We haven't visited this place in a while for a reason. We had a very disappointing visit few months back and yesterday wasn't any different. My cousin and his wife are visiting from Venzuela and he said he wanted chinese for dinner so we decided on visiting China Buffet hoping things have changed for the better a little bit but that wasn't the case. The hot food wasn't hot not even the soup. The fried food was super oily and the fresh grill had empty trays and when I asked the guy behind the counter what's going on he shrug his shoulders and it took them forever to have something on the trays and by that time we lost our appetite. A lot of trays were empty and employees were walking around doing nothing about it and the place wasn't that busy. The waitress took forever to take the plates off our table and give us some extra napkins. The dinner price isn't cheap and our bill was definitely not worth the food that we received. It was a huge mistake to bring guests to this place and we will not be visiting anytime soon. Service and food have to improve for us to visit again and we will keep an eye on yelp for that. read more

I was in the mood for Chinese buffet this past weekend and finally paid this place a visit. Let me just say first that my expectations weren't high. You know how sometimes you just want something, maybe something fast with no frills. You aren't looking for a 5 star meal and the thought that having unlimited food is actually a luxury to have...when some people can't get enough. Well I was kinda feeling that way. Maybe they could have come up with a name that's slightly more interesting. Like maybe Phoenix Dragon, or Golden Jade...anything. I try to scoop things that I think will taste somewhat good...liked the grilled teriyaki chicken. It was dark meat which I like and pretty tasty. I also thought the mussels with creamy sauce weren't bad. The chicken with zucchini and mushrooms looked safe and satisfied. They had some steamed fish which went quickly. I was lucky to get some and it ended up being the best thing on my plate. Next time I will skip the sushi rolls. They were wastefully filling to my stomach. The sugary doughnut balls were a highlight. Sure, I don't mind going back. read more

Only if you want to eat and do not caring about taste! Parking here is a mess specifically because the spaces are marked with single white line and it's very tight. This place seems to follow the exact same formula for "Chinese Buffet" style dining. FRIED EVERYTHING and EITHER SALTY or BLAND. Some of the items like the seafood mix looks and taste like it was from yesterday which is fine if I am at home eating but can be annoying for picky eaters. One dish from yesterday can be recycled into 5 new dishes for today. Creativity points certainly but this still is recycling the menu items. Service is friendly and attentive but when it gets busy on the weekends exercise great patience with the servers because they are overwhelmed with the customers.......foot massage place next door if your dining experience was not good. read more

Let me start by saying that this Buffet has changed a lot. There were times when this buffet was not so great. We've had many family get-togethers over the years and I'm sure that there have been plenty of different owners or managers. But my experience today seemed a little bit different. I felt like I was in a different restaurant; as if I had never been there before. The food selection was amazing. Considering that it was dinner time, there was a lot of seafood. But overall the quality has improved. As I was taking pictures...I happened to speak with the owner or the manager and I applauded her and the team for what they have done to assure the quality of taste and exceptional customer service. My favorite dish was the steak. Do not miss that. It's by the sushi area. I can't wait to revisit this buffet again. read more

Been coming here ever since i was a child, from countless of birthday parties, baby showers, You always find your way back to china buffet. China buffet has been a staple in the south bay for over 10 years. You get everything you find at a standard buffet, but the difference is quality, the food taste distinctive and fresh because of their turn over rate. They are constantly putting out new food. 16.99 for lunch, you have a full buffet with sushi bar and dessert. Even a mcdonald fast food meal cost 15$... Weekend are busy especially sundays so come early! read more

I came here the other night for the first time for dinner. This place is fairly big with many sittings. Their food selection was ok but the time it took for them to replenish was a bit slow. I had to ask them twice before they could replenish the crab leg. One thing I love about them is the freshness of their crab leg, I mean for the price you are paying, you cant go wrong with this place. Man, China Buffet was on point this week! They have so many great options. The sushi was my go-to since I hadn't had it in a while. If you're hungry during lunch, I'd definitely recommend this place. With how crazy inflation has gotten, you can't beat the value here, 16.99 for an all you can eat buffet that has beef shrimp, chicken, fish and a sushi bar. Our family has eaten here a few times. Food is good for the price you pay per person. Lots of seafood and great variety. My husband and I enjoy it but our kids prefer other buffets than this one. wanted chinese food so we went to china buffet, Lots of food choices and everything looked fresh.Large assortment of pastries ,salad bar and sushi rolls. Quality of food was great ,price was great they even have a senior discount.We will go back again.They even have a banquet room for large groups and parties. read more

My husband I go there when ever we feel like eating a big meal. They have a variety of food to choose. The dining area is clean and tidy. We don't miss the deserts as there are few flavors of ice cream to choose. We love green tea ice cream and this is the only place we can find them. It is worth the price. read more

Do not come here for lunch ! Came in at 1 30 am right when they opened, they barely carry anything. Their lunch food is reheated from the night before. I know this because I saw one of the waitresses remove the foil wrap from one of the trays OUTSIDE in the buffet display for all the customers to see. WOW read more

Great food- Sizzler for Chinese food! If u love pudding- they have five flavors! No sugar free but I would double check. Great service and plenty of space and seating. Probably the best Chinese buffet in the South bay area, ( I should say the best Chinese buffet in the L.A. Area.) Love their fried wonton and orange chicken. Usually come here for lunch with my coworkers. $8.99 for lunch can't go wrong. read more
