China Buffet has NOT closed! I've been here four times in the last 12 months. I ate here tonight and totally enjoyed the full buffet. All the same staff are working here as ever. Chicken, beef, pork, clams,mussels, shrimp, and vegetables galore--every food group is represented! The hot and sour soup is loaded with mushrooms, tofu onions, and hints of lemon grass--it's more of a stew than a soup-- I loved it! Tonight the crispy fried shrimp was a highlight! I wish I knew how to create that taste of the ocean that hangs on my palate when I bite into those shrimp. See the new pics! I am very disappointed in how much this food sucked , me and my family went here for my gardfathers birthday, food was cold, and very unpleasant. It was very uncomfortable hot , no ac and the atmosphere was strange it feels like your being watched by the workers. never ONCE did anyone ask if out drinks needed to be refilled. It was so hot the ice melted in our drinks and wateredthem down.. 0/10 would not recommend to ANYONE. Also the jello didnt even taste like jello. It was Valentine's Day, and there were 4 of us (two couples) set on having dinner together. Every place we had gone to had a wait list and we were all really hungry. We decided to try a buffet style restaurant and ended up having a great night. We were seated right away and had our drinks served quickly. The service was prompt. We were able to grab plates and try out the different options of dishes they had. We all ended up finding several things to eat that we liked. The prices were pretty standard for a buffet as well. I dock two stars for noticing some glass near our booth that wasn't clean, a couple of dirty plates set out with clean plates, and some of the dishes I wanted to try on the buffet were emptied out and not refilled. I do like the policy they post of wearing a mask while you are self serving at the buffet... The self serve ice cream was a hit with our group too. read more

The food was not really great. Don't believe the website pricing and check the check before you pay it!!! The website showed Saturday pricing at 13.99 for adults and 2.49 per child plus .70 per year after 2. They changed the price to $14.99 per adult and refused to tell us how the kid pricing went. I let the $14.99 go because it was written on the chalkboard at the front, but apparently math isn't a thing as they said 14.99 for 3 adults was $48.80 instead of $44.97. They don't believe calculators. We tried! The kids wound up being $12.90 for an 11 year old and $9.00 for a 7 year old. Will not be going back as they're trying to scam people. read more

Let me not even go with the reviews that discuss all and everything but the minimal selections, quality of food and so forth makes this place not meet any standards of a true china Buffett. This Chinese buffet is a horrible place. I do not recommend because there are people trading money in the background they watch you eat, and there is someone in a vest without a shirt on with a bloody nose they are not properly dressed, and it is a disgusting place they do not clean the bathrooms I found rat poop on my food. I also found an armpit hair on my food. My poor baby choked on a giant armpit hair. The customer service is actually horrible. Was just here for dinner and women's bathroom had water spilled on floor and my daughter fell and hurt her knee. First they tried to blame her for wearing flip flops. They didn't even want to give her ice pack. Had to ask 3 times for it. The moment my family entered the place, she told us we cannot eat inside, to go only....well hello...my family knows how to read- there was a note on entry door. She did not even greet us and you can see on her eyes she was very unfriendly. Then we got styrofoam boxes and look for foods. We decided not to get food because they look all trash. She saw us started to fold boxes, to throw and were about to leave, then she walked from her register table towards me pointing at the styrofoam boxes while saying "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BOXES EVEN NO FOOD" !!! well okay, fine, no big deal but she should tell it on a nice way. My wife and I just moved to Wenatchee from the Portland/Vancouver area. We were spoiled with all sorts of top notch Asian restaurants in that area... But we also love a good and cheap Chinese buffet. Obviously in Wenatchee, there aren't a ton of Asian places in the area. That being said, we lowered our expectations a bit. This place gets 3 stars solely for the cleanliness of the place, the price, and the polite hostess. The food was ok, but not a ton of variation. They mostly had chicken dishes, and they all looked/tasted the same. A few fried items, and desserts... It wasn't the cheap Chinese oasis we had hoped for. It it were up to me, I would charge $1.50 more person, have fewer buffet options, and just make the remaining options better. Maybe add an ice cream dispenser:) read more

Ok, so I work construction and literally eat out every night. I generally like Chinese buffets (most any buffet really) and have eaten here maybe 12 times in the last few months, it's on my weekly schedule of dinner places to feed at. This place IS the best Chinese Buffet type place in all of central Washington. Trust me, I've eaten at all of them, and will not go back to most. 90% of the time the dishes are not hours and "days" old like many other places. They have enough turn over and there is constantly a person surveying and preening the food bars. I will say, because I read another reviews about this plaindicating such... their menu does shift from day to day. I think during the week they run mostly cheaper chicken, etc related dishes and they have two of five food bars turned off, but on Friday and the weekend there are many shrimp and other fish dishes offered. Call them for specifics... Bottom line, you're not going to find a better Chinese Buffet type place than here for many hours of driving. If your a food snob... I don't know what to tell you... take your fickle ass back to Seattle, your in central Washington here... But, if your in the mood for this "type" of food then I suggest giving them a whirl, it's WAY better than the same places in other areas around. They're averagely priced and they have hard ice cream in the corner, self serve. Cheers. Update: July 2018 Eating here again. When in Wenatchee and you want a cheap meal that will get you full, go to China Buffet!!! I think I paid like $9 and I definitely ate my share. The food is fresh, and the staff is always watching to refill items. The buffet has all the usual suspects, fried things in sweet sauce, veggies and meat, fried rice, noodles, but the key here is that everything is fresh. Service was great and the place was clean. Great value and selection for the price. Staff was not overly friendly, but I do not go out to a restaurant to be fawned over, I go to eat. I was passing through town and had not eaten all day and found this place. I usually only get a few things when i go to these types of buffets, and they had most of my staples. Stringbeans in garlic sauce, pepper chicken, fried rice, chicken skewers... they even had shrimp and crawfish if thats your bag. The service was pretty friendly and fast, only a small language barrier. Price was good, for a friday night buffet at $13 you could do much worse. read more

The only thing I would suggest staying away from is the fish filet that they have... not that good. I have now eaten here thre different times and have to say that each dish us very well prepared, has distinticly different flavors, and is hot, and more importantly, fresh!!! Our family was passing through Wenatchee last weekend and we decided to stop for dinner. Not only they had a very poor selection of food, but a lot of trays were empty and never refilled while there still was 1.5 hours until closing. No sushi and no seafood, besides shrimp.
