This was an amazing experience! Came here on my night off with my best friend, a fellow server. We had an amazing time and enjoyed both the food and the service. Cynthia took care of us was always making sure that we had what we needed and delivered our drinks in a timely manner as soon as they were ready at the bar. Well I was leaving the target parking lot n was discussing where to eat. Me and my family were really hungry n seen a chili's on the right side so we decided to give it a try. I didn't even know there was a chili's there n town. I'm very disappointed to have to say that the service was poor along with the flavors of the food. The flavors were of microwave shrimp it was squishy n not cooked well enough. The flavors did not go. My niece's toast was burnt. I think we could of chipped a tooth n yes I'm over exaggerating a lil but the good was that bad.I love steak n have visited chili's n tulare location. There food was delicious n full of flavors. I will return to that location but not the visalia one.N when the manager said that that's how they cook the food I was just fed up n WANTED to go home n eat my own food. Where do I begin? We waited for one hour and 20 minutes to be seated. Somewhat expectable for a Saturday with 6 people. The waiter was pretty good. Quick and professional. However when he brought the iron skillet he set it by the 2 year old at our table and when her Mom moved it to protect the child she burnt her hand. The only consolation from the waiter was "yeah, it's hot". Then the "medium well" steak we ordered was "well". We returned it and got a second. It was rare. Seriously red rare. Lunch with daughter. Place was not packed. My food order was all wrong, but it was quickly remedied. Food was good once I got my order corrected-I am a picky eater. Anyway, my beef comes with paying for the meal. Kept waiting for the bill. The auto-pay thingie on our table was dead. I set it on the edge so the waitress could see. She never noticed. After watching folks come in , eat and leave for awhile she had a doctors appointment, so we walked up front to pay. Then the waitress noticed us, and asked us for a credit card. Still no bill. Just took the credit card and went back somewhere to pay the bill. Heck, since it was my daughters turn to pay for lunch...for all that I know she bought the entire restaurant a round of drinks! For a chain restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious are their meals! Their baby-back ribs are succulent & their various fish dinners are wonderfully tasty! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, PLEASE FIX THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!! Here's a little background to my experience today. We had a party of 11 and we were celebrating my brother's 25th birthday. Our waiter was fabulous (his name was Jacob), but it was the manager who completely ruined it for us. We all ordered our food and after about an hour of waiting, the food came out and we were all anxious to eat. Only problem was, there was 2 meals missing. We were then told that our 2 meals "disappeared" from the order and that they were never even prepared. Aggravated, but still holding it together, we said it was okay and that we would wait for the meals. After about 30 minutes, our meals STILL weren't finished. Finally, after exactly 55 minutes, our plates came to our table. They were both wrong. At this point, we ask to speak to a manager. This manager never once asked us about how our experience was going, but asked both tables around us. As soon as he comes over, we explain to him that it's been over 2 hours and we barely received our meals, and they weren't even correct. Our whole table was already finished eating by this time. The manager tells us the same story, that our orders "disappeared" and that it was due to bad WiFi internet connection. He didn't even offer to give us any sort of gratitude for the horrible service. We then demand that something be done. The manager finally realizes that all we wanted to do was have an enjoyable dining experience; which we weren't even close to receiving. The manager, with an angry tone, says that both the last 2 meals would be removed from the ticket. This was a sigh of relief, but not the end. It took almost another HOUR for them to sort our tickets correctly. The manager, who coincidentally stayed on the other side of the restaurant after our verbal altercation, was seen watching his waiters try to figure out our incorrect tickets. The manager didn't offer any sort of help to his poor waiters, and in the end, made the task that much more difficult. All he had to do was what any ethical manager would do, handle the situation. Instead, he never once came back to us asking if the problem had been corrected. Finally, the tickets were properly split up and we paid them all. Again, I want to let all of you know that our waiter was AMAZING, and he did everything that he could for us. It was the manager who should've taken care of us after the problem persisted. If you've read this far, then you understand why my family and I will never be coming to this restaurant (which we all once loved and enjoyed) again. I don't recommend anybody come here unless they want a horrible experience. read more

