I'm a big Chili's fan in general, but curbside pick up at this location is a straight-up joke. They literally had no intention of bringing our meal out to the car. 3 other people getting take out walked out of the restaurant with their food. Ok so this is another chain.. Typical. The got my order wrong. No surprise there. I can't understand why .. If you request no onion ... You get onions. It was a simple order. Burger please NO ONION. The place was also filthy. The girl cleaning the tables just wiped everything on to the floor and seats. Not going back. We go here every few weeks ago and the service has always been great. Never too long of a wait for a table. We've also sat at the bar and received quick service. Staff is able to accommodate slight modifications as needed. Four stars instead of five as I have had a problem with the lettuce on two occasions and had to send it back. Wound up ordering other things instead each time. No problems with anything else though. read more

The New Look of Chili's in Ramsey is stunning. A fresh look on the outside very clean and bright. When you walk into the bar area, you are greeted with a wall of 42 inch HD TV's. There is not a bar in the area with this type of setup, it is the number one choice in Ramsey, Mahwah, Allendale to catch the game. I will be watching the Euro final here on Sunday. They have added some new items to the menu, my favorite remains the dry rub ribs. read more

I love their food and you can get two for one wines which is a great deal. I think my favorite part about Chili's though is that there is that table device that lets you play games while you wait and then lets you pay when your ready. I think its a great help to the server as well as to the customer. Our service was excellent, I have never had issues when going to this chilis with my server or how my food was done. Yikes. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the manager rectified the situation appropriately and for that they deserve an extra star. This could be a great spot for lunch, they offer lunch combos ranging from $6-$8. You can start off with soup/salad and then pick an entrée, good deal. I ordered the baked potato soup and it was pretty good. I would say it was very good but it had a ton of raw chunks of onion in it and it was overwhelming. Side note, my drink did not come until my soup did, which was at least 10 minutes. I was really thirsty too, ugh. Anyway, its unfortunate that the soup had all that onion, because otherwise it was appetizing. For my entrée I went with the smoked chicken quesadillas. The description sounded really good, with sautéed red and green bell peppers, caramelized onions, jack cheese and jalapeno aioli sauce. At a first glance I wasn't too thrilled as it seemed to be very crispy and when I actually touched the quesadillas, they were almost rock hard. Next up I take a bite into it and find that there was barely any chicken, extremely skimpy...but I ate it. I did dip it in the jalapeno aioli sauce (which was alright, nothing to brag about). The next piece seemed super flat, so I opened it up and there was NO chicken inside of it. I am not exaggerating, NO chicken. When the waiter finally decided to come back and check up on us, I informed him about my gripe with the food. He sent a manager over (cant remember his name) but he immediately was apologetic and comp'd the entire meal. I was extremely happy with the quality of his customer service, he definitely did the right thing, so hats off to him. Not sure if I'll come back here, could have been an off day or could just be poor quality overall, I don't know. Went in with a group of colleagues last night while all on a business trip. We all needed itemized, separate checks and I was very impressed with our server and the team work of the other staff helping her out. I had buffalo wings and enjoyed them however most of the others weren't overly impressed with there food and we agreed it was average for a chain restaurant. I have to say I had a pretty decent experience here. I came here to take my mom out for lunch (her pick). The waitress was extremely bubbly and attentive. Everything went smoothly, the drinks the food etc. It was pretty cool to be able to order our dessert using the little tablet at the table, and to check out that way as well we were able to leave pretty quickly. I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and my mother ordered the salmon that came with rice and broccoli. To me the food was average like any other chain. There is nothing special about this Chili's. It's quite ordinary and is exactly what you would expect when you go out to eat in one. The staff is courteous and the food was brought out in a timely manner. I wanted to write this review to advise diners in the Mid to Northern Bergen county area that this Chili's is much less of a hassle compared to the one at the Garden State Plaza. This experience alone makes me not want to go back to any Chilis. The night started off ok with our waitress taking about 5-6 minutes after we sat down to finally greet us and then walk away after only taking a drink order. After calling after her to put in an app order since we had already been waiting, it still took another few minutes to get our drinks (2 sodas and a water). Then everything went downhill. My boyfriend ordered the fajitas, but the peppers and onions came out barely cooked, essentially still raw. Our waitress didnt deliver our food nor did she come back to check on us. At one point, the manager walked by asking each table about their food. My boyfriend expressed his displeasure and the manager either pretended not to hear or just didnt care and left to another table. When our waitress finally came back over, I was about half way done with my meal and my boyfriend had barely touched his food. He explained to the waitress the food was undercooked and she sent the manager back over. The manager did offered to recook his food, however we did not have time to wait for a new entree to be made. The manager then tried to simply offer a free dessert. When we both turned this down, stating we didnt have time and my boyfriend dis not want his meal at all the manager responded with, "Im sorry, I will take care of that for you." After that, I waited to grab the check. Again, our waitress no where to be seen. After another 6-7 minutes of waiting, I finally managed to flag down our waitress to get the check, who again tried to push the free dessert. I turned it down, again, asking only for the check. When presented with the check, my boyfriends meal was still on the receipt. We didnt have time to wait anymore so we were forced to pay the full bill. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in the food industry (5+ years experience between us both serving and bartending). To say we were disgusted by this experience is an understatement. I use to love coming to this chili's. I was a frequent customer and knew the best waitresses and waiters by name. It was a few months since I've been there, and I have gone back in a few times now and the food hasn't been thats great. Food takes forever to come out regardless of what's ordered. It's been coming out undercooked and then over cooked or burnt. As I do every single time I'm in there. I ordered my favorite appetizer Which is their Loaded boneless wings. They come with melted shredded cheese, queso, and bacon on top. Well the shredded cheese wasn't melted. (No big deal right? Send it back quickly melt the cheese and bring it back to us... Atleast you would think! Well 20 minutes later the waiter comes over and asks "the boneless wings haven't come out yet?" As replied with they did but they weren't cooked right. So he goes to check on them and the manager brings them out all burnt! I was pretty pissed off. But who do you complain too when the manager is the one who brought it out to you?) I think management changed or stopped giving a sh*t. Either way I'm not sure I would return to this particular one. read more

