While the prices have gone up which is a bit disappointing butthe quality and generous portions still make it worth it overall. You definitely get a lot of food, and it's satisfying every time. The service could use some improvement, as the staff isn't always the most pleasant and can make you feel a bit rushed. One thing we really wish they offered is side orders of vegetables or smaller portions of chow mein, which would be a great addition to the menu. Excellent quick Chinese restaurant. Reminds me of the Chinese restaurants in NY/NJ. Their wonton soup is comforting and flavorful. They have an egg drop soup (my favorite) and they add corn to it! Unusual but delicious. The food is consistent and always good. We've never had a problem with our orders (online and over the phone) and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I decided to do a quick dinner run and I went to China a Go Go not far from home. I didn't order ahead of time because I didn't want it sitting waiting for me. I was warmly greeted. I ordered hot garlic chicken which had one chili next to the description. I asked for it to be more spicy, The dish consists of sliced white meat chicken with carrots, mushrooms, diced bell pepper, and onion stir fried in a spicy Szechuan sauce. I also ordered egg rolls. I took a seat and within 5 minutes, the gentleman came around the counter and handed me a bag with my dinner. The egg rolls were standard. There was a normal size container with rice. I spooned the rice onto my plate and then added some of the chicken to the rice. The food was well prepared and there was extra red pepper added to make it spicier than normal. The container was a large serving. Half of the rice is in the refrigerator to use during the week. Packing was good. The container was so full that a bit of sauce from the chicken came out during transport and got on the napkin. We have been customers of china a go go in Charleston and desert foothills for years. Tonight was such a wonderful surprise. All their food was extra good and different. They must have hired a different cook? Their beef noodle stir fry was so good. Their shrimp with snow peas was extra good and fresh -thank God the shrimp is not dredged in flour no more! We also ordered their fried rice and orange chicken. It's good too. Chicken was crispy with the orange sauce. I hope china go go maintains this new awesome slight tweaks to their recipes. Very poor service and rudeness from the younger gentleman that's at the counter. We paid for our food than sat down, & once he saw that I hit "other" for tip service on the tablet he had the audacity to ask "it's for here right?" I responded yes and he gave me an ugly look. He did not ask us once if we're doing alright or anything, but a party of two walked in shortly after us and was asking them if they needed anything. Just shows the rudeness out of folks when they expect tip when there's no service being involved. This is AMERICA, not china. Don't get it twisted. Unfortunately I am writing this after a very disappointing take out . I ordered the Orange Chicken and combination fried rice . The Orange chicken was unedible . Hard and chewy is the best description. No flavor and frankly I am questioning the quality as well . 0/10 . The friend rice had 3 shrimp , cubes of chicken and very little pork an absolute fail . 0/10 . I have eaten at China A Go Go many times and this time around was just an absolute abomination. The place is completely rundown and will not be patronizing this restaurant again. If you live in West Summerlin the food choices are pretty scarce. We were tired from the week, didn't feel like cooking, and didn't make any dinner plans. This is how we found China A Gogo. This is in a shopping center with plenty of parking but for whatever reason it's always busy. They do have indoor seating but I had a hungry family to feed. I wasn't expecting much to be honest but I was surprised! I ordered several items, fried rice, general tsos chicken, noodles, honey shrimp, and my got a fried chicken dish. All the turns were made on the spot. It wasn't sitting around. I was really happy to see this compared to food sitting around like Panda Express. Fast, quick, and tasty chinese food. I was starving and called for takeout. They had it ready within 10 minutes for pickup. It was hot and fresh. Got the eggplant with tofu and sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork was delicious. Beautifully fried and the pork was tender. Loved the way it was packaged to go so the fried pork meat didn't get soggy. Rhe eggplant was wonderfully saucy, eggplsnt was tender but not soggy. The rice was perfect, it soaked the sauces up and it wasn't dry rice. Really nice jasmine rice. 3.5 Stars for the Charleston at Desert Foothills China A Gogo. This is a meal that I will never ever forget. It was the last meal that I ate as a free man. The day after my brother and I enjoyed our post-hiking