Dinner with my mother & friend. I really don't go to Chili's but we seen the 3 for $10 special on tv. You get a drink, salad, soup or chips/ salsa & entree. It wasn't very crowded but we waited 5 to 10 minutes before we sitted. The waitress was ok. Everytime we needed something we had to keep asking other employees for it then they go get her. We got a strawberry lemonade which was watered down with no favor. I changed it out for a mango tea which tasted much better. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta but I got the cajun on the side and house salad with ranch. The pasta was good. It had alfredo sauce on it. It was fulling. My mother had chicken crispers, fries & corn on the cob. You also get a free drink if you join the reward program. Kids can play unlimited games for $2. read more

I call to place an order with your staff however, stay said I could not place the order over the phone. They said I had to place the Oder online. When I tried to place the order it would not let me substitute on item for another. I told the employee that and she simply to me she could not fulfill my order. I took my daughter out to Chillis as a last meal together before she went off to boot camp. It was a Monday afternoon. Since it was veterans day it was fairly busy. Our server was polite, answered any questions that I had and made recommendations, I was impressed with the service considering how many tables she was waiting on. The wait on our entrees was a bit long but it was busy and our food did come out and tasted like it was freshly made. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was very good. The minute I came in the host was away from the booth cleaning tables. We waitted 15 before they came to sit us. The host told us to wait because he was going to clean our table. Then the tablet was wiggling and the food was cold. Did not like the service. I ordered appetizers and they never provided us with the appetizer plates. Also asked the waiter for a box to take some leftovers and never came back with the request. They need to train the staff properly to be able to attend the customers needs. read more

Oof...where to begin. Let me start by saying back of house has never been the issue here. Food is always fairly quick for the labor shortage and presented well and hot. Front of house the last two visits have been a mess. Our server/bartender... Erica, I believe is what the check said, (she never introduced herself) both visits she has been useless as a server. It took three trips to our table to remember our waters. (both visits) the first visit she continuously asked us if we wanted more drinks or if we needed anything. Not in an attentive server way but almost like a bad type of Alzheimer's way. If she was attentive she'd recognize our body language that were in the middle of our meal and we don't need anything. If we had a dollar for each time she's apologized to us or the people around us for forgetting something or messing up, it could easily have paid for our bill. The last time I really enjoyed this location was when the bartender/lounge server was a younger skinny guy, don't remember his name but he needs to come back or I'd love to have the days he works on. She was so busy, making service drinks, guest drinks, running food, taking orders, taking tables, welcoming guests at the door, and a ton of other things and she did it ALL with a smile and good attitude. This is my friend's favorite restaurant. She always orders the same dish. She's not too adventurous when it comes to food which is OK. I, on the other hand, love every type of food, including American type fare. This was an appetizer day for me so I had fried asparagus with aioli sauce and homemade guacamole and chips. The asparagus was delicious. Lightly battered and still a little crispy. The guacamole was freshly made with bits of tomato and onion. The chips were some of the best I've ever had. I'm really disappointed. This used to be our go to restaurant, but in the last year this location has really taken a nose dive. I'll start with the positive...our server. When she did come around, she was nice and funny. The bar drinks were delicious. The cheeseburger sliders and fajitas were delicious. The negatives...the place was not busy at all, but it took our server almost 30 min to take our food order, an another 40 minutes to bring our food. We were not a large party and 3 of the 4 of us ordered appetizers as our meal. The people that ordered diet cokes were surprised that they were super flat when they arrived. It was only then that the waitress said that they ran out, so they're using 2 liter bottles instead. That should've been mentioned when ordering, not after. Chilis has removed the one thing we looked forward to...the spinach artichoke dip, and replaced it with a queso with spinach. Our server said it was the same thing. Translation: white queso with a little spinach sprinkled on the top, a dollop of guacamole and tomatoes. I'm not sure how that's even remotely close. The triple dipper deal used to be under $10 with a large selection of items to choose from. Now it's almost $12 with only a few items to choose from. The food was just ok. My house salad was wilted, the dip was ok, the rice that came with the fajitas was half cooked, half dry and crunchy, you now have to order the fajita fixings (cheese, sour cream, etc.) separately as they do not come with it. Unless you're going for the drink specials & an appetizer, I'd suggest spending your money elsewhere. read more

First time here even though I live nearby. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The burgers ordered were a little over cooked, but not dry and still tasty. The fries were good, but nothing to write home about. We ordered fried pickles and they had good flavor if you could get past the saltiness. We have them often and expect them to be salty, but these were too salty. I couldn't eat them. The onion petals were greasy, but the egg rolls and the Big Mouth bites were tasty. It was nice that no music was blaring so we could carry on a conversation. Would I come back? Sure and try something else. I will start by saying our waitress Jenais, made our meal at Chili's way better. We ordered drinks and food and the drinks were great and so was Jenais but, our food came out frozen so she went ahead and had the chefs make us new plates. She brought us our second plates and they were great. Honestly if it wasn't for her, we probably would have left disappointed. I know it's just a chili's but she was so polite and so kind even when the kitchen was to blame. I hope she gets recognition for her great service! I come here almost once a week. I usually get nice people at the To Go area. Tonight was a bad experience. I was coming here to pick up some food after work. I had to walk in (which is no big deal) but my issue is that there were two girls who came from the back and started messing with the register. They both completely ignored me for a good 10 minutes. Didn't even acknowledge me standing right there. A simple "I'll be right with you." Would've been cool. Then they both disappear to the back. Another comes out about 5 minutes later and very rudely says "What's the name on the order?". Long story short, she brings me my food and I tell her thank you and she looks at me, ignores me, and walks away. No "have a goodnight" nothing. You need to train your employees to be more personable or to work in a different field that does not involve any customer service. This kind of behavior is enough to scare away good costumers. read more

The food was good. Our waiter was okay. He seemed very lost in his order of things. My boy friend and I were out for dinner. He was not happy about his food at all. He ordered the smoke house combo. One the dish he only got a slice of brisket. This meal was very pricey for the little amount of food he had received. The fries that came with the dish were also stale. He was very unsatisfied. My dish was good. Nothing wrong with it. Just as I ordered. We also ordered the bottomless chip and salsa. We only got one dish of that even though it was clearly empty. I am not regularly a franchise type of person...i love eating local. But sometimes u just want to go with what u kno and I def kno Chilis...I've been all up and down the east coast and overseas and every chilis i've been to is always up to par; I always leave satisfied...not the case here. I was turned off as soon as I walked n...the floor smelled horrible, like there had been a flood and instead of replacing the carpet or even investing in a 5 star cleaning, they just let it dry. I could smell every foot that ever walked on that floor, and it smelled like they were all barefoot sweaty obese ppl who did it. Needless to say, I love chilis and tried not to let the smell dissuade me because as I said, chilis always delivers. The host didnt welcome me, just asked if I was the only one in my party and signaled for me to follow her...then the phone rang and 2 other customers walked in. Instead of first showing me to my seat and having someone else deal with the phone and customers, she gave me the "hold on" finger, told the other customers she will b with them in a min and answered the phone with no apology. I eat at Chili's all around the U.S. - different Chili's around the Jacksonville / Orange Park area, Metro Denver, California, etc. and this is the very worst in terms of both service and food quality. I tend to eat the same dish most of the time, so comparing quality is easy - and I have eaten at this Chili's quite a few times including carry-out three or four times. I finally quit going there when my family just couldn't choke down the food. We still go to chili's - just not this one. (although the food quality at the Chili's on Baymeadow is almost as bad). read more
