Anchos Southwest Grill & Bar: Phenomenal fresh food,…read moreincredible service, and nostalgia! I have been coming to Anchos Southwest Grill & Bar since they first opened! Even though it has been several years since my last visit after moving out to Palm Desert, coming back reminded me why this place is so special. Dean, the owner, greeted me personally, and just as always, the service was top-notch from start to finish. You can't beat those fresh, warm tortillas right off the tortilla press--absolutely divine! Pair that with their incredible, fresh Southwest flavor and the absolute best salsa in all of the IE and OC. And of course, the margaritas are still just as good as I remembered! We came in to celebrate my big sister's birthday, as Riverside was the perfect halfway point for everyone. Even with a party of 10, the entire staff handled our group flawlessly and made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Anchos, for continuing to deliver amazing food and hospitality after all these years. We LOVE your food! Arthur Cervantes, Broker

I guess with the theme of "homemade tortillas" they use them for everything including chips. Tacos hard shell, taste more like "flautas". Drinks are way "overpriced" for the size. Both were on point. Chips fresh and just right, salsa had perfect amount of spice with the right amount of heat. Service is fast and attentive. And follow up service throughout the meal was great. I had the salmon taco plate. The portions were big, one piece of fish alone would have been enough for both tacos but they really build them right. So glad we stopped in, this is just the start to a long term relation ship. Forgot to mention they have a large attached events room and dance hall. When planning your next party family gathering, company luncheon or whatever, I'd check them out first.

Everything is made to order so there is a bit of a wait depending on the time you go. The jalapeno poppers are a must try item. We really enjoyed the chille rellano burrito and added carne asada to it too. Note: The service here is always positive and i can't wait to go back to try their carne asada fries.

The wings looked too good in the reviews so I had to try. Also had a breakfast sandwich with hot links. The sandwich was good, I really liked the hot links they used (I'm particular about my hot links). If you like your eggs a little on the runny side you'll 10/10, me 9.5. But now let's get into the wings. 100000/10. They are hard fried, and saucy! The buffalo sauce is the perfect blend of tangy with that little buffalo kick. Nothing crazy spicy. But so damn good, better than Wingstop. Yes I said it. Exactly what I want when I say buffalo wings (no slimy/soft skin). Great little spot! Okay Mo Val!

Could possibly be the fanciest restaurant in Corona, but the kicker is average plate is only around $25 including seafood plates. I had the fish tacos and they were splendid. So fresh and satisfying. I would make a reservation, but my party was over 30 people. I would not go on a hot day because the AC isn't the best during a heat wave. Free parking available outdoors but plentiful. Salsa- this was terrific. Fresh onion, cilantro, tomatoes. Good stuff. I put it on everything. 3. beans- excellent refris. My wife and I split a carne asada and garlic shrimp plate. It also came with a beef enchilada and rice/beans. The carne asada was flavorful, although a bit chewey for my liking. The garlic shrimp were very good. Four of them. The beef enchilada was the real deal. Plenty of beef stuffing and authentic sauce with good flavoring. Our friends split the beef and shrimp fajitas for two. They enjoyed it very much. The just okay: No full bar. Beer and wine (wine margaritas too) only. Beer is bottled, no tap. Kind of a bummer. The iffy: Prices are high. My wife and I, are meal was $33.99. You see the family working there, and there's something wonderfully comfortable and authentic about the whole place. They're attentive and friendly. After spending a couple of days in San Diego where, for one reason or another, we just could not seem to get a satisfying Mexican meal, we finally said, "We need Olivia's." We made our way back to Riverside for our chile verde, and it was exactly the reprieve we needed. Last night, we celebrated our coworker's birthday at Green Onion Mexican Restaurant in Moreno Valley, and this was our first time dining here. I'm happy to say it was a great choice! Our server Carlos deserves a special shoutout! He was super friendly, patient, and attentive, especially with our large group of 12 people. He helped us with our orders and recommended several dishes, and honestly, his suggestions did NOT disappoint! Everything was delicious, and the portions were nice and generous. They also have a bar, and the drinks were great--perfect for a little after-work celebration! We had such a fun evening celebrating, eating, laughing, and relaxing after a long shift. Great food + great service + great company = a winning combination! Thank you, Carlos, for taking such good care of our group! We'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Everyone who works there is super friendly. The place was clean and smelled like your typical Mexican restaurant. The rice and beans were my favorite part. I wasn't a fan of their enchiladas sauce. Our server was very slow and my hubby and son ran out of drinks fast. Chips and salsa was (as my kids would call it) mid. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other dishes (looking for recommendations). On a side note. My biggest pet peeve is when I look up a restaurant on yelp and the menus are old as heck. So I always try to remember to add pictures of the latest menu. Today's date is June 19, 2026.
