This review is a tough one. Chili's is a chain restaurant and you know what that's all about already. Satisfactory food. That in of itself doesn't tell you much. As noted, the food is fine. You pay for -- in this case -- cheap Tex-Mex food. The margaritas are adequate, the chips are good, the salsa is better than expected and the rest is Tex-Mex-iness. The space itself is, again, unremarkable. The restaurant itself is on the cleaner side, so I'll give it that. Chili's staff are friendly, nice and chatty. I'm torn, since three stars ("A-OK") seems low because, as a chain restaurant, I'm not holding this place to the same standard I would a unique establishment. I'm giving Chili's four stars not so much because I'm a fan but because it's a bit better than other bland, unremarkable, boring and blah chain restaurants. Thanks. read more

I have been eating at and ordering out from This Chilis since the old Roseville one closed down. Never had and problems but today I had an issue with my online order that I thought for sure was going to be a "nothing we can do about it" reaponse but I was wrong. The manager Matt was so helpful and took the extra time and steps to make sure It was resolved. I only leave reviews for above and beyond customer service or the wort service. I liked the food tried few samples and 3 for 10 menu works out great, online order and curbside pickup was seamless.

I am finally giving in and writing a review. The to-go orders are just never correct; and not small issues! Like missing 1/3 of the meal or an entire meal type issues. This is the third time we've ordered and the third time a major item has been not included even though it's on the receipt and initialed. The staff is nice, but we won't continue to order from here for delivery or to-go because they just don't seem to care to get it right. The cool thing is that now with the invention of Foursquare, when I checked in, I unlocked a special for free chips and salsa. Came in for a surprise lunch for my mom's birthday. So it was a large party, at first the server seemed like she had it handled and was pro.pt with drink and food orders. There were a lot of things ordered and many variations of the same thing. Food came out not too long after the order was placed, and the food was tasty and the temperature was ok. Once the food came the attention from the wait staff fell. Drinks were empty and empty plates littered the table. I've been to this place twice in the past couple of months. All I can say is they are nothing fantastic, kinda boring. With your choice of grilled chicken or grilled shrimp). The salad was fresh and I was quite surprised at the abundant quantity of Grilled Shrimp I got, but the Dried Cherries and Sesame Seeds were missing! My girlfriend and I hadn't seen each other for quite some time and were gabbing it up a lot, so I didn't find the opportunity to mention it to them. Perhaps the abundant Shrimp trumped my complaint...? On my second visit with my husband at around 8pm on a Saturday night we ordered the $20 Dinner for Two; we chose: Chips n Salsa, Fried Shrimp and the 1/2 Rack Baby Back Ribs. The Salsa is boring and tastes canned, the chips were fresh and warm, tho'. The Shrimp and Ribs were at the perfect temperature when they arrived; the Shrimp was but plump and juicy, but flavorless. The Ribs were tasty but were quite dry at the bone, so you end up pulling/flossing much of it out of your teeth because it's dry. Both came with fries, in addition the Shrimp came with Cole Slaw (does anyone really eat soggy cabbage?) and this weird "Tequila Lime Sauce" for dipping the Shrimp; we didn't like it. The fries had a lot of dried and overcooked pieces hidden under the fresher made pieces - slick move Chili's... Of particular note: They should offer a salad or veggies appetizer in this $20 Dinner for Two - wayyy too many carbs.... I won't be going back anytime soon - there are many other restaurants in the area to choose from that I know I won't be bored with... read more

