Such a fun experience from start to finish. Very easy, Jane was super patient and thorough when explaining the basics. We had our RV dropped off and then picked up when we were done camping. A million times more comfortable than a tent, especially with kids. Any questions I had were attended to immediately and I would most definitely rent with them again!

It was my first time ever renting an RV and Chill RV made soo easy. I love the QR codes though out the RV and the iPad with directions extremely helpful. Out trip to Stagecoach was amazing we had all the things we needed to have an amazing trip that they stocked the RV with thing like paper plates , coffee cups , utensils etc. highly recommend!

Chill RV is the best! The customer service is amazing, from start to finish I was able to get my questions answered by Nika and Suzanne. It was my first time renting a sprinter van for LIB and they made the experience seamless and positive. The sprinter RV itself was super comfortable for 2, spacious in the front driver and passenger seat, the bathroom we even showered in, the stove/kitchen area lots of space for storage and food, the bed slept 2 comfortably. I will definitely be going to them for all my future RV trips!

We used ChillRV with Nika for Burning Man this year and wow... it made the whole experience insanely convenient. The RV was spotless, super comfy, and had everything we needed. Honestly it felt like we skipped all the stress and just got to enjoy the best parts of Burning Man. Nika was awesome to work with too. It was totally amazing! They offer all amenities like e-bikes and propane fireplaces and outdoor grills. Everything you need to have a great time we had the Mercedes Winnebago Jay class which was unbelievably powerful and quiet along with generator power, star link for our Wi-Fi, heat air conditioning. Everything was included. Silverware cooking utensils, bedding, pillows, awning in pop out dining area. It was incredible. The even included outdoor chairs and tables. LED lighting and Bluetooth capable outdoor speakers! It was a wonderful time. And even more wonderful was the professional and personable experience with the associates I dealt with during my RV rental. Family owned and dedicated to making every step of renting a high quality capable RV a simple process. Absolutely the nicest people I've ever dealt with. I would and I am planning to rent from Chill RV in the near future. Class A #1 service! The best part was the accommodations and flexibility of picking up and dropping off the RV. They went out of their way to meet me at the RV drop off point. They also decorated the inside of the RV for my son's 7th year anniversary with his girlfriend. And my son was able to help decorate it to pick up spot. It was very nice and personable. I can't say enough about my experience it would take a whole other review. This is our 2nd time renting an RV from Chill RV. This time we rented the Winnebago Navion model D which is a newer model and we were absolutely happy with our choice. With the bigger slide outs it was much more roomy in the cabin and with the solar power really helps with keeping the appliances running and the generator off late at night since the solar power keeps the house batteries charged up. Our host Nika was amazing just like the previous time, it really shows how much they care about customer service. Really the best place to rent a RV without any troubles, they really thought of everything to make the trip hassle free. I highly recommend renting a RV from Chill RV they are the best.

We rented an RV from Chill RV for a family road trip to Calico and St. George, and it was everything we hoped for--and more! Our family of five hit the road in style and comfort. The RV was spotless, ran like a dream, and had everything we needed to make the trip feel like home on wheels. Our little girls absolutely loved the RV life--between the bunk time giggles, cozy breakfasts with a view, and having their "house" come along for the adventure, they were living the dream. We even heard, "Can we live in this forever?" more than once. Support from Chill RV was top-notch. Friendly, responsive, and super helpful from booking to drop-off. Everything worked great and gave us peace of mind so we could focus on making memories. If you're thinking about renting an RV--do it. And do it with Chill RV. Already dreaming about our next trip!

I rented a 25ft Model J Class C RV to take my 2 kids and I to the Grand Canyon for a few days, and everything worked out great! Everything functioned in the RV as advertised, and there were no issues that interrupted our drive or experience. The RV had 3 beds that were about full size each, but the kids primarily used the one in the back. We were able to connect their Playstation to the TV which made the kids (and I) especially happy. The RV did get warm from time to time considering we drove during a warm spell, so we just cooled it down with the generator before we started driving and then turned it off and used the main cabin vehicle AC to keep it cool so we didn't used much propane. The bathroom worked great, and the vents/ fans kept the bathroom and coach smelling normal. One of the very convenient amenities was having on-board WiFi which allowed the kids to have all the entertainment options they're normally used to at home. Also, Jane was great in giving me, a first-time RV driver/user, a thorough introduction to all the features and functionality of the RV. There are convenient QR codes throughout the RV that provide instructions on how to use everything. Well thought out. If I were to ask for any "nice to haves", I'd say maybe a little more engine power. The RV seems to be most comfortable between 60 and 70 mph, and you just have to be mindful during uphill climbs. Overall, it was a great experience that was relaxing and stress free for my kids, which is stress free for me. I'd recommend to friends or family. Thank you Chill RV for making my kids first long road trip a great experience.

