I was in a Triple-Dipper-kinda mood last night and made the brilliant move of ordering Chili's for dinner. I ordered "the usual" combo - the Nashville hot mozz sticks, crispy chicken cripsers with a side of their DELIGHTFUL honey-chipotle sauce, and the big mouth bites) through the app on my phone, which was incredibly user friendly and a breeze! The order eta was right around 20 minutes and I received a text notification for each update; confirmation/receipt of my order, the status, and when it was ready for pick up. Communication was outta this world and supremely appreciated, especially since I was on-the-go. When I picked up my order, it was neatly packaged and the contents were delightfully hot. I do have to preface and say that I LOVE The Triple Dipper because it hits EVERY TIME and the portions are so generous, that it always ends up being 2-3 meals of worth. Tasty, consistent, and a bang for your buck! Once I got home a few minutes later, it was time to DIG IN and I went straight for the mozz sticks! Let me tell you about that first cheese pull; OUTRAGEOUS. Sensational. Ooey gooey cheesey goodness! Chili's has done it again! The chicken crispers were, indeed, crisp to perfection and insanely delicious with the honey chipotle sauce on the side. The sliders were also cooked to perfection and balanced beautifully with the cheese, grilled onions, and bacon bits. What an ELITE combo! A quick honorable mention goes to the side of chips and salsa. I am OBSESSED with how thin, crisp, and delicious the chips are every time I get them. They truly satisfy every time! You will DEFINITELY be seeing my at Chili's again, whether it be sitting down at the restaurant or taking out to enjoy at home. For anyone who's in a Chili's kinda mood, go for it! They send utensils. They said it was its just wings thats what's on doirdash and the food looks nothing like the photo on doordash. The manager in canden/elgin was cold and very sarcastic. He was non-caring and trying say Chillis used to be It's just wings, no it wasn't. When we paying our money, we want service, quality and best of service. I have dined at chilis multiple times and he has made his presence very evident in the worst way possible. Me and my family planned to go out to lunch and we ended up deciding on Chili's and I'm so glad we did. As soon as we got there, we were immediately seated at a booth and asked what we wanted to drink. When the server came back with the drinks, she asked what we wanted to eat, and once she took the orders, it came out in under 15 minutes. The chicken tenders were crispy and moist, the fried mozzarella was gooey and cheesy, the burger bites were charred to perfection. When we were done, I went to put my food in that to go box and I dropped a chicken tender on the floor. My server, Wendy, saw what had happened and immediately, went to the kitchen and grabbed me another chicken, tender free of charge! Thank you so much Wendy! Your awesome! read more

I decided to go with a combo platter since I thought I'm bound to like something off of it lol My bf got pretty much the same order except he ordered brisket. The ribs were, MEH. I wasn't expecting them to be the ribs I would get at an actual bbq place or like in the southern states. Was lacking flavor and was dry. The chicken fingers had more flavor. The only thing I really liked and would order again from here is the Roasted Street Corn. Was sweet, and juicy. The fries taste like cardboard sadly even with all that topping. I appreciate that everything was in the bag and packed nicely. With utensils and all. Everything was hot and ready for pick up. I'm not sure if I'd come back to try anything else. Waited nearly 10 minutes after the pickup window time (store not busy whatsoever, Wednesday night no other cars waiting). Had to call them to bring it out. Missing utensils and was given regular corn on the cob instead of the street corn I ordered. Black beans were very watery, like soup. Ordered half dry rub/half regular sauce, they gave me both dry rub with sauce on one making it too salty and gross. They obviously were trying to recycle old product as they were scrawny and dry. First time coming here and started off with a warm, watered down, weird, artificial tasting lemonade. Loaded bacon potato soup was okay but the bacon bits tasted rubbish. Salad was good despite the small portion size and little amount of croutons. Burger was plain n gross it had no flavor at all, even tried adding salt n pepper and still nothing, only flavored I got was mustard and it was a gross amount of taste. Sandi and I stopped in at Chili's after a visit to Sam's club. Sandi had a coupon for salsa and chips. I had a gift card for Chili's. So we stopped in for lunch on our way home. As we entered, the bar tender found us a seat. The waitress was the best part of the meal. She took care of us and helped us with our meal. She was very pleasant and quick. She delivered our food quickly. The food was somewhat bland. The menu offered us a number of choices, so we tried the 3 for $10 menu. Chili's is not at the top of my list but not at the bottom. If you are looking for something quick and satisfactorily eatable, give them a try. read more