lunch here, the Coronavirus 19 pandemic would shut down the non-essential businesses in Las Vegas and Nevada including dine-in restaurant service and the Las Vegas Strip. When we dined here on March 17, 2020 the Coronavirus 19 pandemic caused the neighboring Dunkin to resort to take-out and panicked shoppers in the Albertson's up the parking lot to buy out the toilet paper and buying out the paper towels by 9 o' clock in the morning. One of the nice things about this China A Gogo is that it is near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the Summerlin park system. Outdoor parks that I cherish. It was after hiking on the trail bridging Paseos and Fox Hills Park that we partook in the China A Gogo lunch special. I am no stranger to this restaurant. If I am not mistaken it used to be New China as recent as the last time I hiked in Red Rock Canyon. However, what I am a stranger to is our new way of life during the Coronavirus 19 pandemic. Here is an example of this life change: Sharing the window with the lunch menu was a sign saying that we wear masks. Inside the staff wore masks. Regardless of the safety precautions that the staff took and the clean appearance, my brother and I requested that they serve the food in take out plates. They politely obliged. For the ultimate time before the Coronavirus 19 pandemic shut down dine-in service, I ordered and paid for food at a counter that I would enjoy sitting at a table in a room with human beings. As expected, on this day it was not busy. At that moment of time in history when the words "social distancing" entered our vocabulary and culture, there were few patrons in the restaurant making it easy to keep the distance that would be the norm up to this writing and expectantly 27 days from now. Off the menu, I ordered the shrimp chop suey lunch special and a fountain beverage. It came out to around $10.50. Unlike the other China A Gogos that I have dined in, the egg drop soup was missing in action. However great taste was in action. I was satisfied with the shrimp chop suey, fried rice, and chow mein noodles that I topped off with hot sauce. I was equally satisfied with the generous portion. Writing this during the Coronavirus 19 pandemic non-essential business shut down I would be ultimately satisfied returning to a sit-down restaurant such as the Charleston at Desert Foothills China A Gogo enjoying a generous portion of good food at a fair price. read more

This was a great place for food after a nice day up at Red Rock Canyon and Spring Mountain Ranch. We didn't know that it was takeout only, but we ordered anyway and were out the door within 15 minutes. The food was ready so fast. The staff was nice and they definitely had great covid precautions in place. There was lots of food for the price, which is always great! I got the assorted appetizer and chicken broccoli with rice. The appetizer was pretty good, the only thing I would say is that the crab rangoons weren't filled enough. All I tasted was the dough because there was hardly any cream cheese or crab. No complaints with the food. Like another yelper 6 months before said, the cleanliness is definitely a concern. We got our order to go but sitting in the booth, they had dirty floors throughout the entire restaurant. I'd understand if it was good debris because people were sitting at that specific table but these were unoccupied tables, foot prints in the walkways that you could see were there for a while. Beware of takeout orders as the cheap styrofoam packaging will actually melt onto your food. When I explained this in person to the front entrance employee, his despicable response was "OK. I like the location near downtown Las Vegas better. The food smelled amazing, but it smelled better than it tasted. Definitely needed more flavor and the noodles were a bit dry. Shrimp was good, my fiancé says it's alright & they don't add much veggies to the plate like they do downtown. I did enjoy the carrot slices that was in there though! & the pricing is more expensive. Dinner B -- with won ton soup, shrimp fried rice, cashew chicken, and Kung pao shrimp. Started off with the soup. It is usually so fresh and the broth is amazing. This was so disgusting, I can't even believe they would sell this to me. This soup had to be at least a day or 2 old. The won ton was beyond mush, ZERO flavor in the broth and the veggies were old looking. We could not eat more than a couple of bites. I will probably get sick from this. We tried the other items and all were absolutely disgusting. Not even edible. It was so bad that I had to box everything back up and I went back to get a refund. They seemed shocked that I brought all the food back and asked for my money back. They looked at everything and did give me a refund. This place should be ashamed of themselves for serving food that I wouldn't even give to my dog. I am positive that I am not the only one that had issues with the food tonight.