The best aspect of chill rv rental is the communication from the very start. As a first timer with RVS, I had many (stupid) questions, and every time picked up the phone (which was many), I was met with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm when answering all the questions I had. The site is also pretty organized with all the information you need. We got the model J Mercedes Winnebago and it was pretty spacious and comfy. If anything, a bit too big for where we were going and the longevity but there's a first time for everything, now we know, and if you're a person who wants to be comfortable, then an RV that sleeps 4 or 5 is enough space for you. Plus it extends out to be extra spacious. Minor inconveniences were a frozen screen for the radio and the seatbelt noise alarm would always ring even though everyone was buckled in but we also had a deadline time to meet to our destination so we couldn't pull over and restart the car which is the #1 solution to reboot anything that pops up in the rv. I rented this rv for an ultramarathon where the location was dry camping (no electric hook ups) and it was 3 days 2 nights so we had enough LP for the generator. Be mindful though that we also didn't need to use as much amenities sonif you're going constantly use either the stove or microwave or AC, electric hook up's is the way to go or a buy an extra generator. During the trip, they answered my questions and reaching out to them was easy. All the videos they send you weeks before your tip are god send and the tutorial when they arrive with the rv is as well, though PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND THEY DO TOO, TO WATCH ALL VIDEOS BEFOREHAND. Our person who gave us the tutorial was lightning fast with it but even if you get someone who takes their time, it's extremely confusing if you don't know how an RV function. I made a google doc with all the notes from the videos and I STILL had questions so, please watch and rewatch all the videos. If anyone needs that google doc emailed lol I can share it! Also take the quiz they provide when you get the tutorial videos email. Muscle memory! This is my go to place now! Thank you for everything!

Chill RV has taken care of us for the past two years. We get our RV dropped off on LA and picked up from our house after our trip. It really could not be more convenient. We had an oopsie and broke the awning and they were very understanding and walked us through the procedure to pay the deductibleand talk to insurance. They made everything super easy. Our fault for breaking the awning but really understanding people working and communicating. 10/10. read more

We are first time RV renter's and we researched so many different companies and Chill RV was by far the BEST option. We were very nervous about renting due to COVID. Not only was the RV spotless but they also delivered it directly to your home and also picked up the RV which was very convenient. Just got back from a family trip to Yosemite. It was our first time renting an RV, and I was a little nervous at first. Our Sprinter RV had a decent turning radius, and once you got used to the height and weight, it was pretty easy to drive. Nika did a great job at explaining all the systems of the vehicle so we knew how to use all the creature comforts, but it's nice to know all the info is readily available inside the vehicle with QR codes and video. We had a nice, comfortable ride, cool place to eat, and even had our own bathroom. What more could you ask for? read more

This was the second year in a row we rented from Chill RVs for our annual EDC Vegas trip. We made our reservation after our first trip to lock in a discount. However we didn't realize we put down the wrong dates and I didn't check until 3 days before our scheduled drop off. We needed to leave Thursday morning but the scheduled drop off was for Thursday evening. I reached out to Chill RV on Monday afternoon and they called me back later that evening. They were able to accommodate us and drop off the RVs on Tuesday instead. This saved our trip and we're still able to leave as scheduled. Great customer service and I look forward to booking with them in the near future. read more

We rented the Revel which is an amazing vehicle. Easy to drive, incredibly capable and everything you need for a boondocking adventure is included in this impressive vehicle. We took the option to have it delivered and picked up. This helped to make the process of setting off our trip that much easier. The deliver process has been thoughtfully planned out and took less than 30 minutes. I've rented from other providers in the past and I don't say this lightly, this was the best experience we've ever had. For reference we did a 9 night stay covering Joshua tree, sequoia and yosemite with Chill RV. Was our first time in an RV and it was an amazing experience. COMPLETE SCAMMERS. Read everything before renting from them. (1) We rented an RV from this company on January 14th-18th the lady we spoke with named Nika. To begin with we rented the RV the same day and confirmed with her that it would be okay. She assured us it would be okay. We got the first RV in NOT working order (the inverter wasn't working). On top of that she was 45 minutes late to our appointment which by the way you meet at a Ralphs Parking lot NOT at their site. So we went home and they delivered another RV to us which was not as nice as the original one. (2) The RV we received has holes in the sink so we couldnt use it or water would splash all over the kitchen and floor (3) the dinette never detached so we couldnt use it for the bed. My husband followed all instructions but it was locked onto the metal pole and wouldnt detach. (4) we returned the RV to them and they accused us of damaging a metal piece of the drivers chair which was completed B.S. That damage was there before we even rented the car as we literally did nothing to it. I am including photos of our email conversation just to show you how much of a scam they are. I emailed her 3 times asking for her "video proof" that she claims to have yet they are ignoring my emails because it is all a lie. (5) lastly the customer service was terrible, she didn't do a walk through on the drop off or the pick up because they were in a "rush" so then leaving room for them to blame the customer for anything that goes wrong because it should have been pointed out in the "walkthrough" that never happened. I noticed there were other families that delt with very similar situations. Please read other peoples reviews they are TRUE. read more

