As I was traveling into this Chili's I was met with a calm atmosphere. As I was getting ready to get a table they told me 30 minutes, but our table was ready in 5 minutes. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here, but there's certainly room for improvement. The good: Decent bartender and friendly. Cannot remember her name, but she pours a great beer. She did disappear completely a couple times for like 5 minutes at a clip, so we had to wait a bit for her to refill our chips and salsa, but not the biggest of deals. They were not at all busy at the bar. When we arrived, only one single other patron was there. The chips and salsa are decent, especially the chips (salsa a bit watery for my liking) and the philly cheesteak we ordered was served very hot and tasted purdy good (see my pics for details on what it looks like). Fries were standard curly fries, but were served hot. Didn't take long to get our food at all. In fact, we were surprised that it arrived so quickly. This location was also very, very clean and I would not at all concern myself with it being sanitized, etc. Lots of free parking in the parking lot and their guest WiFi is free and strong, just like 'merica! The bad: Prices have really gone up here, even at the end of January 2023 on a Monday during happy hour, prices are high. Best HH deal was a 22 oz. draft beer (Blue Moon, Bud Light, Dos Equis Amber). No and I mean, no appetizer or decent HH deals on food. The Philly and fries we bought was like 12 bucks pre-tax (add on that 11 percent tourist tax!!!). Chili's used to be one of the chain joints you could visit anytime and expect a check that wasn't going to force you into debt or make you get a 2nd job...not sure about now. Inflation most definitely, definitely hit Chili's. Maybe that's fine, but when the Chili's you're eating at needs a renovation in the worst way (I don't know if they ever did renovate this location and it's got to be at least 30 years old). Also, and this is a big bad one for me. They try and have you pay using one of those dumb a$$ portable computer kiosk thingies and they can be a major pain. We didn't really have too much trouble with it, but our friends with us ended up having to get a manager to do their transaction for some reason as the darn thing wasn't working right and the manager had to do the transaction the old fashioned way (why fix it if it ain't broke?) I was able to determine that they do offer a basic burger and fries special on HH on Tuesday's for 6.99, so we'll be back for that. Chili's has always had a decent burger, especially for that price. Curly fries incur an upcharge of $1.50 over regular fries, anytime, not just on the special day (always got nickel and dime every one). Soda's run 3 bucks, but they come with free refills. Pro tip: sign up for the Chili's club for free online and then every time you visit you get free chips and salsa. Additionally, Chili's will sometimes shoot you an email with a free reward after you visit, like a few days after you visit. This last time I received an email for a free dessert for the next time we go! read more

All in all for our first "dinner" in vacation I thought this wasn't too bad. My wife and sister have been looking forward to the triple dippers and they thought they ended up being okay but nothing phenomenal. In town on vacation from Birmingham AL for my daughters birthday and we felt very unwelcomed!!! The young African-American host was very rude,nasty,and unprofessional!!! This visit was January 18th 2024 around 7:50pm! As we (party of 5) entered we weren't greeted! The host was sitting to the side on her phone then rudely said,"How many"? Again she was sitting to the side so we didn't even see whomever was asking the question. I answered 5 she then gets up and snatches menus and eatery very aggressively as if we were a great bother to her. She walks off didn't say follow me, this way, or NOTHING AT ALL. Another worker that was there near the front says you all can follow her. We go behind her she turns and just looked at tables with a very bothered/rude facial expression didn't say this is you alls table or nothing . I just said you know what no thank you we will go elsewhere because you are very rude and unprofessional!!! The experience was very displeasing!!! I wouldn't recommend this location AT ALL nor will I ever visit this location again ! Management should consider revamping employees with better attitudes & customer service ethics! read more

I will say that I don't always get great service with my visit but this one was definitely an A+. The manager was very cordial when she met me at the door and was very accommodating the entire visit. She was consistently checking on us and while our waitress didn't have much of a personality she did a very good job at taking care of us. I understand some will harass me about the personality reference but in a position where you're trying to get tips just doing the job is not always just enough. Chili's continues to drop off in quality and service, and this location is no exception. Food is pretty good, but not as good as it used to be. For example, the fajitas used to have grill marks, and were clearly browned on a grill. Now the fajita meat is not browned, and seems more steamed or even microwaved. But the seasoning is still spot-on, so it's still OK. Service was spotty; waiter very forgetful, even when the place was not at all busy. Chili's will do if you don't expect too much, but there are almost always better options. read more

After waiting for 10 minutes or more I looked around for any sign of life from my waitress and where she may be found. And there she was, an obvious DEI hire lounging by the restroom scrolling on her phone. What really got to me was the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty and there was no excuse for lack of service. I've seen WW2 documentary's less depressing than this place. I ordered one thing and got something else only to send it back to get something else that was also not what I ordered. The food was burnt but also cold....not actually sure how they were able to do that. I was asked five times to leave a tip before I got my food...which seemed odd. The waitress had a bloody nose...that she didn't seem to notice. The table was sticky and there was a slight smell of urine coming from the table across from me. This Chili's location was notably better than the last one we visited in Raleigh NC. We were seated within a couple minutes of arrival. Our server was at our table so quickly we needed more time to read the menu. There was a drink special for $6 Patron margaritas, which were really good. We got the 3 for me special. Nice salad, with dressing on the side without asking. A really good burger with fries, all well prepared. Also included was a soft drink, and this Chili's had Coke products! Not all Chili's stores do. $10.99 per person. I didn't like the tabletop kiosk. Ours had the margaritas at full price on the bill, so the server had to ask to get that changed to the advertised price (which was on the table.) There was no problem getting that fixed. but a slight delay. The kiosk also offered a choice between an email receipt or no receipt. I should have asked for a paper receipt, but the kiosk should offer that choice. I don't think this store has any choice but to use the Chili's system, but one should be able to get a receipt without asking for it or giving up an email address. All in all, this meal was a good value for well prepared food and good service. We would go again. Our tab was 33.98 for food and margaritas. Sales tax was really high at $4.51 (13.25%) but this is beyond this store's control. read more

It's Father's Day! Decided to try Chili's in Myrtle Beach we have been here one hour. We had two orders of chips and salsa and no food yet. Waitress walked by us several times and yet failed to tell us the status of our food. I finally stopped her and asked now much longer it would be and five minutes later we had our food. When the food arrived it was very salty and burnt. It wasn't worth eating. I told the manager on duty about our wait and our food order was not fit to eat and I told her also I wasn't going to pay for food that wasn't worth eating. She grabbed the food up and left and said, fine. We have eaten here many times in the past and the food was delicious. read more

Disclaimer: We went to this restaurant to surprise our son at his new server job. I have been to a Chilies restaurant only a couple of times. The last time was about 15 years ago so this would be essentially be considered a first time at this chain. The restaurant appears to be a an older property but was clean and maintained. I am not big on Mex-Tex so I ordered a Salmon dish. Kim is into it and had the chicken quesadillas. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The seared salmon had a chile-rub Atlantic, and taking from the menu, spicy citrus-chile sauce, cilantro, queso fresco. It came with rice & steamed broccoli. The salmon had a nice taste, not too strong. The rice was tasty and there was alot of broccoli. Kim said the quesadillas were very good. Overall we found the meal to be good and I may try one of the signature meals next time we stop by. By the way, our server James, was excellent.