We stopped by last Saturday: four adults, three kids (10, 9, 9). The place was maybe a quarter full. Some people were at the bar. A few tables in the dining area had patrons. The hostess told us that we would have a 30-minute wait. Then she walked off. When she came back to, I don't know, organize her dais, we asked if we heard her correctly. She said, "Well, the wait may be less, but, yeah, thirty minutes." We left and ordered Dominos, which arrived around the time we'd be sitting down at Chili's. I understand that finding help is difficult these days so this is all on you, Chili's. PAY PEOPLE A LIVING WAGE. My recommendation is to have a sign on the front door that says something along the lines of "Due to our unwillingness to pay workers an adequate wage for the work they do, no one wants to work here so be ready to wait a long time." read more

I feel awful that restaurants are struggling so getting employees. I came to this Chili's because the one in St Charles closed. Just had a glass of wine at the bar and ordered chips and salsa to go. So I can't comment on the food, but a shout out to the hostess, Dawn who not only greeted each and every person who came In with a smile and great attitude, but when no one was at the door she helped the servers carry food orders, made sure tables were clean and straightened the restaurant up. The pandemic has had a devastating effect on all restaurants, especially chains. Took my son there for a quick bite and it was dead at noon on Sunday with the Bears playing. The waiter was great, and everything came out quickly. Sadly, Chili's itself has gone downhill. The food used to be a really great option to fast food, but now I feel like it is not much above fast food quality. Soup was very good, but burger was like a salt lick. Beyond pissed! My time was insanely wasted by visiting this location for lunch with my daughter. We arrived at noon and the hostess attempted to seat us in the corner with no view. At the time of our arrival, the restaurant was empty which meant there were plenty of "prime" seating available. I politely asked if we could be seated in another section and they were okay with the adjustment. The wait for a server to approach was slightly longer but I didn't care. We placed our drink orders and off he went. He shortly returned and was ready to take our order. We ordered our food around 12:15pm. Time seemed to stand still. I happened to glance at my watch and noticed the time was now 12:40. Our server approaced and asked if everything was going okay. I said "no, where's are food?" He politely explained their was a mixup due to him being new and didn't have a server number. All orders were put in as training. They solved the problem and reinput out the orders and so we wait. I don't think if I would've asked we would've know. My daughter and I sat there starving. We waited another five minutes and decided to leave. I feel sad for leaving this comment because we have been coming to this Chili's location for nearly 20 years. We have had great and not so great food and service. Tonight was one of the not so great times! We were seated immediately by a bouncy hostess! She had a welcoming attitude and disposition! We were seated in the bar area and waited a few minutes for our server to come to the table. We gave her our drink and food order requesting some alterations to both the burger toppings and the fajitas. Both came out incorrectly, and the comment from Audrey our server was this burger comes with cheese, pickles and mustard. It was ordered with grilled onion and tomato only. Her response was we hadn't ordered it correctly. My fajitas were just OK, the shrimp were way overcooked and rubbery. I asked only for cheese and sour cream which was how they were served. The vegetable were mostly raw and I had asked for well done! Believe me her attitude was just looking for a fight! Halfway thought the meal we were out of soda. Someone cleared the table and we paid the check. The bartender comes to the table and asked if we needed anything else. I indicated that 15 minutes ago we needed drink refills but we were leaving now. Again Audrey was snarky and loaded for bear! She said I am the bartender and very busy (Lie - she was talking to another worker), and I asked you if you needed anything before. I don't care who you are or if you think you are busy, you should be taking care of your customers. She stood at the table waiting for a comment, but we walked away! You have some great food, and a new chef, I heard. For heaven sake these workers should have basic people skills which were clearly lacking in this bartender. As a professional CSM, I would have walked her to the door! So if you get Audrey as a server, change tables! The joke of this entire story, is that we had Audrey as a server about a month ago in this Chili's and she was one of the best servers we had ever had there. I work close by and I go mostly out of convenience and go in several times a week but I had no real complaints until last Saturday. I went in to grab a lemonade on my lunch break and my card wouldn't go through. I checked my account and it had money. I didn't panic. Their system glitches quite a lot. The woman working came with her supervisor and we ran my card again. She LOUDLY declared that it was declined. Her supervisor added a very condescending "uh oh!" ... I explained I had money on the card and they made me feel so embarrassed. Turns out my bank shut it down after someone tried to use my card information. So on top of dealing with that. These ladies decided to humiliate me. I don't care how close it is to work. I WILL NOT be returning. I don't want anything from them. I'm done. read more