Hands down my fave RV rental company. From start till the end. Friendly and knowledgeable staff show you everything you need before you start your trip and are also available via sms in case you need anything. But RV comes with an Ipad and has all instructions on it and the RV has QR codes on all major appliances to show you how to operate them. This time we had the Model P (Vita) RV. Rented an RV spot with no hookups at Lake Hemet this time so i had to manually refill water tank and empty waste. Super easy to do. Plus if you get stuck just play their videos and you good to go. What a trip we rented the P model style 2 and it drove great in the mountains. This was our first time using an RV and it was really easy . The video helped in any area we were not sure of. We just returned from our RV trip as a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) plus our dog. We traveled to the Grand Canyon with a couple of two night stops along the way. It was our first time renting an RV and had an amazing trip. The renting process was very easy and when they dropped it off they walked us through everything we would need to know to operate it. It was clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable too. We had an issue with the battery dying once on the road but the response from Nika was immediate when I called and she was able to provide a hack and we were back up and running in 6 minutes. We had the best time with our rental from ChillRV and our 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday in Leo Carrillo with family simply wouldn't have been possible without them. The at-home delivery made loading/unloading a breeze and the vehicle was clean and easy to drive. They include an iPad loaded with instructional videos and the RV has little QR code stickers throughout for helpful quick reminders on how certain things work in case you need help. It's also nice that it came reasonably stocked with basic kitchen and bath items -- coffee, knives, paper plates, etc -- so we didn't have to make a laundry list of things to buy before-hand. It even came with camping chairs! Staff are super nice and helpful, and rates were very reasonable. Rent from them and have fun! read more

Me, my boyfriend and our two cats rented a Model J to take to Joshua Tree, and it was perfect. The RV was spacious, had all the necessities and most importantly, was really easy to use for newbies like us. I was worried that it would be complicated, but these guys made it super simple. We watched online training videos, then they showed us how to use everything in person and then there was an iPad with videos too. It really is as user friendly as it gets. We had so much fun and can't wait for our next trip! read more

I've rented from this company for a roadtrip before so when my house flooded and I needed a temporary place to live, I knew who to call. It took about a month for the whole water damage repair, and luckily the insurance covered the entire RV rental cost for me. Staying in the rv for a long term rental proved to be more comfortable than I expected actually! There was only me and my wife and it was very comfortable for us both. Initially when I was looking into my housing options after needing to move out of my house, I considered going to a hotel. But after weighing the options of packing everything I needed for a whole month, I decided it would be more convenient to stay in my front yard in an rv. I didn't know if it would be possible to do a long term rv rental in my home, so I had a million questions about it. I had a consultation call and was instructed to send some photos of the space where the rv will be parked and what hook ups I had for water and sewer. Although I couldn't find my sewer hook up at first, with some assistance I found it after all. When the rv was delivered the team leveled it for me, plugged in the electricity, water and sewer and reminded me how to use everything since it's been a while since my last rv rental. My house is now done and I'm sad to part with the rv because I've grown to really enjoy the coziness but I'm also really excited to get my full sized shower back. Best part though is that I'm a pro at using it now, so my next "travel" rv trip will be eazy peezy. read more

A friend of mine had recommended Chill RV for my girls trip to Joshua Tree and after doing some research, I rented from here. I've never been the one "responsible" for an RV before, so it was a little intimidating at first, but it actually turned out to be pretty simple to book and use the RV. Amazing from start to finish! We had never done an RV trip before, never mind going from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon, to Dallas, to Sedona and back! Nika and everyone at Chill RV made sure we were comfortable, understood everything we needed to (they provide an iPad with a ton of "how to" videos as well) and they were available on the fly for any questions we needed answered along our 10-day journey. They provide all the creature comforts of home, such as dishes, silverware, other kitchen utensils, first aid kit, dish and hand soap, extension cord, coffee, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, DVD's, etc. You only need to bring your food! We rented the 2020 Porto and fell absolutely in love with it. It's in pristine condition and very spacious and comfortable to "live" in. We looked at many, and some less expensive companies. We chose Chill RV based on incredible customer service (especially when we had to delay our trip for a month) and their incredible fleet of RVs. We will most definitely be doing business with them again. read more

Rented a Rv for a camping trip (J Model) and will definitely use this company again. Everything was so easy from the rental to the end. The staff is friendly and helpful! (Thank you Nika!). They will drop off the RV to you (yes they deliver!) with an attendant who explains EVERYTHING to you about how the RV operates (Great of you never used an RV before) They give you books, pages, an iPad with videos about how to use the camper, and phone number to call, so you can find help when needed. They even had QR codes around to look up help from your phone. They always respond very quickly if you need to reach the staff. The RV was very clean when it arrived and we went the weekend without any problem!! They offered so many things to help your weekend along like a toaster, coffee machine, cups, utensils. I can't say enough praises for how much this made our trip worth it!! read more

