My husband, granddaughter and I had a lovely dinner at Chili's on Tuesday June 18th--the food was delicious--hot and just as we ordered it--our waiter, Max, was excellent and the manager came over to ask about our satisfaction---he was also doing an excellent job because the restaurant was packed and the servers were really moving quickly to get the customers served. The staff was pleasant and friendly while also being efficient and attentive. All around great experience (our first at this Chili's) and we look forward to returning! read more

For a chain restaurant they are pretty good and offer a nice variety. I work near this Chili's, so I go here frequently. For take out, they are great food is always hot and orders are accurate. For table service, they are a bit slow at lunch time, so you may want to leave yourself some extra time. read more

Service great the young man with the big tattoo on his right arm. He was really great. Prompt and had great energy. Burger was good, preformed frozen patty, fries were old, but it tasted good enough. Bottle beer was prettty over priced, sam adams in the bottle about 6 bucks. That was pretty out of line. Over all, I wont be back more than likely or just maybe for take out. I just love my local Chilli's! My favorite dish on the menu is the steak fajitas and a nice margarita to go with it yum yum. The greeting staff are so nice open the door for you with a smile and nice welcome to chilis. The waiter and waitress staff are always nice and the get the order right every time. I have been to chilli's two time in my life and i must say i enjoyed myself. I love the environment, i love the fact that it is in a good calm and relax location. I also love the fact that they always be having some good deals and their good deals always staying around for awhile. The food is excellent especially the Texas cheese fries one of my favorite. I celebrated my birthday there me and my family , and i had a ball their selection of kids meal was wonderful because my kids couldn't finish what they had. chilli's are in a class by themselves. While the food is fine at Chili's, I really have lost respect for management at the North Brunswick NJ location. My son worked there for over 2 years as a server and was a very good employee. He was terminated today because I had an emergency situation in my business yesterday and needed his help. He tried for 5 days to get coverage for his shift and could not, so he called and was honest about why he would not be in. Surprisingly, when he went in today, he was called into his manager's office and let go. So because he has a responsibility to his father, he was terminated. I will never be back. read more

This was THE place for my high school friends to eat out on weekends. Not amazing, but consistently yummy and every visit got good service. The steak is pretty good but the chocolate cake was a bit disappointing. Once I got ribs and pasta to go and it was AMAZING. read more

Went for lunch, no one was standing at the hostess stand so we waited for about 5 minutes. The hostess brought us to a booth & when we asked for a table she gave an attitude and just walked to find one. We sat down, not one waitress or waiter came to us. About 5 or 6 walked past our table and no acknowledgement whatsoever. After 15 minutes, my family decided to get up and leave... again no acknowledgment whatsoever. It wasn't even busy, there were about 7 other families eating (if that!) ... I'm not sure why we were treated that way, but I will never go there again. read more

Chili's Bar & restaurant, Noth Brunswick, NJ ( review ) A night of fun turns into a real disaster, keep away from this place After a very successful day of having a multi-family and friends yard sale it was our cousins birthday and we decided to celebrate and relax at our local chili's. Besides having dinner we discussed going to a movie to relax from a day of selling and walking and talking with hundreds of people at our sale. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 and was promptly seated as I had called ahead. We ordered our drinks and had them arrive in about 15 minutes. This was a little bit of a wait but it was a Saturday night and the the resaurant was about 3/4 filled. We ordered our food and waited, then waited and waited some more....the appertizers came out hap hazardly with some getting them and some not.....so the ten of us shared the first ones and we continued to wait for the rest. We orderded dinner at the same time just after 6:45 and finished our appetizers. Next.....no drink refills.....no dinner......finally about 8:00 PM we asked for the manager and shortly after that dinner came out.....again piece meal .....some receiving their dinner.....others waiting.....we all finished dinner, which finally came after 9:00 PM......now for coffee and deserts......we wanted to skip that, but some of us ordered the two for $35.00 promotion which INCLUDED desert....so once again more waiting......we were tired, the night was shot and we really couldn't do much of anything after 9:30 PM......It was not good all the way around !!! We couldn't laugh it off anymore....we even discussed just walking out and not paying the bill.....mainly because we couldn't even get the bill !!!! The manager came out and offered us free coffee and deserts.....but then came back and said " she couldn't do that!".....She said her name was KAT.....but on the bill the wait person was KAT !!! Curious, I think the manager was trying to blame the wait person. The manager said she would "adjust" the bill.....but as you can see nothing was taken off. We are ten very disgusted customers, who previously liked Chili's. I couldn't even rate this experience one star. We are completely disappointed, we can never get our birthday celebration back and the night turned into a nightMARE! read more

