I really like this fast food place for Chinese, because it gives really big proportions for a reasonable price. I only ordered the chow mein because I was craving some fast food Chinese but it turned out really good. The portion size was enough for at least two meals, maybe 3 if I wasn't so addicted to eating it all. The cashier let me take my time deciding what I wanted to order, and it was really fast when they made it and came out piping hot and ready to eat. They have both dine-in and to go options. This spot was okay for me. I did like their chow mein noodles. Not a fan of their fried rice, it's very generic. The lemon chicken I ordered was surprisingly prepared like katsu chicken. Was taken back by it but the lemon dipping sauce was good. It's a very small spot so to eat inside will be tight especially if people are coming inside to place orders or picking up. I probably would have laughed in the past if someone had told me that China A Go Go has decent Chinese food, but it's true. Their dishes are quite good for a chain and some of their food items are almost as good as a dine-in restaurant. Someone, put me in my place and let me know if I'm trippin' hard and this dish isn't amazing, 'cuz it is a total unexpected dish loaded with shrimp, fish, snap peas and other veggies. For $16 it was a lot of food, which was awesome, enough to feed 3 of us and have left overs. Kids liked it, which is always a win. I had the misfortune of stopping at this specific China A Go Go right before it closed last night, and it was an awful experience. The girl who took my order was rude, and she seemed to have no interest in how I perceived the restaurant. She made very little eye contact; she tossed my change back onto the counter (four dollars); and she charged me for crispy noodles but never actually put them into my bag. On top of that, the shrimp in my shrimp fried rice was undercooked. I wanted to go back to complain, but the restaurant was closed by the time I got home. I like China A Go Go overall, but this particular restaurant sucks, and it's fairly obvious that they don't value their customers as much as other establishments. Save your money. read more

I like the food selection and the taste of the food is amazing! The only con is when (if you find a location that offers dine in) the food is prepared on a plastic plate. I understand the cost of paper plates but sometimes the plates are flimsy and it may cause spillage. I am sitting eating the LAST China-a-go-go takeout I wii EVER order. I have been ordering from these guys for over 5 years. Their takeout menus used to have coupons attached with NO expiration date. I have used the coupons as late as this past June and never encountered any problems using them. Tonight , I wanted to use the last coupon and they refused to honor it. The thing is when I went to pay, they AGAIN raised their prices. My bill was $11.00 more than it was in March for the same order. Over the years more Chinese restaurants have opened closer than China-a-go-go. I am happily taking my business elsewhere! Ate about 1/3 of each meal and threw the rest away! Moo Goo Chicken - had no taste, chicken pieces were too big. Chow mein also had no flavor. Mongolian Beef - little to no taste, a little spice (which is what I asked for), and the egg fried rice was okay, but how do you screw that up? General Tso's - very spicy, dry, not enough flavor. Pot Stickers - overcooked, tasteless. Egg Rolls - no taste, needed alot of sauce to make them edible. And, lastly, apparently they didn't get the memo: Everything is open 100%, no need for masks (which they require to enter) and chairs with signs blocking everything. Ridiculous. I went in person to order and only have google pay. They have their whole front blocked off so the gal had to take my phone from my hand and walk behind the counter to pay with google pay. I Live across the street from this restaurant and I really tried to like this place because of the convenience. However, after giving them 3 chances, I simply cannot honestly recommend this restaurant to anybody... The food is very badly cooked with way too much oil and salt, and what prompted me to post this review is the fact that I absolutely believe that my order today was microwaved - it was really hot on the outside but not even warm beneath the top layer. There is no way they freshly cooked it - for the high price that they are charging, around 15 per dish, this is shameful. 3.5 stars. It's your typical fast food Chinese American restaurant. I really wanted noodles and China a Go Go was the closest restaurant to me at the time. I saw pictures of some noodles on here from another Yelper and I wanted it. We went in and ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. My daughter loves noodles so it was a win win for both of us. It was almost 7 bucks for this entree but me and my tot were both full after eating it. It wasn't too greasy or salty and the noodles were al dente. I've been back quite often for the noodles because I love carbs. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food this isn't the place to go. Sometimes the staff is hard to understand as they don't speak very good English but they understand enough for you to order.
