I just got wonderful service and great food from this Chili's. I haven't eaten at Chili's in over 3 years due to other ones being bad. This was a great experience from start to finish. I had to call and ask some questions and they were so friendly and helpful. It was so easy to order curbside service and all I had to do was text I was there. I haven't been to chili's in awhile, but they really out did themselves! I haven't been to this location for a about a year and things changed for the better! The menu looks better, the food looks amazing, and they have this new electronic thing for ordering. It's called a ziosk, it's basically an iPad that allows you to order drinks, appetizers, desserts, and even pay the bill. You still have the waiter there, but in the case they aren't around and you wanna order something you can and they will bring it. The service was great, better then before. The family went out for dinner on August 24, having heard about the 3 for $10 deal. It was an incredible experience, with a personable and competent waitress. As we were wrapping up our order, the beverages were already coming out, followed shortly by the appetizer--incredible speed! The food was heavenly. It was such a great experience that we returned the following week, August 31, for dinner again. We had another great waiter--also very competent--and were quickly served another fantastic meal. Delicious! Having a day off, we returned a third time in just a week and a half, going for the wonderful 3 for $10 deal yet again. Incredibly, we once again had a different, competent and personable waitress. Once again the food was divine and I'm eager to return again. We think the 3 for $10 is a great deal, and Chili's has certainly done something right when it comes to training/preparing the staff, as well as getting delicious food out to tables in a very reasonable amount of time. What a way to ruin our night. After a long day of work we decide to dine here. So we walk in, the host greets us but never asks for our name therefore never signs us in. Since she greeted us, i figured she had acknowledged us and so she would sit us next. So, she goes and sits the family waiting ahead of us. Then she comes back and sits the family that got there after us (10 mins after us). I go up to one of the hosts and tell her what was going on and she says that we were never signed in. I felt like we were invisible to them. We were literally standing up in front of them (it's hard not to see a party of 4) and we were Completely ignored. Completely skipped. I am so disappointed with my order this evening. I ordered the Rib-Eye steak (Medium Rare); it arrived well done. This mean it was dry and chewy. My broccoli was over cooked and mushy. There is a chili choice of cup or bowl; I order a bowl of chili. I did not get a bowl of chili; I received a cup of chili. How do I know I received a cup? I poured the chili into my measuring cup and it turned out to be a cup of chili. I am so angry because it is late and I was looking forward to a wonderful steak dinner. Instead, I feel like I was ripped off. Due to COVID-19 this was a home delivery; I could not have my dinner returned and prepared correctly. My advice; go eat somewhere else. read more

My second visit to Chili's for lunch was much like the first. We were quickly seated upon entry. Drink orders were taken, drinks arrived, and then orders were taken. I had the lunch fajitas with enchilada soup and the extra side of rice and beans. The soup was pretty good. Lots of stringy cheese was in there, along with generous hunks of chicken. The tortilla strips also added a nice bit of crunch to it. My friends received their salads at the same time. Then we waited. And waited. I only saw people seated at about 3 other tables. Maybe there was only one cook in the back? I couldn't tell. My fajitas finally arrived. The three condiment cups containing salsa, sour cream, and cheese were cute but too small. The contents of each were not enough for all three tortillas I received. I needed 2 or 3 times as much cheese and salsa. The chicken was cooked well, but I like my onions a little burnt. I just finished lunch at Chilis in Turlock - we are on our way to Lake Tahoe. I ordered the quesadilla salad- sounded good. When it arrived I have to say I was disgusted. I picked through it looking for something fresh in it- there were some dark green small type of lettuce on the bottom of the salad bowl lining the bottom- the rest looked like the end of 4 day old iceberg lettuce pieces that were leftover from something else that were chopped up into small bite size pieces- you know , that lettuce that is near the bottom of the lettuce leaf that is thick and hard with brown red color on the edges-that's what they served to me- I couldn't even take a bite. I told the waitress I couldn't eat that because the lettuce looked old. She repeated what I said back to me in a question. 2 stars because she was s competent waitress and my husband liked the burger fine. P.S. I will not be returning at all. My husband and I have gone twice figuring the first time was perhaps an off night. The second time was worse than the first. We had to repeatedly ask for things not just from our waitress but from another passing by since the sauce I asked for still hadn't come 20 mins later, even though I asked the waitress for it when I first ordered. Then it came time for us to feast and what you know, steak was raw. I asked them to cook the steak to medium rare, since I didn't ask for raw steak. Been to this chilis location twice in the last few months and both times have been absolutely not a pleasure. First time, service was lacking somewhat and we waited about fifteen minutes just to cash out which is ridiculous. Also, the food was not good by any standard. Mine tasted like it had sat and sat under a heat lamp, not exactly a good thing for fried food. However, appetizers always seem to be edible and mostly ok. Our most recent visit was so disappointing! Our server basically asked us "what do want to drink?", "what do you want to eat?", and "do you want dessert?". We were checked on once during more than half way through our meals. We needed refills and had to address the issue of some missing food. This should have been done shortly after the food was delivered not when we were almost finished. The restaurant wasn't busy and more importantly our server wasn't busy. I noticed most of her tables had empty drinks and were looking for her just like we were! This visit was the last straw for us. She even had the audacity to drop our checks off before we were finished and slap on gratuity. No service charge was needed since there was none. Please just stay away from this place! read more

I sat at the bar and despite a fairly slow night had to wait several minutes before being acknowledged and received Mc Donald's like service, no smile, no how are you, pretty much bare minimal service. The bartender consistently under poured on the beers leaving two full inches of foam, not just on my beer but on all 15+ beers she poured while I was there. As I was getting ready to leave the bartender put out displays advertising happy hour specials from 3-7pm. Came here last Sunday to meet up with one of my high school friends I hadn't seen in years! So needless to say we were there for a while! Both the hostess and the waitress we encountered were so friendly and sweet wish I could remember their names because they certainly deserve the praise for a good job. Food was delicious. I had the margarita chicken bowl and it was so good I was kind of sad when I realized I finished it.