The only reason I put one star is so I can leave a comment..... This place is DISGUSTING and FILTHY. When we first arrived we were set at our table and The table was so filthy it had left over trash on it and then table was so sticky we had to peel ourselves off of it. Then we ordered an iced tea and came with no ice and the waitress had attitude about putting ice in it. Then we got our food and had a hair in it and the chicken was raw I could take it outside throw it on the floor and cook it better than they did. Also the bathroom was horrendous and the kitchen just amazed me in how dirty it was. Oh and also my sisters hamburger that was supposed to be plain not only came with mustard on it but it was fried in the most dirtiest nastiest pan that tasted like burnt motor oil. No matter how many times we dine out, we always find our way to Chili's. Everything on the menu looks so good that we find it hard to choose only one dish. And without fail, we always end up taking a doggy bag home. If I want to know what ingredients are in an item on the menu, our waiter/waitress is knowledgeable and helpful. And when we can't decide, which is often, he/she will make suggestions on great dishes we didn't notice or hadn't thought to try. So whenever we go, we always try something different. The bar service was horrible. Ordered appetizers. Server handed me the appetizer plate and did not mention that the plate was hot. I burned my fingers and I had to put them in my ice water glass. The server just said she was sorry and left immediately not even asking me if she could do anything for me or if I was ok. . After we got our appetizer it took well over 30 minutes to get our dinner and that was after I asked her what was taking so long all the while she never asked up if we wanted anything at all and ignoring us the whole time we were there. This was one of the absolute worst meals eating out that I have ever had. If I could give it a zero stars, I would. My husband and I went last night and from the start, we should have just walked out. We waited for a hostess to show up to seat us for about 10 minutes, as did several other groups of people. It was about another 15 to 20 minutes before anyone even came to take our drink order. We requested that the table get wiped down because it was absolutely filthy, and no one came to do that for another 15 minutes. The menus were even more vile - the entire booklet was sticky and food crusted. Finally, our drinks came and we ordered our food. It took about 35 minutes for a food to come out, while other tables who had been seated 25 minutes after us we're already getting their meals. When our food did come, it had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time. My husband's steak, which he ordered as medium, was dry to the bone well-done and just disgusting and grey looking. His broccoli was raw and I have no idea how you mess up mashed potatoes so badly. My cajun alfredo pasta was perhaps one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten. The chicken was rubbery and gelatinous and the alfredo sauce had an overwhelmingly awful taste and a grainy texture. I couldn't eat any of my meal it was that bad. We thought about talking to the manager, but decided against it because we had already waited so long for everything that we just wanted to get out of there. It's not like it was a busy evening - it was a Monday at 7pm. I don't know what was going so incredibly wrong that both the service and food was atrocious, but I will never be going back there again. Extremely slow service. Place was filthy. Not only were floors a mess in eating areas, but I walked by the opening to the kitchen and it was filthy. I am celiac and ordered a gluten free meal but due to suspected cross contamination, I ended up quite sick right after leaving. Symptoms were that of getting gluten, I immediately recognized the problem. After seeing the disaster in their kitchen, I can fully believe my meal was cross contaminated. My meal was misplaced somewhere and when the table was served, I didn't have anything. I had to remind them and it took awhile before I was served. read more

If I can give negative stars I would. First off, we were seated promptly which was great because it didn't seem to be busy. Our waitress "Kelly" took our drink order and our food order. When we got our drinks she only gave us 4 straws and there was 5 of us. 1 set of silverware when got our appetizers. Almost 1 hour later we finally got our food but I was cold. Said they got really busy but I only seen 3 people come in after us and the couple next to us got there food in less than 10 minutes while we continued to wait for ours . I thought fajitas was suppose to sizzle when they brought them to the table. These were clearly not even warm. The quesadilla had almost a block of cheese and they didn't even put ranch in it. It was discussting! Again we waited while she went and got more ranch and they burger was so dry. When we got our check we still had food on the table and she didn't even bother to ask if we needed to go boxes. We got up and got them ourselves. Horrible worthless waitress. And as I was paying on this stupid device on the table, she was kind of hovering over me while I put $0.00 tip for her horrible service and as I was taking the survey, she made a face as if she was annoyed. If anything we should be the ones annoyed for not receiving good service. Plus she seemed like she was on a Crack trip. And this whole "table entertainment " charge just to pay at the table