Isaac was quick to respond and very polite on the phone. I asked him to come to a our new home inspect,clean the fireplace and clean the dryer vent. He showed up when scheduled. (Which is very nice). Then things started to go bad. He inspected the chimney and informed my wife that there had been a fire in the chimney and that it could not be used. He also told her that the gas going to the fireplace that had been capped was a serious danger and we should not sleep or be in the house due to possible leaks. He then cleaned the dryer duct work and said that it wasn't too dirty and he saw no problems. $150 for the inspection and $100 for the duct. I had a the gas company come out and inspect the gas line. They said there are no issues with leaks. I also had a separate inspector come out and check the chimney and gas. No gas leaks. No previous fire but, the chimney was extremely dirty and should not be used. After we installed our dryer and tried to run a load of laundry the dryer would not dry clothes and shut down after running for an hour. I went into the attic and tore the dryer vent duct work apart and found a giant wad of lint completely blocking the duct approximately 2 feet from the end. Once I got that blockage out and reassembled the duct everything worked great. I contacted Isaac and he assured me that he had cleaned the duct and he would come back out to the house to clean it again if I wanted. I said don't worry about it since I had already solved the problem. In summary I feel like Isaac wants to do a good job and has good intentions but I don't think his quality of work are up to the level they should be. We received a bad assessment of the chimney situation and an incomplete job on the duct work. read more

Highly recommend use of this vendor. He is extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable, and fair I contacted Isaac today to arrange a chimney sweep and he was able to come to my house within 20 minutes. He assessed the situation quickly and was able to determine that I did not yet require a chimney sweep since there was not enough build up of creosote. I did not know what creosote was being from an area that does not get cold. Isaac then, kindly and patiently, explained what it was, why it was not yet enough to require a sweep, and explain the chimney/fireplace in detail so that I could understand At the end, he noted that no charge was in order as he did not feel comfortable to charge for the check and education. We called Chimney Professionals after a home inspection indicated we needed to clean the fireplace and fix the damper. Isaac came to our house within a few days to clean and inspect the fireplace. There were parts incorrectly placed in the fireplace, and he explained what was wrong and a couple of options to fix it. He also checked the damper and found it was only incorrectly placed and was able to quickly fix it without an extra charge. Once he finished cleaning, he repainted all the pieces and made the fireplace look like new. He also took a lot of care to put padding down around the area and clean up any debris.