Had a great trip to the Grand Canyon in the Mercedes Sprinter Revel. Sprung for the dropoff/pickup service and Jane was a great help getting me setup. Van was in great shape and drove perfectly along the 500 mi route. Cold temps at night weren't a problem w/ the furnace keeping us warm. Would definitely rent a van or RV from Chill RV again! Our RV road trip was an absolute blast! We have rented from the "big" RV company before and from now on we will only rent from Chill RV. The service is top-notch, friendly, and thorough. The RV was fantastic. There were three families on our trip: two families with Chill RV Model J's, and another family with a "standard RV" from the big chain company. The Chill RV's were simply luxury in comparison. They came perfectly clean, everything worked, nothing leaked, no side-view mirrors fell off the RV while on the road (!), and Nika was available 24-7 for any questions we had. We rented a j model RV and it was absolutely wonderful so easy to drive plenty of room for the four of us totally clean and it ran on diesel and we went all the way to San Diego on a half a tank and came back on a half a tank it was great I can't say enough things about how wonderful and accommodating the staff was and how much I enjoyed driving that RV read more

Their good reviews may be only reflective of some of their polite…read morestaff but if you end up having any types of issues, which may be likely to happen as you can see from the numerous bad reviews, you will not have any ethical, fair treatment by management. Highly recommend you stay away from renting here. Our experience: the TV was not installed properly or may have had a defect which caused it to fall and strike a passenger on the head. This happened at the beginning of our trip so not only was it not usable during our trip but also unsafe--big disappointment! We called and notified management of our mishap and they reassured us that we would be taken care of upon return. There were also other issues during our trip such a piece of exterior trim that kept on detaching and caused us to have to pull over several times during our trip to reattach it; cooling system issues and the RV not being properly cleaned from the previous use. With COVID concerns, not having a properly clean RV only further aggravated our experience with El Monte RV. Needless to say, all of this was distressing and inconvenient. But, the worst part of our experience was the insensitivity, lack of concern and unethical behavior that the manager, Tim Rutledge, showed us upon our return! When we returned the RV and asked to speak to a manager, Tim met us with hostility. This was an insult on top of all the inconveniences and distress we went through. Tim had the audacity to try and turn it around and blame us! He started by accusing us of damage on one of the rims but we sternly pointed out that the damage was there at the time of the walk-through and the staff member had made a note of it. Tim said that it was not in the notes and continued to place blame and responsibility on us. He asked if we had a picture of the pre-existing rim damage. We told him that this is their job and that we trusted that since this was acknowledged by his staff when we picked up the RV, that we trusted them to document it properly. When he saw that we were not going to back down, he then accused us of being responsible for a missing hub cap and insisted on not giving us a credit. Once again, we asserted that there was no hub cap on that tire when we took the RV from their lot. Fortunately, we happen to have taken a picture in front of the RV and have proof that the hub cap was already missing prior to our trip. At this point, he conceded that the damages where preexisting. and proceeded to offer what was a dismal and unacceptable refund. By then, we just wanted to be done and out of there so we agreed to that negligible amount. Upon processing the credit to my card, he mumbled disrespectful comments suggesting that we "were hanging from the TV" and this is what caused it to become loose and drop. Tim needs some training in respect and business ethics. We wonder how many times he has intimidated people out of a fair deal. We will not be renting from this company again and we strongly recommend that you find another RV rental such as RV Share, Cruise America or one of many other great companies out there if you want to avoid being scammed for unfair fees and poor customer service.

