyway. The service was good. Greeted at the door and was attentive checking up on us. But the food and quality is bad. Chili's has gone way down. I'd rather go to Red Robin or something else by the mall. I'm paying about the same anyway. read more

Let's be honest. It's the margaritas that I keep coming back for. I could sit there all night and just drink margaritas. But that wouldn't make much of a review so . . . To me, the food here reminds me in some ways of pub food, but with a much bigger variety. They have a southwest egg roll that I could eat along with my margaritas, but I'd never be able to stop either one and end up as an obese drunk. I also like their flatbreads. They have a couple of salads that are excellent, as are the burgers and the fajitas. Unless you are a real food snob, you'll probably like most anything on the menus. I ordered Chips and salsa, found a hair in the bowl of chips. they took it without saying sorry, they bring me another bowl and it had a piece of plastic. i asked about the plastic and they said oh idk maybe from the bag... so not only did they mess up 2 times but they didn't apologize. i understand that it happens, but it shouldn't. so they didn't apologize, they didn't offer a discount or anything. when I asked the waiter, she said that we were getting a discount already with the chips and salsa being removed but that was for being A member. She leaves and a man comes back and says here is your receipt took off $1 from bill.... at that point i was pissed off, I asked that's all you can do? No apology and $1 taken off out bill? he Says what more do you want? i said first an apology, this shouldn't happen at all, and it happened twice. he goes back and takes off a couple dollars more.
