Chuys and Chipotle you're on notice. On first approach it would be easy to look at this place and think this is another fast casual place along the lines of Subway and Chipotle and you wouldn't be wrong. You wouldn't be wrong one bit. And that would be fine. But you're missing it entirely. While Chipotle maybe fantastic, I'd stop short of calling it sit down restaurant quality food. Chiloso is true restaurant quality food done quickly and in expensively. I'd put the quality of food up there with Chuys but better and it blows past On The Border as well. The prices are quite reasonable as well $5 for a taco may seem like a lot but they really over stuff them. Look at my pics and see. So instead of those other places I use to go at the very least Chipotle has been replaced and I'll be going to Chuys less.

Have been going to this place for years as it expanded all throughout DFW. Other than the amazing flavors, one of my favorite parts is that you can always tell it's fresh. Basically a better version of chipotle for many reasons. 1. Free queso on entrees 2. Free chips and salsa (refills on both if needed) 3. Friendly staff (we all know how chipotle gets, is as if they don't want you there) 4. Breakfast (which is amazing) 5. More options Can't recommend this place enough!

I popped in today after not having eaten here in quite a while. Ordered a salmon taco (made to order vs the build your own bowl line) and perused reviews while I waited, thanks Yelp, for my lunchtime entertainment. Anyway...there were a number of rough reviews from a few years ago, but I was quite happy with my Monday lunch! Taco was hot, fresh and flavorful. Guac was super-fresh and I know because I've got special brown-avocado detection skills. I was served a flavorful side of rice as well, and when I observed that all three salsas/sauces looked good at checkout, she happy gave me all three. Restaurant is very clean and has been well-maintained since I was last here. I'll certainly be stopping by more often.

Build your own steak bowl (~$15.50) with guac (~$3) with free chips and salsa.

I'd been hearing a lot of buzz about Chiloso as a replacement for that other big chain burrito place and I had to take a trip out to try it out as I apparently live in the no mans land that they skipped over as a part of their expansion strategy. I'm happy to say, I think the category might have a new leader. It's always hard to rate a build your own bowl place as the experience generally comes down to how much the managers clamp down on portion sizes and how generous the employee is feeling at the time, but if my experience is anything like the norm then I would say this place is more generous than any of the competition. For a slight premium, I got more, far fresher tasting ingredients than the other places with chips and salsa included. Good value for the money as I likely could have just eaten this today and been fine. The biggest surprise to me is there was some actual spice to my relatively simple bowl. I'm not sure if it was something in the Mexican rice, the queso, the steak marinade, or maybe even something in the guac, but I have a low spicy burn throughout the meal which doesn't tend to happen without a salsa in these kind of places. Spicy food lovers take note. Overall Chiloso was really good for what it is. Would I drive 40 miles round trip and pay $7 in tolls to eat there again? No. If they opened one in Carrollton however I doubt I'd ever set foot into a competitor ever again. Worth checking out if you have one in your area.

I've ordered this same exact order twice in a row now & had the same bizarre experience... I chose "lime on the side" while ordering on Uber Eats, but didn't mean a wedge of lime literally IN my burrito?? I'm so confused because I've discovered a whole lime wedge inside my burrito both times now. Usually love this place, but the quality has gone down a lot & this makes me soo confused...

We wanted to try Tex-Mex tonight so when we saw a familiar name we thought we'd give this location a try. The portion size was great. Our server made our 2 Chicken Bowl to-go orders as if we were "eating in". Since I wasn't taking care of the ticket, I was told that the EXTRA $3.25 guacamole price should have been mentioned prior to it being placed on my bowl. I overlooked this small mishap with the complimentary small bag of chips and salsa that came with each chicken bowl. The ingredients were all fresh, not frozen, or pre-made. I'll be back!

Better than chipotle. Good atmosphere and always consistent with their food. Never had a problem with service either.

Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. $13.53 for a chicken and rice bowl? Save your money and go elsewhere.

