Chili's... oh my my, Chili's is such a refined and astounding restaurant, not the greatest but still very delightful me and my wife Desiree decided it would be nice to try somewhere new. I decided to eat the 6 oz. sirloin when I was there, and it surprisingly superb. The service here was quite nice and I didn't have a singular complaint to say about it. I really wish I could give at least three stars - but the description for two stars: "Meh, I've experienced better." is exactly how I feel after tonight's meal. First, let me state that their re-decorating looked amazing! I really had high hopes (as I hadn't been here since Nov 2011)! Their modern style was refreshing compared to their original dungy look. The hostess sat us (my 11 year old son and I) immediately and announced who our server would be. Brandy soon arrived at our table and introduced herself. She was very nice and polite and attentive. She took our drink orders and came back promptly with them. We needed a little extra time to look over the menu so she left us for a few minutes. My son and I decided to try their "2 for $20" deal. Seemed like a sure thing. We decided on the chips and fire-roasted corn guacamole as our shared appetizer. Good choice! The guac was flavorful and we also had salsa too! Great start! So our entrees came out and they looked amazing! Our food was so hot and fresh! I ordered their Classic Bacon Burger with a side of the fries. I also asked for a side of ranch (for my fries). My son ordered the 6oz. sirloin with steamed broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. My entree selection: The burger was cooked perfectly! The bacon was a bit overcooked for my liking but not "horrible". The burger did seem to have an "abundance" of shredded lettuce - a bit too much, in my opinion. Overall though, the burger was good. My fries though - not so great. They were piping hot but overly salty. They were fried to a perfect crispness - but the seasoning was overpowering. Eh...Oh yeah, my side of ranch was forgotten - so I had to remind our server. My son's entree selection: He steak was grilled perfectly as ordered (medium well). My son was raving about his steak! So much that he begged me to have a bite! So of course I did! Whoa! Salt City, USA! That steak had so much salt - I don't understand how my son could eat it! The steamed broccoli was flavorful - but over seasoned with pepper. The loaded mashed potatoes were just average, at best. They were piping hot but seemed 'old' (as if they had been sitting in a steamtable pan for several hours). The service was acceptable. The server continued to refill our drink selections (my son ordered the strawberry lemonade; I ordered the blackberry iced tea) throughout our meal. I noticed several other servers and hotesses walking about the restaurant and all of them seemed genuinely happy. Smiles and warm welcomes greeted every guest! Can't have too high of expectations from a chain restaurant; I expected to give at least three stars but the food drove the rating down to two stars. May come back, maybe not. read more

Disappointed with the lack of communication between staff members. All I tried to do was pick up a simple Togo order and it turned into a 10 minute ordeal just to get to the Togo window which is placed in the far back corner of the restaurant with no clear indication of where to go, to get... Something has changed at this Chilis - it's just not as good as it used to be. The last 3 times we've been here the service and cleanliness of bathrooms had fallen quite a bit. It seems maybe the number of staff is less and maybe being stretched too thin. The food is still good but not quite up to the higher standards of when we first started coming here. The hamburgers the last couple times I tried them were way over cooked to the point they were almost crispy. Anyway, this was one of favorite spots to eat in town. Not anymore. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and the environment is so family friendly. I visit this location at least once a week and no matter if I do a to-go order or sit inside it's great quality food with an awesome customer service experience. I'd give 0 stars if I could came here with a total of 10 people wasn't to busy.. Didn't get checked on not once by our waiter until we asked for the manager.. Cold food brought out.. Didn't bring out items.. Then an alcoholic drinks was straight water and we asked if we could get a swap out and the waiter was extremely rude.. When we complained to the "manger" he was very shity and stuck up.. dripping a bill by 14$ to compensate for the "service & food" then takes 20 mins to get our card then another 20 to give it back and sign off... Over all shity service by everyone especially the manager.. They did not give a rats ass about there shity service.. Then for the "food" nothing was offered.. We will never be coming back. read more

my family and I come to eat here at least once a month. Our visit for the most part is good every time. but this time in my opinion was a great visit. We normally go to the bar side because we can sit ourselves, when we did there was only one waiter and his name was Spencer. he waited on all the tables around the bar by him self. with that being said, we still got our food served on a timely manner, drinks refilled, great attitude while serving us. We ate here tonight with Cody serving us and it was amazing. He made us feel very comfortable right away and offered the drink specials which was great to hear about. He was very attentive throughout our whole meal, refilling our drinks, making sure we had enough ranch and condiments. He was the best server we have had in a long time. This is a great Chili's location. The burgers are tasty and great. The service was food even when it was busy on a Sunday. I liked the TV's which had the NFL games on when we visited. The mango iced tea was great. We finished our meal with cheesecake which we as a very big portion. We will be eating here again after taking in a flick at the movie theater across the way. read more

I've always loved chili's food and I've been a server so I know what it's like. But I took my kids there for my sons birthday on a Tuesday night a couple weeks ago, and service was awful. I get it if you're busy but at least acknowledge your table and say hey I'll be right with you. That's a lot better than keeping a mom and three kids waiting for 10 minutes to even be greeted. All our waitress did was take our order, someone else brought our drinks, and food, and she didn't even come and ask us if we needed anything just asked if he was ready for his birthday dessert. Overall it's whatever, foods descent.. it's what my son wanted so I was trying not to be grumpy about it but I'm definitely not going back there for a while. It's not worth the wait. read more

We typically go to this Chili's atleast once a month and have always enjoyed our experience there. But last night was just ridiculous. We love our dog and take her everywhere with us. When we go to dinner if we want to bring her we make sure to go to a PET FRIENDLY restaurant and sit OUTSIDE on the patio. So we are sitting at the bar in Chili's and all of a sudden we hear something that sounds like a dog scratching its collar. And what do you know; some lady has her toy poodle sitting on the booth chair at their table INSIDE. Last time I checked Chili's wasn't pet friendly. And no it was not a service dog; it had a pink harness and a flexi leash. Extremely disgusting. read more

Recently Chilis introduced a new payment option, pay at the table. I refuse to use it, and finding someone to swipe my card is sometimes difficult. I do curbside here a lot because I have a toddler and it's just more convenient. I always prepay with credit card online so I can just pick up the food and go. Today however, I wanted to use a gift card, and on the website it said to pay with gift card once you get there for curbside. The girls that came out gave me a hard time and said I needed to come inside. I showed them my son sleeping in the backseat and they said they don't take payment inside without the customer for privacy reasons. I told them again "it's a gift card, there's no personal information on it." Then they tried to say that they don't want to do it because it might not cover the whole total. Excuse me what?? The order was 14 dollars, I handed them a brand new 25 dollar gift card. It wasn't like they gave me the food already where I could leave without paying or something so I don't know what they were being so weird about. They finally gave in and let me stay in my car while they rang it up inside, but it was just such a weird experience. Then she comes out with the food and tells me the gift card went through. Worst visit ever. I finally downloaded the Chilis app to place an online order and nothing that I requested was done. First I asked for curbside because I was in a hurry. After waiting 10 minutes from the time the app said the Ford would be ready, I was told to go inside. Once there I noticed that what I order was not the right thing. When I told the hostess in the TO Go side. She said she heard to get the mgr because she couldn't make the change to one item (appetizers). I told her that was fine and I would wait. After 10 minutes I got my item and left. I should of check before leaving what the rest of my items looked like but I didn't. One of the entrees was fine but the 2nd was not how I ordered it, no utensils like I requested, nothing! To top of my night their was a nice piece of hair in my meal.
