Came here on a weeknight and they were about to close. Apparently this town closes up very early evenings, even on weekends. The bartender was funny and friendly and suggested items to try, even though she reminded me that they were closing. So I got a meal and a drink (or maybe three) and some great conversation. My wife and I love to do the 2 for $35 deal included an appetizer, 2 entrees, dessert, and 2 margaritas. I seriously think that's one of the best deals in town. The only downside at this place is definitely parking... it's shared with Black Angus customers so on a Friday or Saturday night, you might be circling for 10 minutes before you find a spot. Haven't been to this Chili's in years. It used to ALWAYS be good so we headed back. It was barely a two star experience. 1 star for our server Frankie who was super nice and running around like crazy but clearly short staffed.1 star because the 2 managers that stopped by agreed to Comp our meals. The food was not good. The issue is clearly in the kitchen. Our appetizer came out cold. One boneless wing had a reddish pink thing in the center. Showed the waiter Who took it to the kitchen came back and told us the chef said that's just gristle!? Gross.. Worst chilis I've ever had. I ordered the chicken crispers tonight and they were tough as a well done steak. I couldn't even eat a single bite. The entire meal was mediocre at best. We also got fajitas, cookie desert, Texas fries and kids pizza. This was a total waste of time and money. Chili's in Murrieta, CA has always been good with great service. Today I was very disappointed to learn they have replaced the romaine lettuce in Caesar salad with spring mix which includes those limp, bitter, awful purple weeds (as I call them). They must have new management because the last few times we've come, all the girls have been so exceptional. From the friendly hostess, who takes the time to thank you for dining with them, to the servers, (and especially the girls who run their butts off and never seem to rest!) they have some of the most friendly, active staff we've ever seen. No chatting with each other or screwing around on cellphones here! ...And then you've got the really weird guy with the bushy beard. I'm sitting there talking to my mom and saying to her, "How do these girls stay so skinny working here?" I'd gain so much weight if I worked here and could eat this stuff everyday! She replied that they were so busy running orders around, that they probably burned off all the calories. I agreed with her that these were the hardest working staff I've ever seen. Bushy Beard must have only heard the 'skinny' part and assumed that, because I'm overweight, I was being catty calling them 'skinny'. He looks our way and LOUDLY makes a yowling cat sound from across the booths on the other side, (making two other tables besides ours jump and look his way) like he was passive aggressively trying to shame me. He then ran off to the kitchen before anything could be said. How remarkably unprofessional, rude and frankly cowardly. If he thought we were saying something off-color, he could have had the professionalism to come over and ask if there was a problem, instead of drawing attention to himself in such a bizarre and attention-seeking way. It seems hard to believe he could have thought there was a problem since we were all smiles and laughing and joking with the girls that brought us things though. He was an incredibly strange downer for what was otherwise another perfect experience at Chili's. The review would have been 5 stars, with thanks to the management otherwise. read more

Visited the Chilis in Temecula two nights ago and sat in the bar. Bartender was good but night manager Gabe was very rude. We questioned a charge and he seemed annoyed and argumentative. Didn't want to take the time to explain. We usually go to the Murrietta Chilis which is a way better experience. Only reason we went to the Temecula Chilis is we had been to a seminar at the library and this Chilis was on our way home. Won't be going back to that Chilis again. I recommend the Chilis in Murrietta hands down because the staff is way better. read more

Avocado bacon chicken sandwich came out without bacon or avocado so they brought it out on a side plate after I had picked it apart looking for the food that was suppose to be on it. My husband and I each ordered quesadillas and they were both tough and stale tasting, as well as greasy and bland. Mine had to be sent back because I'm allergic to tomatoes and it had tomatoes on there (yes they were told) and it was supposed to have something else on there and didn't have that. Took forever to get the corrected one. The server was super friendly and tried her best but drinks weren't kept filled because they had her serving tables all over the restaurant. Ok this was a quick meal and glass of vino during Happy Hour which is all day on Sundays... very cool. So this particular restaurant is in Southern California though it has the same happy hours spirits and food menu at most locations I have visited. I ordered the the fiesta wraps with a bit spicy dipping sauce and a premier Margarita always along with a glass of Vino. The wraps were as delicious and the spicy sauce just right as their other restaurant locations serve. The premier margarita was weak though tasted good. The wine was good but forgot to ask what their bar wine vendor is. The establishment was clean and the service staff was efficient. The noise level was loud as it was packed with folks. Not sure if there was music in the back ground as I said it was packed and loud. I always enjoy checking out Chili's as it is my go to place when I'm by myself as I always feel safe and staff like I said d is efficient almost to a fault. Good choice of American food (aka burgers, fried stuff and the occasional healthy dish,) flawless presentation and appetizing prices makes my first visit to chili's (yes, it's true and I'm proud of the fact!) a good one. I ordered the combo for $10 - I chose the Southwestern Eggrolls with a creamy dipping sauce and Half Rack of Ribs (Memphis Dry Rub) which was a bit dry. The entree came with a choice of side dish - I got the mashed potato. Samantha ordered the Buffalo Chicken Fajitas which is crispy chicken, spicy wing sauce and bleu cheese crumbles served with a plate of beans, crispy lettuce and torillas. That was a lot of food for not a lot of money. I'd come to a Chili's again when I want some reliable comfort food if I'm not worried about my calories. If you're this close to Old Town Temecula why not go there? Well, there aren't many Asians in that picturesque part of town and overhearing a rowdy table of hicks mimicking the Asian catch phrase "one dollaaar, one dollaaar" persuaded us leave that joint and we bumped into Chili's. read more

