This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had. Our party consisted of 12 people with six separate checks. We clearly explained how the checks needed to be split, and the server even numbered everyone. Despite that, the checks had to be corrected multiple times before they were finally accurate. Even then a few checks were wrong but at that point we decided it wasn't worth the time wasted to correct it. The food service was also poorly handled. The children's meals did not come out first, and some members of our party waited approximately 20 minutes longer than others to receive their food. By the time everyone had their meals, some people were already finished eating. The most concerning issue involved a steak that was delivered to the wrong guest. After that guest had already touched the plate, the server attempted to give the same plate to the person who had actually ordered it. We requested a fresh plate because once food has been served to the wrong person, it should not simply be passed to someone else. Throughout the evening, the server was rude and appeared annoyed whenever issues were brought to her attention. At one point, after walking away from our table, she was visibly huffing and puffing and said "bullshit" within earshot of our party. It seemed there was more concern about taking smoke breaks than ensuring our orders and checks were correct. We remained respectful throughout the meal, but the level of service, professionalism, and attention to food handling standards fell far below what I would expect from LongHorn Steakhouse. My spouse and I came here for dinner, April waited on us, I'd give her 5 stars, perfect service. She was friendly but mature about it. No fake smiles, no bored demeanor of some waitresses that just try to get through their shift. She was attentive, helpful, and warm. We couldn't have asked for more. As for the food, we started with the complimentary bread and butter. It was hard to cut but we didn't come for the bread. Everything else we ordered was absolutely mouth watering. My fav salad, Ceasar, was great. The seafood chowder, delicious. My husband ordered the filet and lobster, they were outstanding. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp, both wonderful! Although I do like my medium-rare steak a tad more on the rare side, it really didn't take away from the flavor. The cinnamon sugared and buttered sweet potato was out of this world. Even the rice was good. Needless to say, we couldn't fit dessert so we had to forgo it but we were completely satisfied. It was our 18th wedding anniversary, we are new to the area and didn't know where else to go. I think we chose wisely and will be back. read more

Came for lunch on Tuesday Sept. 2. Food was ok. This restaurant needs a remodel and a good cleaning. Table tops are worn and covered with scratches. We had a little bit of a wait in lobby but were happily entertained by another little guest dancing. The decor is cute Longhorn Western themed and restaurant is clean. Our server was great and brought our drinks and fresh bread quickly. We ordered an appetizer and got to fully enjoy it before our salad arrived. Sadly we wanted the Porterhouse that they were out of so we enjoyed a Ribeye instead (my dog thoroughly enjoyed the bone too). We enjoyed our meals and had enough for lunch the next day. We absolutely love Longhorns of Orange Park. The food is to die for. Hospitality is fantastic. Everyone are so nice and helpful. Such a wonderful experience. Michelle was an excellent server and lead from the heart! What a kind person and we even shared an vidalia onion recipe before we even ordered! I am so gonna make that! Ok about the food - we ordered the Renegade Sirloin and the Flo's Filet and I must say - The Filet wins - not that the sirloin wasn't good its just when eaten side by side its the filet that when cut is like butter ( order medium rare for this effect ) I also got two sides a side strawberry salad and Brussel spouts. THE SALAD WAS MASSIVE! It literally made me worry I wouldn't have room for the entree - but I was fine and here's why - It was served way before the filet came out - so we had enough time to eat this mega salad then enjoy a digestion period then our steaks arrived! First of all this place reeked so bad!!! It smelled like old dirty mop water but I was informed that it was the carpet and it will be getting replaced on Thursday. We recently had a late lunch here around three o'clock. We were promptly seated upon arrival. A waitress also arrived at our table immediately. Our party each had a ribeye steak, which came with one side. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. One party had a loaded baked potato for a side, and the other party had the crispy Brussel sprouts. Both sides were very good. Overall, it was a very nice experience. read more

I had an okay experience. I went to Long Horn on Argyle for lamb chops and they didn't have lamb chops. I ordered The Longhorn Porterhouse steak and asked them to cook it between medium rare and medium and they couldn't do it. So I said medium. Some areas of the steak were cooked medium well. The steak wasn't seasoned well. I added more salt and pepper to it. The sweet potato and side of mushrooms were good. Waitress was nice but kinda slow. read more

It's sad how bad this place has gotten. Few things: 1) when you go to a steakhouse you expect the steaks to be cooked as ordered. The table should not have had to send ALL of the ordered steaks back because of being overcooked. All of them. 2) when you sit in the booth right next to the hostess podium you can hear the staff. That includes the manager who speaks not only very brash and rudely to said staff but clearly is only concerned with speed of flipping booths. Never once did we see the manager personally given multiple issues with our orders. Am I surprised given what I've witnessed? No. Did I witness any semblance of professionalism from that manager? No. Does it speak volumes about the establishment? Yes. 3) when two women are affectionately sitting together on the same side of the table sharing a meal...don't ask us if we want one check or two at the end of the meal. I had my head on my wife's shoulder holding her hand when we were asked. I mean, come on. If you still don't know, in this case assume...bring one check. So a meal that should have been pleasant and only have taken maybe an hour-ish took double the time with a ton of frustration. Hope y'all do better in the future but I won't be back read more

For lunch (9/19/2023) I enjoyed the "White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms" for an appetizer and the "Half Pound Steakhouse Cheeseburger Combo" with french fries for an entree. The stuffed mushrooms were full of taste and flavor. It was like heaven in my mouth. As for the burger combo, it was off the charts delicious! Perfectly cooked and the lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresher than I've ever seen them anywhere. This wonderful meal alongside a Chucky movie marathon on SyFy made my day spectacular. read more

Visited LongHorn with some girlfriend for lunch. I order the Red Rock with tomato glaze sauce with rice and a side of broccoli. It was delicious! The broccoli was cooked well. The server Cindy was awesome! The restaurant looks a bit dated and the blinds near the booths could use dusting. read more

Moved to Argyle recently and thought I would try out Longhorns as I'm from Cali and mine was amazing customer service and food. I go to this one in my neighborhood and sat at the bar for over 15 minutes. No one acknowledged me at all. I know they were probably short handed as is everyone else but for me being the only person actually at the bar it was disappointing. 3 employees looked at me and could have at least said we will be with you shortly. I really enjoy this particular Longhorn. It's smaller than others, but more intimate. We came here for my husband's birthday dinner and used the gift card I received at a Yelp event here that I had been saving just for this. Our waiter, Allen (Alan?), was so perfectly charming, and made our evening perfect. My husband had the large margarita which, in my opinion, is about the size of 3 servings. He loved it. Lol We all split the Roasted White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer which was really good. Very cheesy but the mushrooms were still firm and not mushy. My daughter had the Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger which she loved. My husband had the Delmonico which was the most perfect steak ever, in his opinion. I had a Renegade Sirloin, perfectly cooked. The sides were all great as well. When Allen found out it was my husband's birthday, he said our dessert, the Key Lime Pie Jar, was complimentary. First time at this location. We expected it to be like the other locations. We had unusually long wait to be seated, and it went downhill from there...everything took longer here. I told my husband that this is why it's called " Long" horn. Waited to have our order taken... waited longer for drink refill, for our food.. and then waited an extra long time to get the check... It wasn't even that busy! The Ambiance was stressful. The busboy was cleaning a table like it was punishment, and he flung a steak knife across the floor as he clashed plates into a pile... a man at a table near ours yelled at him to " cool it!" We should have left . This is the worst Longhorn I have ever been to. Who cares how good the food is of you can't enjoy it. We ate,paid, and left. Won't return.
