Yea, maybe not my best choice of words when extolling and encouraging others to dine at a restaurant, got it! We have eaten China Express's very good takeout food over five different times and we have all enjoyed it each and every time. This is a Family restaurant which is welcoming and friendly. Their decor is done in Modern American Takeout. So you know, you've been there, done that. But who cares, you are picking up and taking out. All the dishes we have eaten are delicious, and what I enjoy the most is I can taste all the different savory flavors in their food instead as with some Asian Restaurants only being able to taste salt. A bunch of boxes in the corner from the neighboring liquor store. The chicken was just OK. They gave me pork fried rice (as opposed to white) which I don't love anyway so I won't speak to how it tasted because I'm not a fan so can't compare it to anything I would consider good. They had an interesting Philly Steak egg roll which seemed like a weird thing to have here in SC at a Chinese restaurant, but we tried it and it was also OK. Likely won't be back. Partly because we don't live locally, but we'll vacation here again and skip this place when we return.

NOT a date night for us, and I would not consider asking my wife. Small parking lot for this strip mall was filled upon our departure from lunch. Perhaps, a $15.00 lunch on Hilton Head is a good value -- Not for us. There is no Thai or Japanese on the lunch buffet. Zero ambience, and nearly zero service.... Lots of construction workers and a line of carry out. Lots of chicken, and it all "tasted" alike. Shrimp merits a shout out, and it soon disappeared from buffet. We do NOT recommend; just not up to our many, many Hilton Head experiences.