My family and I went here on Saturday night. When we walked in we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait which I was less than thrilled about seeming as it was already 8 pm and I was hungry as well as had a 8 year old child with me, who is not used to eating so late. As I looked around the place there were at least 4 to 5 tables open yet they had not been cleared off at all. We ended up only waiting about 15 minutes so was not terrible but I think was inexcusable seeming as there were empty tables. My mom asked how much certain drinks were as they were not on the menu, he did not know and had to walk over to the bar and ask, should they not have a listing with them if there are not going to list the prices on the menu? My mom and I ordered the 2 for 35$ meal, which we started off with the skinny margaritas, I have no say I have never had a skinny margarita before but this experience totally turned me off from them. It was sweet as can be and left an odd after taste in my mouth. My mom on the other hand had tried them before from other places and said this was not the norm at all. She actually had liked them in other places. For the appetizer we ordered the Tostada Chips & Fire-grilled Corn Guacamole, this on the other hand was very good, however the salsa was sour tasting, not spicy at all, and full of garlic (not appetizing what so ever). For the main entree we ordered Margarita Grilled Chicken and the Mango-Chile Chicken. The Margarita Grilled Chicken was very salty and unflavorful, there was barely any of the pico de gallo on top of it. The mango- chile chicken was also salty and very spicy as well, the piece of chicken was so small it almost seemed like an appetizer portion. The broccoli that came with the dish was so over cooked you could mash it up with your fork. We did ask for another broccoli and this one was slightly better. For the dessert we ordered the molten lava cake and I was so disappointed by it. It seemed to be microwaved so it was hot which made the cake very rubbery. To me it did not even taste like chocolate at all. The ice cream was awful as well and was not even good quality ice cream, I had better ice cream at ice cream bingo at my son's school the night before. My cousin ordered the Fajitas and he said they were good, the only issue with his was he wanted to substitute the rice and beans ( which to my disgust they charge 99 cents for even though the meal is already $12.39) the waiter said it was not going to be an issue and never said it was any extra charge. Well apparently it was seeming as when we got the bill they charged us 2 extra fees in order for him to do that (not the 99 cents but 2.79). We asked the waiter about this charge and his reply was "That was how they billed". We called over the manager and asked him about this. Apparently he was not supposed to substitute it and it was supposed to be a 2.97 charge for the side salad, "the waiter did not know about this", Should they not be trained for this type of thing??. When he spoke to us he was kinda rude as if we were simply complaining to get "something for free". It was almost like he was giving the finger behind his back as we spoke. But of course low and behold that was not our only issue of the night there. One of the servers helpers came to get the bill, he did not even bother to say anything about taking it but swooped under my mom's arm and grabbed the check from under her which actually scared her as her wallet was also sitting right there. I went here for a birthday meal and i was very disappointed. The manager wasn't too friendly and the service was slow. The queso dip was disgusting so we sent it back. The sliders were overcooked so was the ribs. The cajun chicken pasta had no flavor. The noodles weren't cooked long enough. The fries and chips and salsa wete the best things that I had. I definitely won't be back neither will anyone who dined with me. read more

The two stars are for the waiter. I haven't been to Chili's in about 7 years and now I know why. My daughter and I ordered the grilled chicken bowls that come with rice and beans. The rice was par-boiled and cold. The waiter said it has to be cold so the lettuces they throw on top won't wilt. Who ever heard of cold rice and beans. I can get a box of uncle Ben's for two dollars at the store instead of nine dollars for tasteless rice.It's a shame these chain restaurants serve pre made food. I thought this was going to be like the bowls they serve at Moe's, real rice and beans and hot. Never again. read more