Arturo gave us a great walkthrough of all the RV's features and really set us up for success. When you're talking with these guys, you know that they really care about you having a fantastic and easy time on your adventures. The RV was fully stocked with everything we could have needed - linens, coffee machine, kitchen gear, cleaning supplies, the works! I definitely did not need to pack so much, because it was clear that they had already thought of everything their clients might need. The RV was pristinely clean and didn't have a single technical issue. And the fact that they take Sunday dropoffs was a lifesaver! This was the first time we'd ever rented an RV, and the whole experience was so smooth and comfortable that I can't wait for another excuse to go on an RV trip. I did a lot of research on private rental companies vs. owner rentals. I really liked how luxurious the interiors were and how they offered delivery and pick up. It was more pricey but I wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give Road shark a try and it worked out beautifully. *One thing I did not know is how much additional rental insurance etc. you had to tack on with the rental. Besides that, the amenities were suitable for my family of four and my two fur boys. I checked in with Brett prior to delivery date to get some of my questions answered. He personally delivered the RV and gave us a run down of all the amenities and how to operate everything. I appreciated the accuracy of the yelp photos of the interiors. So many times you rent and find out when you arrive, the pictures were very outdated and what you get paid is not what you get. Not in this case. I paid for Wifi connection but they did not bring an ipad for connectivity. Brett apologized and said he would comp us for the Wifi charge. He told us we could just use our phone's hotspot and connect. It worked out nicely, and we had Wifi at the campgrounds. We were comped for it. Brett made sure we understood all instructions before he hailed an uber back to LA. Since it was out first time RV-ing, we went to KOA in San Diego to reduce anxiety. the drive was smooth up to 65 miles per hour. When we exceeded the recommended speed, things would start rattling and shaking. We quickly understood why we had to adhere to the speed recommended to drive. Other than that, my kids were very happy sitting in the back enjoying their onboard entertainment. When we arrived at the campgrounds, went pulled into our spot with full hookups. We took note the black water port did not have an adapter so we could not hook it up full time to empty. I texted Brett and he said we could either purchase a kit that would be reimburses or not empty it (and we would not get charged since no adapter). We later figured out a way how to manually empty as needed. Everything else worked well. I was extremely surprised at how well the convection oven/microwave worked for the kids chicken nuggets and corn dogs. Even though all the kitchenware was included in the RV, we still brought our own pans and disposable dishware. The beds were clean, freshly laundered sheets smelled great but did not fit the beds well (probably a common issue). It only comes with 3 sets of sheets and towels. Only two pillows which I also asked Brett about. He said we could purchase some and they will comp us for the cost. We survived without it. We took a shower the first night on the RV but then decided to transition to the showers in the building due to space. The onboard water temp and pressure was great. I did not have to worry about running out of hot water. The toilet flush pressure was also ideal to combat my husbands bathroom trips. No issues with the kitchen sink or any other appliances. The fridge was a perfect size for all our meats and frozen desserts. The car shades in front and the shades for the interior created a perfect environment for sleep. We really enjoy the outside LED light awnings. We utilized the camp ground picnic table and internet to eat dinners and watch movies around the campfire. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Brett had great communication throughout the trip and the last day as we came home. I let him know we were heading back and he let us know when he would be coming over to provide pick up. We got home, he came to pick up the RV, and he was on his way back to LA. About a week later I received the email about the $1,500 deposit scheduled for refund on our account, and he swapped the pick up delivery/fee with the Wifi charge. I highly recommend renting with RoadShark RV. We had a great newbie glamping experience. The price of a comfortable and newer interior rental made all the difference for me and my family. He takes the time for the tour, gives tips, friendly and helpful in every way even under the immense heat and more obnoxious loads of questions. On the road: I never had an issue but if i had some concerns or forgot how to work something, Todd would always answer or call back shortly after. I felt safe knowing that the Van is very well maintained and that I had someone REALLY there if I needed it. The Pleasure Way Vans that are available are top of the line comfort for these camper vans, and it was really enjoyable to travel in it. We did 3500 miles and did amazing things and stayed at amazing places. All this trip wouldn't of been as special without our home on wheels. Its fun and very convenient to always have everything with you. My experience renting from Tinno was literally the worst business experience I've ever had. I have always conducted myself in an honest manner. In this case, I was very upfront with Tinno about minor curtain damage (tiny dirt marks). And yes indeed there was some extra dust inside plus one small scratch on the exterior. I believe something from the road hit the side of the Airstream. The scratch in question was so small it was hard to even see. I find it dishonest and frankly offensive that Tinno responded to my review saying there were tears in the curtains (false!) and golf ball sized scratches that cost $4500 (false!). I would gladly swear under oath that these statements by him are categorically untrue. At the end of the day, I paid Tinno over $4,000 for an Airstream that retails new at $45K. The deposit he kept was $1500, a significant amount by any standards. And I had use of the Airstream for all of 9 days. Believe me folks, if you want peace of mind while on your adventure, go somewhere else because this guy has already done this at least twice now (read other reviews). Thank you for reading. I hope nobody has to experience this feeing of being picked off, not fun. Enjoy your travels people. And be safe on the roadways.

Better late than never! We had not one, but two G-R-E-A-T experiences with ChillRV. Our first experience was in August 2018, we had almost 15 days working on the road with my (at the beginning of the trip, girlfriend). We started our trip in LA, then went to the parks (Sequoias and Yosemite). Sadly, Yosemite had those big fires and was closed. Our trip continued to Lake Tahoe, where we've experienced really great, and super funny days staying at Camp Richardson. After that, we headed to SF! We've decided to stay at a RV Resort in pacifica, and just grabbed an uber to go to the city. Was an excellent idea, since you can enjoy SF by walking, cable car, bus, bart...., and avoid being on the city trying to find a place to park the RV... Just remember to download MuniMobile app, the daily pass will worth the value. The RV is your home too, and where you store your valuables, so probably you want to avoid places where you can come back to the car and see a broken window... Anyway, to finish our trip we traveled through the (recently reopened!) CA1 from North to South (IMHO, best direction to take, since you can get better views of the ocean and stop easily at vista points without crossing the opposite lane). A couple of days here, a couple of days there, and finally we've arrived to LA to take the plane that would take us home again. Summarising, great experience, we had some issues (sh$% happens) that Nika and Alex (and Mom! sorry! I don't remember her name!) helped to solve. But, at the beginning I've said TWO great experiences! Yes, we came back. In that first trip, something that I've omitted is that my girlfriend and I got engaged! At Big Sur! Great choice, super romantic :) Soooo, when we where thinking "What can we do for our honeymoon? Another RV Trip? Why not!" So we gave Chill RV another opportunity to allow us to see Yosemite, in a different way. And that really was worth it. Again, we've started from LA. This time, we were able to met Alfonso, who picked us directly from LAX, then we went with Alfonso to a quiet place near the airport, we signed the contract, checked everything, dropped Alfonso (sorry!!) and started our new adventure. The RV was ENTIRELY decorated for the newlyweds, and since we're not from the US we were able to experience a little bit of your culture regarding newlyweds. A LOT of people waving hands to us, or just honking at us. I have to say that at first sight, I thought that something was wrong, maybe a flat tire... but not, was the effect of the GIANT sign saying "JUST MARRIED" :) Ok...lets keep the review on track... We headed to Yosemite. No fires this time, a really great experience, we were able to (please arrive early!!) park at Yosemite Valley and go around the valley using the bikes. After Yosemite, we went to Lake Tahoe (yes, again!), this time we were staying at Sugar Pine Campground. Excellent choice, much better chance to experience silence and nature. Just to make it short, after Tahoe went to SF, CA1 again, more days at Big Sur than last time, and continued to the south to reach LA. This time, we picked up Nika, and she drove with us to LAX (Thanks for the ride!). That was the end, after that we've boarded a plane and come back to our house. The adventure has ended :( We really expect to have another oportunity to be there again, in one of those RV from Nika. Thanks a lot guys, keep doing great as you really do. Tips: Avoid panicking if you read that Wawona tunnel (Yosemite from south) clearance at curb is lower than RV Height, you're fine. If you go with a car to Palace of Fine Arts in SF, be careful, we saw a lot of cars with broken windows (almost all cars parked, we were lucky and not with the RV, on second time we rented a car to go around in SF) read more

