Overall - Stone & Rail is SUCH a cool place to see a live show, especially a band that's considered 'big' for this type of venue. It's cozy and intimate, and you have an amazing view of the stage from wherever you post up. They also have multiple bars, so it's not hard to get a drink. Unfortunately there were a few disappointing things about this experience. Tickets were $50 bucks (pretty steep for a small place) and the band was advertised to play from 8-10 and only played from 8-9. Food and drink prices were also extremely steep, like $20+ for an order of flatbread, wings, and really any other app. It's a great spot and even an hours worth of music was fun and worthwhile, but I do just wish prices were a bit more fair.

The steak was medium rare it was perfect. It was juicy. It was seasoned and charred just right paired with the chimichurri it was amazing. The Parmesan truffle fries were outstanding. You had the distinct taste of truffle with the Parmesan. Every bite was flavorful. While the food menu was mainly greasy bar food, they had a few items (grilled chicken, salads, soups, etc.) that I would have ordered if I had been hungry. Overall, the W's Village Grille seemed like a great place to catch a game or even for a family dinner in the back dining room, but it was not really the trendy girls' night spot for which we had originally planned.

If someone thought they were going to get slow, ceremonial pours and unlimited bar time on one of the busiest nights of the year, that's just unrealistic. As for getting cut off, bars don't do that for no reason, especially on a night when they want to keep serving. When a place is at capacity, the staff has to make judgment calls to keep things under control and stay within the law. Acting like bartenders should let people stay forever just because it's St. Patrick's Day sounds like someone who hasn't actually worked a high-volume bar in a long time, if ever. Calling the place overpriced with bad food doesn't make much sense either, considering it was packed all night and people were clearly enjoying themselves. It's easy to blame the bar when you don't get the experience you wanted, but from what I saw, the staff handled a crazy night the best they could, and the complaints here sound way more like user error than anything wrong with the place.

I asked her for tap water that never came...asked again and after 30 min I asked again and this time a bottle of water came that was not tap water. Fine. I didn't send it back because I was so thirsty. This water ran out and then i finally got the tap water bottle from the guy but I could def taste the difference. If I come back again I'll will get the bottled water because something tasted off with the tap water. I wanted to ask for lemon to make it palatable but felt like I was being annoying because they were busy and it was impossible to get another refill. But it was getting late and they started clanking the silverware and turning up the lights and I'm sure everyone wanted to go home so that's fair.
