UNPROFESSIONAL. Lost my business forever. My gf ordered a small beer and I ordered a large beer. The bartender gave us our beers but maybe lost his train of thought and poured another small and large beer. He noticed we already had beers so he left them on the fridge. After about 10 minutes we asked for a second round but we both wanted a small size of beer this time. I couldn't believe it!! Instead of pouring fresh new beers. He grabbed both beers he left in the fridge and he poured the large beer into a small glass. ITS NOT OUR FAULT YOU MEESED UP. YOU SHOULD OF POURED FRESH BEER INSTEAD OF BEER THAT WAS LEFT STANDING AND FLAT. I would avoid this place with crooked and dishonorable tactics like that!! I never felt so low and discriminate with our experience last night Oct. 21 2023 with white privileged. We walked in with a party of 9 and check in with Host Tanner. Our wait time is 30mins which understandable due of a busy Saturday night. A Party of 10 white party check in and was seated within 5mins, seems like Tanner is Friends with the group. I asked why they got to be seated before us, and tanner said they had called in since 11am on that day for reservations which they don't do reservations, it's first come first serve. Another party of 12 white group check in. We where about 20mins waiting, sure enough the group of 12 where seated before us again. We asked Tanner the host again, why they're seated before us again. Tanner said, they have called and check in before our party, and told us that we were only waiting 20mins out of the 30mins he told us. At this point, I walked out and called the Visalia and this restaurant(Tulare). If I can make a reservation, sure enough both locations don't do any reservations, it's first come first serve. We talked to a manager, she was apologetic and understanding the situation that shouldn't haven't happened, and they don't do a reservations. To top it off when we where talking to The Manager, Tanner was laughing and smiling about situation. Very disrespectful. Service here is always hit or miss. Today (1-11-20) during lunch was a miss. Didnt catch her name but she had our table and the bar. Ordered out food and everything was good. My daughter ordered a rootbeer to drink which comes in a bottle. I dont let her drink from it so we asked for a cup with ice and she also knows she only gets one soda and the rootbeer doesnt have free refills anyways. I didnt see the server take away all the glasses to refill them but she did and brought them back to the table and started to refill my daughter rootbeer while I had a mouth full. I raised my hand up and was able to say I didnt want a refill one that and that I wasnt paying for another one. The server got a nasty attitude and says I wasnt going to charge you for it, but then stops filling it and walks away with the bottle.... 1. How the hell was i suppose to know as there are no free refills on the rootbeer. 2. You didnt even ask if she wanted a refill ( it was still half full) After that, the server never came back to our table. I had a water which needed refilled, and she walked past us with the water pitcher filled the two tables behind us with water then walks around the other side of the bar; as to avoid us. So let's start off with the smokehouse plate that I ordered. The plate came out and the corn was over cooked and greasy but the jalapeño sausage was the savior of the dish. The brisket on the other hand was disgusting. It was cold, hard, mostly fat, and sliced thin with the grain. This gave the meat the texture of beef jerky and it was reminiscent of chipped beef on toast, sh** on a shingle. In fact I would have preferred chipped beef because at least the sauce would have given it some flavor. The atmosphere was good and the waiter was outstanding. Be careful of this Chili's. On Memorial Day, ordered take-out. When arrived to pick up and pay, noticed was charged for wrong order. When informed cashier, she called for manager and he, I thought gave me credit for incorrect amount. He told me it should so up on credit card in two or three days. It never showed. Had to file dispute with credit card account. Chili's to this day has never responded to credit card company. Fortunately, by using credit card, I received the credit. I frequent Chilis twice a week. I went in for lunch on 12/31/2021. The waitress/bartender was so rude. She interrupted a conversation I was having with my friend. It has been 20 mins and she still has not helped us with an order of any kind. When I asked to speak to a manager she laughed at me. She insulted me. I was finally able to speak to a manager who then suggested I sit somewhere else and that she would comp my meal. I told her I didn't come here for a free meal. The only reason at all this is getting four stars and not five is because of the parking. I had a to go order today and could not find any parking in the to go spots. I looked in the cars and they were not occupied. So I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe everyone is just inside grabbing their food. When I got in nobody is in the lobby picking up there food. I'm the only person. So I ask the owner or manager to please watch the parking. You have signs posted giving everyone the opportunity not to park there and their car will be towed parking there when not utilizing it correctly. Have their cars towed and I honestly believe if you do that a few times people will only utilize these parking spots for they're intended purpose. Other than that rant, I have nothing negative to say. I've eaten in and eaten to go and every time is very pleasant going in there. You have the best employees. They are very kind and attentive. My Husband and I were driving from Palm Springs to a destination outside of Sacramento (small town of Woodland) and had been on the road since about 8:00 AM. She is a great waitress and also a good representative for your company. Her smile and friendly tone of voice helped us to start unwinding. My Chicken enchilada soup was great and I did ask for seconds. My husband had chili, a little greasy he said, but he also had seconds. When Tom expressed his concern about the grease in the Chili, Brittany apologized and said she would dip the next bowl herself. She really went out of her way. I should point out that my husband has participated in chili making contests, so he is very fussy about his chili. When we were ready to leave, Brittany thanked us for coming in and we thanked her for helping us to relax. Came in for a steak with my wife. Made a 52 dollar mistake and it was terrible. I ordered two Ribeyes with loaded mash potatoes and broccoli. One was a ribeye and one was a strip steak, both were tasteless and tougher than dried out leather. Mashed potatoes were cool not hot. I put butter on the steamed broccoli and it did not melt. So disappointed in the quality, I would be ashamed if I served food that tasteless and poor quality to people I would rethink hiring actual cooks.