I recently had the absolute pleasure of renting an RV for the trip to Burning Man, and I cannot recommend this company highly enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. The RV itself was in pristine condition, perfectly prepared for the unique and often challenging environment of the festival. It had everything needed the trip to be comfortable in Black Rock City. We recently rented a Model "J" RV from Chill RV Rentals for a family road trip up the California coast and across to Yosemite, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! At first, I was a bit apprehensive about driving something so much larger than what I'm used to, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to handle. It felt very similar to driving a car, which immediately put me at ease. Parking was also surprisingly simple--we comfortably fit into two regular spots length-wise, that were always available only a little farther away when visiting stores and had no issues parking on the side of the road when we wanted to stop and grab a bite or enjoy the scenery. The RV itself was spotless, and Nika, the company representative, was incredibly helpful. She patiently walked me through the introductory process, explaining everything in a clear and thorough way. Beyond the in-person walkthrough, the RV came equipped with an iPad that outlined all the systems. Each system even had a QR code nearby, so if you ever had questions, you could quickly access solutions online or via the iPad. The 2 times in 10 days that I needed extra assistance, I called the company directly, and Nika answered immediately. She was kind, helpful, and even resolved my questions quickly, making the entire experience stress-free. The interior setup of the RV was a hit with our three teenagers--it felt like a decked-out Airbnb vacation rental on wheels! The large dining table became their activity hub while we drove: one built Legos, and the other two played their PlayStation, which connected to the big TV above the kitchen area. Time flew by for all of us, and the kids were always surprised at how quickly we reached our destinations. They didn't even have time to watch any of the DVD movies that were provided by the company. This rental has completely changed how we view road trips. Gone are the days of being packed in a car surrounded by luggage and the frequent potty stops. Now that we know how easy and enjoyable it is, we'll definitely be taking more family adventures. I do not write many reviews because it takes a lot to dissatisfy me. However, Chill RV is a company that greatly disappointed me and I will never rent another RV from them. Word for the wise - look elsewhere or you will be charged to maintain their old RVs! The first time we rented from Chill RV in 2020 everything went well. We were provided a relatively new RV - far better than the Cruise America RVs we had rented in the past - and the experience was smooth. The next summer we lined up a trip and had to cancel about 2 weeks before. Since we didn't have the insurance, we lost our $1,000.00 deposit, which was understandable since we had to change our plans near our reservation. No complaints on my end even though it was a loss of $1,000.00 that Chill RV gained. I was able to look past this. So what did they do to greatly disappoint me? We rented an RV this past summer and it was advertised online to be a new RV. When it was dropped off at our house, we saw it was an old RV (we named her "Old Bertha") that had over 250,000 miles on it. The AC didn't work, all the interior was old and outdated and the generator would not start. Within 2 hours of receiving the vehicle, the step function failed due to engage. We texted Chill RV when it happened and they told us, without any evidence to support, that we must have hit something and broken the step. This was not the case! We hit nothing and had just left our house. The step was obviously old and rusty and had broken due to age. Despite this, they charged us for the replacement of the step. They would not discuss the charge and failed to call me back on the subject. Looks like we will have to get this resolved in court, which is incredibly unfortunate and a waste of everyone's time. It is the principal though. Thus, in summary, do not rent from Chill RV. There are so many other companies that rent RVs and I would recommend to look elsewhere. read more

