We do love Texas Roadhouse! We've been to this location a lot! My only complaint and negative comment is about the loud music playing (inside and outside)! It's so loud it's actually hard to carry on a conversation at the table. We found ourselves almost yelling back and forth when talking with each other. I told my wife it's like eating dinner at a night club! We had 8 of us tonight for dinner celebrating our granddaughter's 14th birthday. This was the place she picked. Tonight I ordered the 8oz New York Strip (for the first time here). I usually order the Ribeye which is my favorite but I wanted to try something different. The New York Strip had nice flavor and seasoned just right but honestly doesn't compare to the Ribeye! I was very excited tonight because they finally remembered to bring the fries out on a separate basket instead of directly on top of the steak which instantly made them soggy. I HATE soggy fries and always send them back even though I specifically asked for them to be served separately. Tonight they got it right hallelujah! My wife and daughter ordered the Salmon and sweet potato which they loved. Another positive & negative thing that happened tonight; the power went off for here for 5 seconds which cut the music off for 15 minutes. I told my wife "hey we can finally talk and hear each other". The negative was it cut the internet off for a few minutes which caused us to have to wait to pay our bill. The line is usually out the door because well it's pretty dam good. The staff always seem friendly and happy, food comes out fast and hot! Beer is always ice cold. I usually get the filet with fries and green beans, the green beans are great!! I have tried the chili it's not very good but I'm also a chili snob. My wife orders the rib eye, which she really likes. However I'm not sure who's cutting the steaks but the last two times she has ordered a rip eye they gave her a New York strip. She said it was good, just not what she ordered. We usually sit at the bar so we don't have to wait in the long line. Uncle John's favorite place, so we went to TRH. Started with the rolls and that amazing butter...mmmm and an old fashion. Wife had the filet baked potato and salad...she loved it. Busy place on a Saturday night. They really need more than two benches outside because we waited an hour. It is very loud inside so be prepared. Service was great especially with how busy they were. Tasty food made to order! This is our favorite of all the standard chain steak houses. Great steaks, chicken, and shrimp. I usually cant pick just one so I get a combo of all 3! The "Road kill" is a nice plate on the less expensive side of the entrees available. Its chopped steak, smothered with sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, and jack cheese. It's a busy place so you may have a small weight depending upon the time you arrive. There is always a line every day they open so we usually arrive about 45 minutes to an hour after if we're looking for lunch. I received a coupon for a free appetizer or sidekick because my birthday is coming up, so of course I had to use it to get a free cactus blossom! I got a side of ranch, because it's delicious! Also, I LOVE the yeast rolls with the honey butter. Tonight I decided to get grilled chicken, green beans, and a baked potato to try to balance out the half of the blossom and ranch I devoured. We eat here at least twice and mostly 3 times a month since this place opened and have picked a steak since the display case was put in. There's been more than a couple occasions where my wife and I picked steaks and thought what we got was different than what we ordered and we saw proof of that a week ago when the steak we picked still had our red tag on it when we were leaving the resteraunt. Service has been hit or miss the last couple of years. Items missed, food served cold or wrong item. Don't know what changed other than it seems to be a constant rotation of employees. My family of 3 all ordered steaks. 3 different cuts. All 3 were WAY OVER SALTED!! My son's medium rare one was more like rare but still edible. My mother had the sirloin. She asked for medium ("pink in the center") and it was well done. I ordered the Ribeye medium as well. Mine was more like medium well-well; no pink. Also our cuts were very thin and tough. I have had ribeye that can be cut with a butter knife. This was not the case with mine. When we asked for the manager, she came over and her apology did not seem sincere and she just made excuses that the cuts of sirloin they have been getting have not been good. She did offer to recook them, but if the cuts are not good, why would we want another one? She did not take any of them off the bill or at least give a discount. At least my dog will enjoy the $100 steaks we brought home for him! Will have to rinse the salt off first!! Not sure I will be going back there. read more

I took my wife out for our anniversary we ordered our dinner and asked for the salad to come out withour stakes and that didn't happen we got them 40 minutes before our meal. what we got was an hour wait just to have our stakes over cooked. Oh well, moving on, we placed our orders and ILO a $45 meal (the special) it ended up being over $100. BUT, the real issue was our steaks. Ribeye and filet were so salty they would 'burn' the top of my mouth. I told the mgr, Morgan, about it and she said they're required to season them a certain way and I told her this wasn't just seasoning, it was like pure salt! I can't even eat it and she said next time tell them you want light seasoning on it and she walked away. There won't be a next time with the poor quality of food and this mgr's attitude. The only thing that kept them from a five star review was the wait for the rolls up front. Todays visit to Texas Roadhouse was a very pleasant visit. I loved the way they had everything decorated for the season as soon as you entered setting the tone for a nice lunch. The waitress was prompt and courteous. She went above and beyond with bringing extra drinks before I asked. The peach tea was quite good. I also had the pleasure of enjoying a house salad with fresh veggies, and a great steak and fries cooked exactly as ordered.