The line wraps around the building which looks promising however, they missed the mark on flavor. If you want pretty pictures and social media "likes" this is the place to go but if you want incredible tasting food i would suggest finding another place. We decided to come here on my birthday since I've been wanting to try it for over a year now but never wanted to deal with the long wait. After a 45 minute wait we finally got the text that our table was ready. We promptly made our way through the rest of people waiting and got inside for the host to tell us we were past our 5 minute window so our table was gone but they would go ahead and sit us somewhere else. I explained we were right outside and came in as soon as we got the notification and even shown them the time stamp on my message that was only 3 minutes ago. The 3 minutes was the time it took for us to fight through the crowd and actually get inside. Where they ended up seating us was incredibly cramped and the whole time we felt like we were completely in the way of the servers or had people walking by brushing against us or nearly knocking stuff off our table. I started with the seasonal tiramisu latte, it was beautifully presented but very awkward to drink with all the garnishes. Once i got to the actual drink it tasted like your standard pot coffee, not espresso, and the layering was terrible. The coffee at the bottom was still hot while the milk of top was cold. I tried mixing it up and all that did was melt the ice leaving me with a watered down bland tasting latte that was luke warm. Next, i got the birria burrito with rosemary potato's. Similarly when it came out it was beautifully plated. Upon tasting, it was the most bland and unseasoned burrito I've ever had. My wife got the lemon curd french toast, unfortunately it was not as picture perfect as there was a hair on the plate when it came out. She also mentioned that the french toast needed more flavor, only the top piece had any lemon on it leaving the remaining 2 slices completely bare and boring. Our server was incredibly nice and accommodating, when we got our check she asked if it was our first time, which it was, so she asked how we liked everything. I mentioned that it was alright but a bit under-seasoned to which she replied that they have received several complaints about under seasoning but that everyone has different taste and therefore they season everything lightly. Based on that, it seems like their chef has different taste than everyone else and that taste is bland. It's disappointing that they hit all the marks except the most important one, flavor. I think this place could be incredible if they would just added more salt to everything and season their food appropriately. I understand some people have different taste, but if your getting consistent feedback that the food is lacking flavor, maybe you should try and fix it. Pictures and decor will only get a restaurant by for so long before the trends move on.

The place is also toddler friendly with a great kids menu, as my 3 year old devoured his Mickey pancakes! The food was delicious my family all ordered breakfast items, and devoured their food, they also are very flexible with any modifications, and had sourdough toast, which was delicious! The only knock I have was that the bacon was not the tastiest. I'm a sucker for a good buffalo chicken sandwich, so I also ordered one, and it was delicious, highly recommended it if you come for lunch or if you're not a breakfast person. The fries were also delicious and had a great crisp. Eggsquisite will definitely be part of the brunch/lunch rotation for me and my family going forward!

My wife thought the biscuits and gravy were tasty. I thought the traditional breakfast with apple sausage and cheesy grits was excellent. We will definitely try this place again in the future to try more menu options.

It's a sports bar and restaurant, and the World Cup was going on so it was a bit loud, but it was ok (although the kid complained, but she is at the age that she complains a lot). There is a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The menu has variety with sandwiches, flatbreads, a long list of apps, and other bar type food. We started with the queso and chips, which we thought would come out first. The queso could use some kick as it was very mild. The chips were excellent: light, crispy, and not at all greasy. The wife had a buffalo chicken flatbread and really liked it, she at it all. I had a chicken Philly and really enjoyed it. The chicken was thinly sliced and very tender. There were lots of different peppers and melted queso, so it was a very tasty, gooey, messy sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were crispy and excellent, very addictive. Our server, Addy, was pleasant and efficient. Prices are reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the kitchen sent the "starter" (queso and chips) out at the same time as the entrees, so we were faced with the dilemma which food to let get cold. It should not be that way. My understanding of "starter" is that it comes out before the main courses. Anyway, that was the only blip. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and enjoyed our dinner.