Rving is our preferred way of vacationing. We really like going to national parks of all sorts, you name it and we've probably been there. So we've worked with a lot of RV rental companies. As of yet, Chill RV Rentals have been better than every single RV rental company we've hired. The customer service was great, the price very reasonable, and most importantly the RV was spectacular. We rented the Mercedes Winnebago Model J. It had a spacious layout, everything worked just like it should, it was well stocked, and CLEAN! We took our first trip in January to Mammoth Lake. The RV was delivered to my house (free of charge) and Alex taught me the ins and outs. Although I have a lot of RVing experience there were nuances of this RV that I'm glad he showed me. The whole training took a little less than an hour. We had a couple questions while on the road and all were answered within minutes by text. First company we've worked with to offer that. We made reservations for our second trip within a week of the first one, this time to go to San Diego with friends. Because we were taking it into town, we decided to tow a car. We rented the tow hitch and the electric Fiat from Chill RV (not on their site directly though). From our experience on the first trip, the RV is small enough to take it into town if we wanted to, but looking for parking is still a hassle. Having the Fiat was great from that perspective. Our trip was 7 nights and we went all over San Diego. Enjoying the city but coming back to the campsite for an evening campfire and beer. In terms of the price, I look at it this way, hotel + rental car is about the same price as a Mercedes RV but half the experience or the comfort. To me it's an obvious choice every time. read more

Every now and then you find a company doing it right - As the President of the California Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, I find it necessary to travel. That means get an Uber, sit in LA traffic, fight my way to the airport registration, check my bags, walk what seems 1/2 mile to the gate, wait, wait, wait...and if the stars align, the plane arrives. Then after an hour flight from LA to San Francisco, find my bags, walk another 1/2 mile to departures, find another shuttle/taxi, ride through SF traffic to a hotel...I could go on and on. Basically, after spending 6-7 hours and arriving exhausted, I decided to try something different. I contacted Chill RV for a different experience. I loaded up an RV, which had been delivered to my doorstep, with my clothes, sheets, towels and favorite snacks. Cooper (my King Charles Cavalier pup) hopped in, and we had a leisurely 'vaca' in the comfort of a roomy RV. No cramped airline seat with my knees under my chin instead, a table and seating for snacks along the way. Dinner? We stopped at our favorite restaurants along the way so the 3 of us could dine together, just like at home. The time spent was similar and SO MUCH more enjoyable. Do I recommend Chill RV? Without question! It was a wonderful experience which will be enjoyed again and again in the future. P.S. My other travel person (who also helped with driving and Cooper assistance) was the News Director at WCNi News Service. As a result, there's going to be a nationally distributed news story about my RV vs. Airline "Road Trip" decision and my duties as President at the fall conference of California's Clinical Nurse Specialist Conference and Annual Business Meeting. read more

It was our first time ever renting an RV, and we can honestly say it turned into one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, exciting, and incredibly well thought out. This was my first time at Burning Man festival and I stayed in a Chill RV. Not only was the RV perfect for me, it was so thoughtfully packed and prepared. I've never been to Burning Man before and since I've rented from Chill RV before, I called them first to find out they actually specialize in hosting for the Burn! Score! The price wasn't cheap but after experiencing Burning Man in their RV, I understand why it's priced the way that it is, and I'm glad I made the decision to rent here. The RV was meticulously prepared. All the windows were covered with an insulated reflective material, at first I was confused about this, but after I experienced a 50 per mile dust storm and no sand got into my RV whatsoever, I understood why all the windows were covered. The reflective material also helped to fight off the heat during the day and made it cooler in the RV. I also stayed at the Chill Camp which came with electric hook ups, water refill and pump out service. It was great to not have to stress about making sure the rv was taken care of. As a first time Burner, it can get overwhelming to figure out everything that needs to be done, so I appreciated renting with a company who clearly knows what they're doing. Thank you so much Chill RV, you made my first Burning Man unforgettable! I can't wait to go back!!! read more

Finally getting around to posting about my Burning Man RV. There was a group of 4 of us that stayed in the Model J. It was perfect. We had plenty of room for everyone, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen came in handy as we did do some cooking while at Burning Man. I really appreciated that there was someone on the Playa that I can contact if needed, and boy did we did need to. Oops. We accidentally burned out our generator, but Chill RV to the rescue! They had a backup generator that they brought to us that same day. SAME DAY! So we didn't have to roast in the heat and were able to run the AC. I cannot thank them enough for being available to come save us so quickly. Nika explained what we did wrong and didn't scold us, but instead was friendly and patient. Very chill if I say so myself. (Turns out that if you run out of liquid propane, you shouldn't just keep trying to start the genny anyways. Rookie mistake). We picked up the RV in Reno. Not many companies offer that, and we really didn't want to drive all the way from Los Angeles. But the coolest part, we were able to load the RV in Los Angeles so when it got to Reno, all of our stuff was already in it! They are the only ones that offered that, no one else did. What a great service that made all the difference. read more

