I had a chicken parmesan plate with a side of pasta with marinara. Very good flavors. The chicken under all of that cheese and marinara remained crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The minestrone soup as a starter for my dinner was o.k. Not much else. My overall opinion is that I would like to go back and try more. This place is very good. And I think most people may be overlooking a good dining spot in Vegas.

Prior to receipt of my sandwich, I polished off six very tasty crispy Potstickers. Their taste was further enhanced after being dipped in Soy Chili Dipping Sauce. And Diane mainly ate an appetizer of Fried Shrimp and Calamari. While the Potstickers were as large and numerous as before, the Fried Shrimp and Calamari were much smaller in size and number than we had been served on previous locations. I also enjoyed a Cup of Chili that packed a lot of heat. Diane received French Fries that were very seasoned after she had specifically asked for no seasoning. But our server informed her that the French Fries in issue were received by the restaurant the way they were served to her. She was allowed to substitute a very good batch of really good golden Tater Tots instead.

My husband was like ok, but before he say anything about it further, she was like said, enjoy your meal and left. I felt that the experience could have been handled a little bit better. I've recently moved back to the north side of town and have been going back to this bar. Was just accused of "hovering over the button" after putting $300 into the machines within 2 hours!!!! Are you fucking kidding me!!!! Apparently this was the "manager" of the bar according to google. I have never been accused of this in my life in a bar!!! I play pool competitively and in bars all the time. I threw my cash out plus the tip on my the bar and was told "have a good night". My father's celebration of life was even at this bar after being a customer from the time they opened til he passed away!!!! At least 25 years worth of business!! I cannot believe the disrespect I just got from this bartender/manager. I'm literally disgusted and will never be back to the Sundance. I never ask for my drinks to be comped. I always ask the bartender what I owe even if I know I've played enough. Which I did with the bartender before this ass hat and she said I was fine. The burger was very small, but for $7.77 what can you expect? The service was not so great. The bar was a bit busy, so the bartender did not check on us often. I tried the Apple Pecan Salad with added Salmon. The salmon was prepared moist to a nice medium and was seasoned nicely. The salad was made of soft greens, fresh cut apple, blue cheese, a generous amount of candied pecans and cranberries with citrus dressing on the side. It really was very good. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. I am guessing that maybe the kitchen made an error because our receipt does read chicken fried steak but they accidentally served hime chicken fried chicken. (it is possible that a wrong plate could have been picked up too) He didn't say anything because we were sitting with our neighbors and didn't want to make any disturbance. But more importantly he enjoyed the chicken fried chicken very much and would be happy to order it again. Not 100% perfect but all four of us enjoyed the food. Portions were large and prices were very reasonable. Parking is close and easy.

Village Pub is a cozy neighborhood pub with a separate non-smoking dining area, which we really appreciated. We both ordered the steak and eggs, and wow--everything was cooked exactly as requested. The steaks were tender and flavorful, the eggs were perfect, and the portions were generous. It was one of those meals where every bite reminds you why simple food done right is so good. The pork was tender, green chili has flavor but none of the spiciness. Eggs super fluffy and man do they load on the Colby jack! This was an ok meal. Certainly not the best but it hits the spot. The gravy was good and thick with a nice peppery flavor, texture was on point. Didn't care for the biscuit, though. Crumbly and dry with the same taste and ingredients as the pancakes. These are not homemade. Bacon was rubbery and chewy. I tend to like my bacon crispy to the bite. I keep forgetting to request it that way, doh! Although, I honestly feel this is low quality bacon....just saying. All in all, I feel the service and ambiance is there but for this meal itself seems to fall short, especially, for the price. Now I know why I see mailers for this place every month since this place can get spendy! This meal cost over $21 without beverage (I got water), a bit too steep in my honest opinion considering other available options. That's including the sales tax (of course) and a tip. Apparently, they also add an upcharge percentage for using plastic...mine was $.71, bummer. Upon first impression, an ok place to go to eat and socialize with good service but expect to pay more than the average here for ok quality food.