is BS! they charged $.99 to use this service . And by the way, the restrooms were so discussting they smelled like a fish market. NEVER EVER AGAIN GOING BACK!! DIRTY DIRTY PLACE!! I used to visit Chilis once or twice a week over a year ago. This place was my favorite. But, after the awful experience on Saturday 6/9/18 I dont think we will return. Our waiter did not bother to ask us for refills we didnt even get her name and dont remember seeing a name tag on her. When our appetizers arrived I asked her to take the empty plates back and give us clean ones since those were very dirty. And once she brought my soup she gave me a dirty nasty spoon and i called her back and asked her for a clean one. Once the main entres arrived she brought me a spoon and put it in my son's macaroni n cheese bowl. I was trying to grab it from her hand so she wouldn't put it in his bowl because i wanted to check it first but she managed to put it in his bowl. After i grabbed it I checked it and I was disgusted to see that it was the same exact spoon i had gaven her the first time. I called her and asked to speak to her manager. He apologized and said everything else he's very sure its clean. Towards the end my son lifted up the paper where the fries were in "not sure what the brown plastic plate is called" and the and i was disgusted to see that they served my kids food in a dirty nasty plate. The only thing covering the nasty left over food from idk how long its been sitting there was the paper they use when they serve fries. I took photos of that to show the manager since he told me everything else was very clean. After this we just decided to pay and go. But before i paid i asked to speak to manager and i showed him the photos i took. And he apologized once again and knocked 1/2 off my ticket and gave me 2 free kids meal tickets. Its just sad how my favorite place has turned out to be one of the nastiest dirtiest places ive visited. I just wonder exactly how the kitchen is being handled. This place seriously needs a new manager. And if anyone wants to know the time we went it was around 9:00 pm. Saturday, June 9th. I gave this 1 star because was the lowest i could give. I have to say of all the different locations I have been to, this was the worse. There were 5 of us tonight, we sat in the bar area 2 at the bar 3 at tables. Paid $68 for terrible service and food. After 2 other tables came after us and already had there food 1/2 eaten ( we had not even received ours) I had to ask the waitress after she finally came by, when it came it was disgusting, my salad was soggy and warm , no avocado ( extra that I ordered) my quesadilla was hard and cold, chicken fettuccine was cold also. She finally brought back a little container with some avocado and it remade quesadilla, no I am sorry nothing. Family and I went for dinner the other night and I ordered the chicken and mushroom fajitas. Everything was cooked perfect expect my sides of guacamole, salsa, sour cream and shredded cheese. My cheese was molded!!! Literally had green spots all in it and tasted like dirt. When we told the manager yes they sent me a replacement with fresh cheese but gave me a bullshit story of how that cheese was NOT molding (I MUST be mistaken) and was pepper jack cheese with seeds in it!! I know pepper jack cheese, and I know mold, that cheese was not pepper jack!! We were not given any discount or anything. I could not eat the rest of my dinner as I was sick to my stomach after I wanted nothing to do with it after that!! We will not be returning to that site again and that's sad to me because I love chili's but won't be told my food was not moldy when it in fact was! If I could this place ZERO stars I would. Took the family for lunch. We ordered drinks and got our menus. There was a staple sticking straight up in the middle of menu which I didn't expect and it stuck my index finger as I opened the menu. It hurt like hell. Our waiter shows up, talking at about one hundred miles an hour, the only male waiter. We placed our order, I told him what had happened and asked him not to hand out that menu because I had spilled blood on it from getting stuck with the staple. That inconsiderate jackass says "Oh, ok. Anything else for your order." We said no. And he walked off. I watched this ass place all the menus back into the hostess desk. There was biohazard fluid on that menu and he didn't give a rats ass about that or didn't even offer a bandaid. Next thing that went through my head was if someone else had been stuck with that same staple before me!!!! Dude provided HORRIBLE SERVICE and a disservice to the public in general. Won't be back. Gave this location several chances and each time we left regretting why we went. This time was the final straw. 20 mins to get greeted, 20 to get our drinks, an additional 15 mins to get my husband's drink because the tap blew and no one knew how to change the keg!!! This was the conversation we heard from the servers and the bartender!!! 20 mins to be asked if we were ordering dinner after that point ans 30 mins to offer up the check. Never saw a mgr, our apps came without utensils. The handheld at the table was out of receipt paper so I never got a reciept...which at this point was the least of our concern. I understand that they could have been short staffed....but where was the manager? Why did not a single employee have a sense of urgency?