We've recently returned from a memorable 18 night, 1,800 mile trip exploring the backroads and national parks of California. After much research we decided to rent a Winnebago RV from Chill RV. The reservation process with Nika was very smooth and we got everything we wanted - one way rental and a 2017 or newer model. Nika delivered the van in person to our hotel in LA and took the time to ensure that we were familiar with all the equipment and features. We were hugely impressed as the van was just like new and even better equipped than we'd realised. We headed out of LA for Joshua Tree. The van is remarkably easy to drive and manoeuvre (has a rear view camera). It's not as wide as many models you see as the side slides out to give you more room when you stop for the night. This is a very comfortable and luxurious van. Everything worked like new and we were appreciative of the heating on the colder mornings. Most of our camping was 'unhooked' and the van performed superbly both in the desert and the mountains. This company provides exceptional service from start to finish. New vehicles, immaculate in every detail and fully stocked. Allyou really need is your food. Incidentals that are not included are available at a very reasonable cost in the event that it is not included . They even provide latex gloves so you can keep your hands clean. You also get an iPad full loaded with all the information you may need for operation once you get where you are going. You will find that Chill does charge more than national brands but there is no comparison, and they deliver and pickup from your home. You also get a state of the industry Winnebago/ Mercedes View motorhome, where the others provide ga V8 van bodies with tons of mileage and wear and good luck that everything works. For a true VIP experience you will not find a better RV rental than these folks. I rarely give good reviews on anything, but theses folks go out of their way to accommodate and you truely get what you pay for, and their vehicles do not look like U Hauls or Cruise America full on rent me signs, in fact people will think you have your ownRV. They are family owned and operated and it shows. read more

Would I rent again? Absolutely! I have rented numerous RVs and by far this one was my favorite. Both the RV itself and the company were outstanding. Chill RV was very responsive to all the questions I had before I rented and also while on the road. The RV came to me super clean and ready for the trip - all I had to do was load up. Not only was I given a rundown on how to operate the RV but the company is very good on communication within the RV; they have a lot of QR codes all over the place in case you forget how to operate something inside or out. They also provide a tablet and a Wi-Fi hotspot - both very useful while on the road. And, the RV was really easy to drive (except in super high winds - but all RVs are that way). Additionally, it's very important for me to speak to an actual person and to be able to use my own insurance. This company hit both marks. I also appreciated the simple touches like seat covers, floor mats, trash bags, paper towels, and a broom and dust pan. They thought of everything to make it a clean and comfortable trip. I don't have any complaints and definitely plan on renting from them again. read more

First trip with Chill RV and many more to come! If you considering renting from them JUST DO IT! RV is in great condition and above all the customer service is one of the best I have ever experienced, first the amazing lady Jane who delivered the RV to me was super friendly and explanatory she left me with all I needed to know. As well Chill RV leave an Ipad with couple of short videos that explain it all ABOVE ALL whenever I called, and I have more than couple of times (it was my first RV trip as a solo driver and operator single Mom with 3 minors) they answered me both the owner Nika and Jane and always were happy to help. from now on I will go only with them as I recommend you do the same. be mindful there is extra costs for insurance, cleaning this and that plus $0.45 per extra mile above curtsey first 100 miles gas. though with every other company you have the same or similar costs... So, it was our first experience traveling to Yosemite as a family. When planning our trip, my wife and I decided that we needed to rent an RV - we have 3 little ones 5 and under, so not quite ready for tent-camping yet! After looking around, we found Chill RV, and we're so glad we did - not only were the rates reasonable, but everything about the experience was amazing. From the easy to digest information ahead of time, getting the RV dropped off and picked up from our house (HUGELY helpful!), and in-person walkthrough of the RV functions, the trip was a huge success! Not to mention, the RV itself was an awesome ride; clean, well maintained, easy to drive, and easy to live in, it immediately felt like a second home. While we may not always rent RV's down the road as our kids get older, we can safely say that when we do rent them, it will be with Chill RV. 10/10 recommended, especially for those camping with younger children. I think this deserves way more stars, it was the most amazing experience we had ! We were first timers renting an RV, so we didn't know anything but we were lucky to be helped by Nika. She was so kind, so patient and so available. She took time to train us and explain everything in such a simple way that we felt comfortable immediately. The Rv was a recent Mercedes model, fully equipped, all you need for a trip was included in the RV, such as cooking appliances, coffee maker, chilling chairs, and even a portable barbecue ! There were so many that the list would be too long to enumerate. Amazing, right ! Chill Rv helped us, and with Nika Everything from reservations to drop off and pick up were so smooth. Honestly, the whole experience made us feel at ease and not worried a second, despite the fact it was our first time renting an rv. Our experience was fantastic with this RV, it was brand new and perfect for our four family group. We made long trip from LA to Grand Canyon, then Las Vegas, Yosemite, San Francisco and finally back to LA. Nike and Alex were very helpful explaining all the features of the RV, even answering phone calls while we were on our way to understand things that we had forgotten on how to operate the different systems. The RV is very complete in features and amenities, so we were entertained during the whole trip of two weeks. Alex was very kind to deliver it and retrieve it where we told them to, so it makes any foreign traveller easy to operate with them. Nothing to bring in, all is included. We had selected their company for the good reviews they have and I want to increase that list, supporting the excellent reviews they have. The Mercedes truck unit is easy to drive and the mileage is great! read more