Everything seems to taste the same and the stuff that used to be good is not not so good. My husband and I went here on a whim and the service was terrible. The cup of water I was given had particle of white flakes floating inside of it. When the server finally came around and I asked for a new cup she went got a new one came back and the water still had flakes inside of it. Long story short the manager came over "washed the cup herself" and the cup and water still had stuff in it. I went to my car to get my own water bottle instead of drinking their water. I think Chili's is one of the under rated family places around and people think you need to eat whole meals there to enjoy, but in fact this is not the case at all. its great for quick lunches or just a no cook at home dinner night, but you dont want to order in.. Mini-me and I really enjoy Chili's and for under 30.00 for a dinner or 20.00 for lunch/we have plenty to nosh on and believe me it is filling. And I don't mean under $30. For 2- although it easily is, I mean under $30.00 for 3 or 4 people- here is how I do it.....and my discclaimer is that these are some of the option we have worked out for us, so depending on how you order the price will be more or less. What seome people dont see is the fine print- if your orer the chili -queso- YOU Get the chips and sals with it, so you dont need to order it seperate. But sometimes we dont want the queso.. For 2 -3 People We do the 2 for $20. we love the chips and salsa and the fries since both are part of the appetizer combo I order the fries with the deal and chips/salsa on the side. The 2 for $20. portions are perfect size so you are really not over eating, actually we wind up filling up on the chips and salsa so the dinner pretty much goes home for lunch the next day- Might I add, the steamed broccoli at Chili's is probably the best tasting aside from Outback's we have ever had. For lunch we split the buffalo chicken salad, order the chips and salsa and fries. The salad split and is still a hearty portion and they don't skimp on the chicken just because you are splitting it. For 3 people we sometimes just do appetizers I mean order according to your taste and hunger chart 1-10- 10 being starving. I think that for your money you get really great options on the 2 for $20.00 menu. For 3-4 People If you're like us sometimes you just don't want to cook, but you are not super hungry either and just want to maybe nibble or split stuff which sounds good- go to Chili's order 3-4 appetizers that's perfect. Chips /salsa, Fries, Cheese Queso--YUMMMM! Sure it's not your 7 pyramid food group or anything but add a salad with no dressing and everything on the side, LOL. Once again - pick and choose the variations are pretty good. Right now, my Chili's is being re-modeled and it has not posed any issue with service or eating there- in fact most of you know my issue with screaming kids at restaurants, when I walk in my super- sonic hearing picks up the sounds of overly tired wee-ones, so when we are being seated it has never ever been a problem to ask to sit away from the exhausted parents in that area, sometimes they need to just get out and enjoy family time, so Chili's in that respect is super kid friendly and I appreciate that. I give 4-Stars only because the parking lot is a bit dangerous and needs to be smoothed out and less speedway friendly. For some reason people drive like maniacs in this particular parking lot and I have not been able to figure out why. read more

So I give this place a one star! Cause my experience here was the worst ever. I am single mom with 2 kids my son 1 and daughter 10. We went and sign up for a table gave our name and everything it was windy outside and due to covid we were going to sit outside in the tent which we knew it and we were okay with but another group of 3 people came after us the server said I am sweat under up table cause it's dirty and I said okay. The other people came to the table and sat on it the server didn't say anything and it made me mad cause I understand a mistake but they didn't apologize or nothing. It was like I didn't matter to them not my business. I asked to speak to a manager a manager didn't care either so I just left and it was the worst experience ever. Hopefully the management will read this and address the filth, the place needs some serious attention in the cleaning department. It was really dirty, the front doors & windows had greasy hand prints all over them, the floor was filthy and the menues were pretty disgusting & sticky. Definately will not be going there again, if this was the condition of the dining area what is going on in the kitchen??? That said the food was ok and the service was below sub par, typical of Chili's. Wasn't busy at 3:00pm and yet the waitress could not be bothered while they laughed and giggled behind the bar, good thing they have auto check out, we woud not have wanted to disturb the fun and games the employees were having. Yay!! Chili's finally impressed! I'm so glad to be upgrading my review from one to four stars!! I thought I had sworn off Chili's after a few horrible experiences, but we had a gift card and a long day, so it was a convenient option. The hubs and I started off with a Cuervo Blue Margarita and it really hit the spot. So refreshing! We both also decided to stick with the lite menu. I'm really impressed when somebody makes a lite choice flavorful. It's not that difficult but far too often, lite is interpreted as no flavor. Chili's hit it out of the park with this. I ordered the ancho salmon. It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly...not overcooked and dry like I often end up receiving. The veggies were also cooked to perfection, not too hard and not too mushy. The hubs ordered the margarita chicken. I tried it and it was equally delicious. He enjoyed it so much that he wants to recreate the dish at home. My son always orders the burger with the egg if it's on the menu. So, he went with the grassfed sunrise burger. He loved it! Our service was also exceptional. Everything about this visit was great. Had this been my first visit I probably would've given five stars but it's really hard to forget my last experience. However, Chili's definitely gained back my business and maybe that five star review is in the future. Nice job! read more