Worst service ever. Ever since they got new management, changed the decor and menu the service sucks big. I go there with my daughter and son in law for a meal, I ordered chicken wings and mash potatoes. My daughter and son in law ordered big meals and appetizers. I didn't eat the appetizers and all that time (I was there for an hour) they didn't bring out my wings and I have asked for it 3 times. How freaking hard it is to make wings? Also they thought by bringing me the mash potatoes that was going to satisfy me until I get the wings. What the hell type of logic is that? And when they did bring out the mash potatoes it looked like they scraped the container bottom of the barrel type dry with the dry skin peal you get when you scrape the sides of the container. How f'ing insulting. My daughter had steak and appetizers. When I complained the female manager came out and really didn't do anything to correct it other than to offer me something small and quick to try and satisfy my disappointment. This is the third time in a row that they have screwed me. Last time I got take out and when I got home the order was wrong. I hit the roof. And still they didn't take care of me when I complained. They totally suck and they will not get me or my family business anymore. Worst service I have ever seen. Bring back the old crew. They did a bang up job. This new set sucks balls big time. Yes, Raquel at Chili"s was what needed because I had a lunch with my 4 year old daughter, whom actually suggested Chili's because she wanted some macaroni & cheese and corn !! I had the 3 appetizers combo. She was happy to be with her Daddy having lunch, and Raquel must have recognized I might have my hands full.So, she had food quickly, smiled honestly & warmly, spoke to the little girl. She offerred to package takeout non eaten food, offer napkins, & bring the check quickly. Actually, because of this experience I went to Chili's in Marlton, NJ for take out the next night because Raquel helped your company earn my business that night. Saw advertisement on TV regarding their gourmet-looking hamburgers. The food was good, but the waitress never brought the extra napkins we asked for and never came to our table midway through the meal to see if everything was all right. Upon leaving, we learned that there was a special going on called "3 for Me" which would include 1. House Salad or Tostada Chips & Salsa 2. Choice of one of the three Craft Burgers with home-style fries and 3. Mini Molten Cake...all 3 of these for $10. We ended up paying more than $10 just for the craft burger and fries, when we could have taken advantage of the 3 for Me offer, but out waitress didn't tell us about it. But the menu looked good and we returned the following week. This time, we had Tony as our server. Service was very good and the sirloin steak was very tender and delicious. I ordered "Medium" but received very rare. But it was so tender and tasty, I didn't mind the rareness and ate it. Following week, ordered the sirloin again, "Medium"...this time is was very well done. Still tasty and I ate it, but told the waitress about it and showed her that it was not medium but well done. The sirloin steak is still tasty whether it is rare or well done. Enjoyed the steak so much, wanted to take my son there for his 31st birthday. I telephoned earlier that day, spoke with Tony to make reservations for a nice booth. Tony said he would write everything down and assured me that I would get the nice booth and cake delivered to the table I requested at the end of the meal for my son's 31st birthday. I especially telephoned ahead so that the cake would be a surprise. When arriving. I gave my name and my son's name, told them I spoke with Tony regarding my reservation and was told that reservations are made only if there are 6 or more people. They sat us at a booth next to the kitchen door. It was a terrible location! I then wanted to leave and go to Lago's patio dining which would have better atmosphere than being seated next to the kitchen. But my son said he didn't care and suggested we stay...so we did. I especially told the 2 girls who did the seating that I spoke with Tony who told me that he would make notes and assured me that I would have a memorable birthday celebration with my son. At the end of the meal, the server just brought the check...no cake like I had ordered with Tony. Not only not a good table, but no birthday cake either. So we just left. I don't understand why neither my telephone call earlier that day nor my conversation with the 2 hostesses regarding my reservations through Tony for my son's birthday was overlooked. The place was crowded. But Tony did not tell me that reservations could only be made for 6 or more. I was not only disappointed in our table, but having the birthday cake overlooked as well. What is the use of telephoning ahead of time and speaking to the 2 hostesses at the front door if no one is going to listen or pay attention to you. The food is relatively good, which is why I returned here...but the service has much to be desired. I am very disappointed that my son's birthday celebration there turned out to be a bust. I gave this Chili's several chances, but after this last experience, I don't feel like going back. Lack of customer care. read more

Chillis is a great place to take a loved one or the family. The entres there are delicous and the desert is spectacular Even the appetizers melt in your mouth. It seemed as if both the waiters and the management at this Chili's colluded to provide the worst service possible. The waitress came to our table several times to reconfirm what we ordered, and we didn't receive our entrees until over an hour after we ordered them. We spent one and a half hours here before we got only one of our two entrees, and when we asked to take it to go, the manager handed us a box to box it up ourselves. The manager also attempted to overbill us for an entree we never received as well. It's a wonder that this place is still open. read more

Their "to-go" service is horrible. Don't waste your time and money because you still have to wait 30minutes or more when you get there. This is the second time this has happened to me. If they know that they're not capable of dealing with the additional rush of online pick up they shouldn't offer the service. And I was overcharged, the manager didn't even apologize. The staff seems overwhelmed. The pasta was also burnt but I refuse to return to the restaurant because I don't want to be there all night. i want to say that i recently ate at chili's and had a subpar experience but that would be a lie because i never ate. so rather, i recently watched my friend eat at chili's and i had a subpar experience. there were no issues at the start of the meal, the waitress had our drink out on time & took our order promptly but i never even got the food i ordered. my friend received her meal and the waitress said she would be right back, i assumed with my food but she only came back for a refill on our drinks. i waited a little bit more and nothing was brought out so then i started to look for my waitress, she was no where to be found for a couple minutes until she brought food out for the table next to us. i tried to get her attention but she walked back into the kitchen. a couple more minutes passed and she still hasn't reappeared, nor has anyone else working. after yet another couple minutes she passed by and asked if everything was good not even slowing down to hear a response before rentering the kitchen. eventually she came over with the check and told us to have a great night. so i can't really complain about the food but the service sucked. read more