This is one of the most disappointing locations of this chain I have ever been to. The food is the same as every other location. The problem is the cleanliness standards are much worse than most locations. Each of the last three times I went there the tabletop was sticky, and there were food remnants on the seats. I've been to this location many times and never had a bad experience, other than feeling rushed by the servers a few times. This past week I visited this location with a couple of friends. The service was so slow- from getting drinks to the table to getting our food to the table. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad but with grilled chicken instead of crispy. The salad came out with no buffalo sauce and I had to ask/explain to the guy who brought out the food why I needed buffalo sauce for my buffalo chicken salad. One friend ordered nachos. I wish I had taken a picture of them because they were not nachos. It looked like a burnt cheese crisp with a dollop of pico and shredded lettuce in the middle. Definitely not how the nachos are described on the menu. My other friend ordered the bacon ranch chicken quesadillas which I have ordered many times and it also didn't look right. I have tried 3 times to give this location a chance and every single time I've gone it's been a bad experience. And this is my first time actually typing a review. Two of the times I've gone and had to wait over 25 minutes for a table with toddlers while the restaurant was empty but only had 1 waitress so they couldn't even seat us. Today, we were sat immediately which was a great sign. But the rest of the experience was terrible. The waitress, whom I didn't even get her name, was extremely rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, and not approachable. Our food was ordered, and took extremely long to come out. My friend ordered a coke which was flat. The fries that came out were cold, and we made a comment asking for a new batch. You could tell when the fries came back out they were over crisped as if they were just put in an oven and given back to us. The waitress not once came to check on our table, until we were waiting not eating and she finally came to ask if we needed any boxes. We ordered desert, cheesecake - which had a drizzle of strawberry purée. The strawberry purée reeked smelled almost like beer or alcohol and tasted disgusting so we couldn't eat the cheesecake at all. The purée was definitely old. She not once came back to ask if we were paying with cash or card and assumed we needed to handle our check with the table monitor. Luckily one of us had a card after both of our little ones were very anxious and ready to leave as no one was helping with the cash option so we checked out. As we left, the waitress and hostess both saw us leaving and not once said thank you or have a good day/night. This location has a lot of unwelcoming and unhelpful staff. My review on Chili's is going to be a bit unusual- I go to Chili's only in large groups of people and I love the service they provide. We are talking a big group who meets up, all requests different checks, and they take care of us everytime. I understand things are hard now because of lack of staff . But some one in our party got their order brought to them wrong 3 times . First time , the person who brought out food out was not our waitress was extremely rude about it . Food tasted good that's why I rated at least 2 stars .every ones good was brought out at different times . I got my plate first and was done by the time the last person got their plate . Was offered free desert to compensate for these errors but declined because none of us wanted to wait any longer . Nothing else was done. My experience at chili's was quite a disaster. My party of 8 went to chili's today and it was completely empty aside from a family of four sitting in the biggest table. We asked to be seated and they said that they could only offer a table of six. We agreed to wait for the family of four to be done. When that family left they still refused to sit us at that table and made us split up. We sat down and talked about it but as we were talking a family of five entered and that sat them down in the table they did not allow jbut the hostess spoke to our waitress and we did not get attended for another 20 min. We haven't been to Chilis in a while. We like Chilis, we just haven't been. So,we decided to check out the unlimited enchiladas. We went to the closest Chiles in South Elgin. So we ordered the enchiladas, one order of chicken, and one order of beef. They served promptly and were saved piping hot. They were surprisingly good! I am not sure why I was surprised, as I have never really had a bad meal at Chilis. Anyway, the beef was served with a red sauce and it was Delish! The chicken was served its a green sauce and it was good too. We both really liked the relish of sorts they were topped with. We did place a reorder for a couple more (they really were that good) and they were served very fast. The service was never better and we had a great waiter. Hard to use curbside to order- must be done online. However you can't make customizations such as no meat. Took three phone calls to try and sort it out. Not sure why they can't take a payment at pick up or over the phone, seems more difficult than other restaurants for curbside. read more

Tried this place again and we had pretty much the same experience. The staff was standing around in a corner as I watched one waiter handle all of the tables except ours. The service was subpar. We were not able to pay through the tablet and the waitress didn't know why. We were not explained to that we could pay separately through the tablet, and when she explained it we still were not able to pay. Then, our cards were switched and we all paid for each other's meal. She had to cancel our payment and do it all over again. She also did not know how to put our rewards in. We asked another waitress for help and she said she would be with us shortly and never came. It did not seem like any of the employees really cared to help us. Also, we were told the manager would come and she never came. We finally sorted out all of the payment, but it probably took 20-25 minutes to get the payment taken care of.
