I have been a Spangles fan for many years. The stores are always spotlessly clean, you are always greeted when you come in. They offer you deals every Monday. The food is fresh when it is handed to you. I have one, just one criticism --the menu pricing, and train your staff about said pricing. If you price a menu combo, and it's $9.99, then when I say I want that combo, you can offer me the upsize, but when I say "I just want the one on the board" "what size" "the one priced on the board" "what size" "The size that you have priced on the board, what size it that?" "Do you want it small, medium or large?" "Are the all the same price?" "NO" "Then I want the one that you have priced on the board." Finally I said never mind and left. I don't know what size you have priced on the board., If I want the $9.99 size, then that's the one I ordered. Somehow or another it feels like a bait & Switch. Customers come in and order based on what type of burger they want and the price. They may only have a set amount of money. When we start acting like a car dealer and do all the add-ons the whole experience gets ruined. We just want to order a meal for a price and enjoy the food. If I want paint protection added on, tell me how much it is and let me decide. read more

Fun Elvis/Marylin Monroe inspired modern diner.long descriptive first sentence but true haha. My husband grew up going here so it was very nastalgic for him to be back. It kind of reminded me of a steak n shake but fancier and more Elvis. On this visit our focus, although 37 degrees outside, was drinkable sweet treats. Craving met ! I kept it simple with a strawberry smoothie which I enjoyed. It was a little sweet but I realized they used real strawberries (prob with some syrup) but the real strawberry taste was delightful so no complaints. My husband got a cherry mudslide which he loved. The mudslides comes in many flavors but the key overlapping ingredient is hardened fudge throughout the shake. We also got a strawberry Sunday which was very pretty. All in all a good spot for drinks. Next time I'll try the food ! read more

I ordered in the drive and food was good but i clearly said i wanted buffalo seasoned fries she said not a problem but obviously i guess it was because they always mess up on that in the drive thru and had to pull up by the trash can 5 minutes to wait on my food and they can't even get it right I'm giving up on spangles they messed up on that so many times in the past so this isn't the first time. read more

We had never been there before. The food was ok. We had the turkey pita; which was very good. The floor was sticky in front of the cash register and that was probably the fault of customers. But as we walked through the restaurant, we noticed the floor was dirty all over. Then on the floor we saw a bug crawling. We weren't impressed with this place and probably won't go back. read more

Wow... I'll try to be kind, and/or professional. Went there for dinner on a Monday night (1/2 price burgers). The girl at the register appeared to have a learning disability, asked us over and over to repeat ourselves, then got our order wrong anyway. Spelled my name wrong on the order so we didn't realize when our order was done because they were calling the wrong name! BTW, it took 15 minutes for them to make our food, and not just ours, everyone's! The food was just okay... seemed like the employees were more interested in flirting with the cooks in the back than they were taking care of their customers... of course, that seems to be the norm nowadays at most fast food places... The buns were burnt on all four orders, the order was wrong and it wasn't a cheap meal. and the only compensation was the manager says I am sorry, Ill log the complaint. and if that isn't enough my son had a gift card for $10.00 from Special Olympics and in stead of telling me the computer internet was down the girl kept telling me that there was nothing on the card, then another girl came to the window said she could check the card again because the internet was down. don't go to this location I should have checked yelp first and I wouldn't have went here either. read more

Stopped here to grab a bite to eat while on a road trip with my boyfriend. We ordered the $5 meal deal (a regular burger, fry, drink, and small mudslide of your choice) as well as the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I was very impressed with both options. The cheesesteak was really tasty with great meat and creamy cheese, and the burger was loaded up with toppings that paired nicely with the meat. If I had one complaint, it would be that the cheesesteak sandwich is pretty tiny for the price ($3.99) especially when you compare it to the entire meal we ordered for $5. read more

Food is your typical fast food. Regular cheeseburger is comparable to MD but tastier. The service was outstanding. Especially Ronnie at the drive through. One of the nicest, kindest humans. Very polite, we drove away saying how great he was. To stay that positive and friendly working in his position may be hard to do some days, just wanted them to know we greatly appreciated it. I was headed out of Wichita and on a Monday evening and saw their half-price burgers so I pulled in. I got the mushroom and Swiss on sourdough bread. It is an excellent hamburger with good flavor and not at all greasy. The sizes and toppings are very generous. Love this burger joint. read more

Okay, more an update/impression of their highly-advertised "Black Angus Steakburgers" upgrade: I really don't "get" it. Today, they were running a "Customer Appreciation' promotion (the day before McDonald's does THEIR announced "Customer Appreciation" promo), so I figured this was the perfect time to try the Steakburgers at a "buy one/get one for 13 cents" price. They were obviously busy due to the promotion, but really not significantly more than a normal weekday lunchtime, so I don't think the promotion colored my impressions. Their commercials tout "the taste of Black Angus steak", but what we're looking at here is not a browned, grill-marked smoky hamburger redolent with the flavor of prime steak, it's a gray, loosely-packed hamburger that tastes like...a griddled hamburger. In fact, it tastes EXACTLY like the old Spangles burger, except maybe this one wasn't overly salted and wasn't incinerated like their burgers tend to be. So far as I can tell, they haven't raised the price of these burgers, which is good, because nothing has changed except the texture of the hamburger patty - it's almost "fluffy". My continuing complaint that has never been addressed: the grill staff can't dress a bun to save their lives, most times the tomato's hanging out the edge of the bun, there's a stack of pickles off-center that you have to disassemble the burger and fix yourself, and the purple onions are left in rings that come out of the burger when you try to bite into them. You don't want to eat this burger in a moving car. Overall, if you like locally-produced "chain burgers", this is one of the better options, but there are plenty of better (and cheaper) burger options from independently-owned local burger restaurants. Their flagship Gourmet Supreme meal has almost doubled from $2.99 to $5.79 in a year and a half. read more

The people at the drive through window are so friendly and caring! They not only fooled my offer with a smile, they also were willing to chit-chat and pass the time. Yes it takes a little while getting the food, but, as their tag line says, they serve fresh food. They are definitely great people and they serve great food! read more

For fast food burgers and fries, we like it!!! Spangles does offer some odd limited time options... Current option is spiced fries which were tasty actually but quite salty. Options are ranch, patm and garlic, and Buffalo. I also really like their ham egg and cheese on sourdough for breakfast. read more

This is a horrible Spangles to eat at. It took them forever to get our food, they didn't end up giving us the food that was ordered. And they need to take their mop heads and throw them away and get new ones, because their floors in the whole store was sticky. their employees didn't act like they knew what they were doing, and if the management wears the blue shirts they didn't know what they were doing either!!!!! read more

I am upset about the Spangles on North Broadway by the Artichoke-I am ALLERGIC to tomatoes, the turkey turkey on pita I got today clearly had tomatoes on it and someone took them off instead of making me a new sandwich-Crystal the manager was not there or any of the other girls who know about me and tomatoes-I will miss that place its by work, but this is the second time its happened-took 3 bites and was afraid to eat any more, did not have time to go somewhere else so I had soup and cottage cheese I was lucky enough to have at work-My Moms funeral is this weekend and I have too look nice, no breakouts on my face from TOMATOES-darcy read more