We had a server that we only saw long enough to take our order (which didn't come back correct) and didn't see him again. Very inattentive. We were to an an excuse for him by another server but that's not our fault as a guest. Have always loved this place. Loved that they HAD expanded the menu to include burritos and various semi-Mex plates. Well, that didn't last long and now their menu is very limited. Loved the big prime beef burrito. All gone now. Bring the expanded menu back, please. Returned this date, 2-17-18 and what a nice eve. Rory is the best damn bartender and it sucks that he has to work ALL alone and really, really hustles. Great ribs but soggy nachos. Also missing the coleslaw. Even wrote on the ticket "86?" Nothing was said when the order was picked up but we were charged for the full meal. I did call the restaurant. He mentioned a refund for the slaw. I told him not worth it. He said how about for the whole meal and then he hung up. The person who thought it was funny turned out to be the one who hung up on me. Went there last night for dinner. Our waitress last night was on point!! Her name was Nikki. Drinks were never empty and our food came in a timely manner. Our food was good but not 5 star worth. So disappointed with service at this location. After 35 years in managing restaurants, it's so disappointing to see how bad service is. Bartenders expect tips, but don't realize they need to earn it. We have been coming to this location for over 10 years and had good and bad service. I don't like yelp, because I am in the business, but when you are ignored from a bartender, (Nicole) that had served us for many of those years, it's very disappointing. When you get no service, you get no tip. We came here at shift change , and Nicole never acknowledged us. We always tip well, when deserved, but this visit, '0'00. It will be a long time before we decide to come back. When the bar is not busy during happy hour football Sunday, it says a lot about management and the team you manage. Obviously, not a well run restaurant. Won't be back for long time, when everything changes. Too many other options out there. Also, when we paid on the tablet, we put 'poor service' to start and normal survey did not continue. We could not complain about anything. Usually it has numerous questions. I visit Chili's on a very regular basis. Usually my experience is pleasant, however, my recent to-go order wasn't so much. I ordered food to-go for my family on Saturday. Ordering online was a breeze. When I arrived at Chilis for the pick up, I was 10min early and I was greeted quickly. I was a little shocked that my food was ready and given to me immediately. Unfortunately, when I got home, I was really disappointed. My food was cold and very overcooked. I just worked a 12hr shift and wanted something easy and delicious but I ended up having to throw most of it away. I'm not sure I'll order from here again. read more

Excellent service!! I didn't catch his name but the bartender with the shaggy hair was just great! We have been coming here for months now on Fridays and normally the bar is very backed up. Tonight was different. Our waiter got our drinks out right away! As soon as my glass was empty he was right over to grab me another one. My husband and I recently went in on a Friday night for dinner and had a great experience! Our waiter, Brandon, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. We ordered the "2 for $25" special which came with an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert. We also ordered 2 of the $5 monthly margaritas which were absolutely delicious and they did not cheap out on the alcohol either. If it hadn't been so wonderfully strong, I would have ordered another it was so delicious. My one suggestion and why this review didn't quiet make 5 stars is because the grilled chicken salad I ordered was simply alright. It came with corn and black beans and probably had 5 corn kernels and 5 beans on it, a bit stingy for salad toppings. I also paid $1 more for avocado on my salad and received 4 thin slices for the extra charge. I would recommend the restaurant spruce up this salad in the future. All in all though, the appetizer, margarita, and dessert were beyond delicious and my husband and I will be back for sure in the future. read more

We just decided to pay the bill & leave..now more troubles..The smart kiosk they have on our table has the wrong bill since there was a mix up with our backtable who had our bill which was half of their actual bill (which we had) & apparently they paid that showed up on their kiosk and left. Waiter informed they are fixing it & disappeared for 20 mins. He then comes up with a paper bill & disappears again which was still wrong. He comes back to serve table next to us & then he took it back to got it fixed finally. Alright tasteless food, 25 mins wait to pay your bill, terrible service. Horrible service ! The waiter seemed to to get everything I was saying wrong. I should have realized it was going to be unpleasant when I had to repeat the order multiple times. Was charged for a drink I didn't order, and he never came back to get our desert order. We asked for boxes and he never brought them. The nachos were cooked in a way where each chip had a lot of cheese on top, but taste wise it was average. It was lacking more toppings. Then for main course I ordered the grilled chicken fajitas. It was a huge portion, came with 4 small tortillas and lot of chicken. I added my own little touch and put fries in it too, it was satisfying.