This place is ok but I won't be back. The food is chain quality so didn't expect much. Though I will say the nachos were deff off putting that the give u 8 chips for $7.00. The one star is for service and the Ziosk machine. I found the service to be terrible I basically had to beg to get a refill of water from the manager who than didn't even come back with it rather a different server altogether. Than I found the Ziosk machine to be very off putting. First I really don't like the fact that the machine has a camera in it while it's on the table, It is really my main reason for never going back there again. First they didn't wipe it down it was very dirty and a little sticky. I don't like the fact that they say order drinks and desert off of it but than the waitress still asks for both before and after dinner anyway. Also was extremely ticked off that at the end of your meal they tell you to pay through the machine instead of taking the card and swiping it for you, now yes this can be convenient, but it should not automatically put the tip at 15% I personally like to leave the cash and it would not let me leave $0.00 on my card. After going to this establishment for several years it's sad to see the utter down turn of what was once a relatively okay place to grab a quick bite. The last three times I've been there and needed a high chair, the chairs come to the table absolutely filthy. We have to wipe them down with Lysol wipes which usually take anywhere from 8-10 to get most of the grime and gunk off of them. Each of these three visits, we have complained to management that the high chairs are extraordinarily dirty and they always blame it on the shift before. Hey manager, it's happening in your watch. I don't care what shift didn't do their job. Today was the last straw. Ordered a side of beans and rice which came to me cold only to send it back and have the second attempt even colder. The lack of management overseeing some real basic things leads me to the belief that as dirty as their high chairs are and the lack of proper temperature for food, means a dirty kitchen and lack of concern for the health and welfare of their customers. The manager even told me that someone he's trusted 'for 10 years to clean things, has disappointed him. Really? Pretty sure that the managers cavalier attitude has led to such a pitiful excuse as a restaurant. I wish I could say it was just one manager but unfortunately it has been the attitude of several managers. Wonder what the chilis franchise would say to these representatives of their brand? The staff here is so attentive and fabulous. Our club has come here for more than 5 years as a tradition. We come in as a huge group about 6 times a year and they are always the place we to go to. Not only is every member of the staff ready to help you with whatever you need, they are patient and caring. They bend over backwards ensuring that we have the best experience, just tonight they helped us split a long check with over 40 people's orders by tables and they didn't even complain or get a negative attitude. The food is also delicious and the memories created priceless. They even partake in the group energy and are sweet as can be. We love the fact that as regulars, the servers at our local Chilis know which drinks we want, and usually which appetizers we will order. We also love the new 2/$20 menu, although we wish there were more choices, especially healthy choices. Ordered the enchiladas. After I ate it, I started to become very sick. I looked at one of the pieces of chicken & part of it was pink. I think I got a mild case of salmonella poisoning.
