    New queso

The new queso was not good at all. It was too watery with no cheese flavor. The fajitas though were very good and the male bartender was very nice and polite.

Sirloin steak with garlic butter mushroo.s and steamed broccoli

What a treat. Had a great bariatric meal that was just enough healthy food and tasted great. My 6 oz. Sirloin Steak was cooked perfectly and so nicely seasoned. My sides were garlic butter mushrooms which stole the show and steamed broccoli which was cooked to soft texture and went down nicely. Good to know that this place does have healthy options for those who don't want the fried stuff.

Our group of five was trying to get a quick dinner in before seeing a movie. We were sat right away, our waitress was fantastic and took really good care of us. She was friendly, funny, and attentive. We did all apps for quick eating and it came out fast and hot. A few of my group got drinks and they also were really quick from the bar. The manager even came by and made sure we were doing okay, which we were. We were able to get a good meal in and still make our movie on time. Restaurant was clean, not too over air conditioned and bathrooms were kept up.

Have been here many times, being in the neighborhood and loved the overall experience. Overall I would recommend this place. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: In our multiple visits we have never been disappointed as such with food and drinks. Except maybe last visit when Espresso martini was not the best that I have tried ever. Service: Servers have been mostly very welcoming especially our last visit and pleasant experience. Ambiance: Clean restaurant and has nice interiors as well. No complaint as such here. Price: Maybe a little above average but for dine-in needs these are worth it for a good evening. I would not go here every day but wouldn't mind being here occasionally.

This is the side house salad. Not even half the cup was full.

This must have been an off night...I hope so, anyway. My husband and I ordered a pick-up meal from this location. He requested a medium to well done hamburger with chili. Chili was like black paste. I'm thinking the cook forgot to add some key ingredient because all it was this seasoning and paste. The burger was pink inside. I ordered chicken tenders with a side house salad. The tenders must have been refried as they were tough and stringy. The salad came in a paper cup.....not even half a cup. Very disappointed as it should have been an easy meal.

We visited on a Friday evening - Friday the 13th of January. Kim was behind the bar, extremely slammed, his peer called out, no management presence. Nonetheless she did it gracefully. Please get a manager on the floor or behind the bar to help this poor woman.

The sliders were very moist and delicious. My wife had the steak and avocados. It too was good. Staff was very friendly too.

For a healthy option, we chose the egg whites and the multigrain toast without butter. The toast with blueberry preserves was delicious. Kudos to Lilly! She deserves her four stars and more! the hash brown casserole was undercooked and she brought us a perfectly prepared batch. Lilly was sunshine and flowers. Her bubbly personality made our dining experience. She made a joke about her nickname Silly Lilly, but in truth, she is Lovely Lilly. We spoke to the manager about how she made our meal special! We told him to give us a minute so we could look at the menu. He came back four times in five minutes. When we ordered, most of the things we got he said was an "up charge". On regular items... My date got the steak and shrimp combo with steak fries and bacon, macaroni and cheese. I got the meatloaf with salad and okra. For dessert, we ordered the carrot cake with one scoop of ice cream, which also was an up charge for the ice cream. And we only got a half a scoop. Everything from the main meal, was very bland and room temperature. The meatloaf and the okra both left a weird film in my mouth and had a weird aftertaste to it. The okra was very soggy. My boyfriend actually googled how to identify printed meat because this steak was kind of questionable. The carrot cake and the shrimp were the only two things that had any real flavor to them. They were the only things that tasted like what Cracker Barrel used to taste like. Very disappointed actually. Cracker Barrel used to feel like visiting family and had real home cooking. This tasted like bad cafeteria food.

This location in Chandler is huge with both inside and outside seating for a very comfortable experience. They also feature live music with local And some traveling artists. To give credit where it's due, the ambience of the restaurant was great. The live music was enjoyable and the dancing created a fun atmosphere. The women's restroom was also impressive -- clean, well stocked, and the mirror with the neon sign made for a great photo moment. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the setting. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and, at times, came across as outright rude. I understand the pressures of working in a busy restaurant, but hospitality is still the foundation of the service industry. I actually found myself going out of my way to "kill her with kindness" just to avoid receiving the same snarky tone she used with some of my friends. It worked -- she was civil with me -- but it shouldn't take that level of effort from guests. The food was where things really fell apart. The buffet setup was poorly executed. The foil buffet pans repeatedly slipped into the chafing water, which ended up soaking the food. Any experienced food service professional knows the proper way to handle this: bring the replacement pan first and swap them out simultaneously. Instead, the staff removed the empty pans and walked back to the kitchen, leaving empty slots in the buffet while guests waited. As a result, several dishes were compromised. The mac and cheese was completely runny, clearly diluted from water getting into the pan. This happened to multiple items. The fried pickles were also a miss -- not crispy, extremely salty and sour, and tasted like low-quality hamburger dill pickle chips that had been breaded and fried. No one at our table enjoyed them and several people commented that they were far too tangy. There also seemed to be serious communication issues between the kitchen and the floor staff. Buffet items were frequently empty and slow to be replaced. The "salad," if you could call it that, was essentially a bowl of lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers, or vegetables -- just plain greens. Toward the end of service, the restaurant even ran out of dinner plates, leaving remaining guests to use small salad plates. The only items I somewhat enjoyed were the margarita pizza flatbread and the bacon jalapeño wontons, which were decent but nothing memorable. Beyond that, my meal consisted mostly of a bowl of very uninspired lettuce. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, it genuinely pains me to leave such a critical review. I don't write this out of spite, but out of hope that management sees it as an opportunity to evaluate what's happening on the floor and in the kitchen. There is clearly potential here given the atmosphere and entertainment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.
