$19.00 plate of noodles and veggies.
    Scott J.

Went here for the first time. The ambience was nice and the restaurant was clean. Service was great and attentive. Food however, lacked. First it was $16.99 a pound. Now not a bad price for decent food but the items were very basic. Veggies were the cheapest ones you can get. Cabbage, carrots, green onions, canned pineapple, canned baby corn and squash. The meat was typical like you see at mall style food court places like this oddly no shrimp. The noodles were tough and bland. I was excited to see the variety of sauces but none were that great watered down for the most part flavorless. In fact the wait staff told us the basic stir fry sauce tastes like water they were right! The cooks were nice but he accidentally put chili oil on mine which he caught and I told him it was fine. In the end it was my first experience and most likely my last. I just don't see the value in this when there are so many other options at the same price or cheaper on the Avenue. With drinks and tip our bill was $95.00 for three people.

Second time here and I am confident I will probably return again as this is good, but expensive tasty stuff! At the buffet there are frozen slices of chicken, beef and pork, a wide selection of fresh veggies and noodles, but do note that there are no jalapenos to spice things up! At the grill there are oodles of flavoring sauces, but none, (this is a major negative at a Mongolian grill) with any heat content to heap into a separate bowl. Something I wasn't aware of until this visit is, the grillmaster weighs your meat and veggie bowl's content and you pay for the total weight (minus the tare weight) regardless of what is in it. The flavoring sauce bowl is added while cooking and is not weighed as part of your meal content. In the future I will probably pick more meat and fresh veggies and less noodles! White or brown rice is included if you ever see your server and the Pepsi product drinks are bottomless. Clean, spacious and can be considered a healthier option compared to fast food! Though much more expensive. Next visit here I will order water as that diet Pepsi was $3.00 and I wasn't offered a refill or the included bowl of rice until I was finished with my meal. Other than asking for my drink order, my "server" was non-existent until the bill is presented towards the end of the meal. The bill has printed on the bottom, suggested tip amounts based on your total. I find that tacky when it is a buffet and the grill masters have their tip jars out also! This would have been a 4 star visit if the server had visited my table at least once during my meal and offered me my rice and topped off the drink. Just saying, if you come here for the food, not the service, you won't be disappointed!

The final product was very oily. It wasn't the worst Mongolian grill I've ever had but it was definitely not the best.

$20 for a bowl of stir fry? No big signs warning us it's weighed at $10.90 per pound until AFTER we get our food. Rip off.

Unfortunately, I was on a work trip, but I could imagine this being the first stop then walking off the food. It is on the smaller side of restaurants, but the evening I visited, there was a party of 8 seated towards the back. I'd recommend parties of 2-4 max, but they can accommodate more if it's a slower night. The service was good, nothing over the top, but nothing below average. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and sat at one of the high tops. This high top was on the smaller side, but since I was just a party of one, it was reasonable and I another high top right next to me to use as well. The food came out pretty quickly, which was nice and they were easy to reach if I needed anything. Very welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the crab Rangoon, crispy chicken Thai basil, and a Thai Iced coffee. The server recommended the crab Rangoon when I asked her which she would choose between the shrimp rolls, spicy crispy chicken wings, or the crab Rangoon. They were solid, nothing crazy, but good. The crispy chicken Thai basil was decent as well; again nothing over the top, but the right portion with some heart shaped rice to go with it. In my opinion, it could use a little more spice. I went with the medium, but it was definitely not spicy at all, so I requested the spice tray to fix that. The Thai iced coffee was exactly what I would want it to taste like. Yes, I would recommend this place. Keep the party smaller. I'll have to try another dish on my next trip out here.

I remember when her two sons took over the business, and I was delighted this August when "mama" visited on a Friday evening and sat down with me, and we reminisced together. I brought my adult son and we once again enjoyed some old favorites: Curried Beef, Combo Fried Rice, Phō, Mushroom Chicken and Salad. The signature attraction of Cuc Tran is their time-honored authenticity. Whether you eat in or take out, you can depend on the always hot and full-flavored profiles of every entrée. I know this sounds like an advertisement, but I have to give credit where it's due--every dish tastes exactly the same as every other time I've ordered it. The consistency is what keeps me coming back. This café is hidden at the rear of the entryway--you have to penetrate the storefront to find it. The locals know it well, but if you're new in town, you'll have to search the address. Once inside, you'll find adequate booth seating with large table surface areas and sauce racks with menus ready... (see pics) ...and if you're lucky, you'll meet "mama"!

The pot stickers are not made in house, as Won Tons usually are, they are a food service product, boiled in chicken stock with other vegetable trimmings added. My soup was scalding hot--had to rest 10 minutes before it was palatable. There was no evidence of salt and pepper in the soup and none on the table. (It's interesting to note that Wok n Roll is a franchise that touts "quick-cooked" fast foods--quick cooking Won Ton Soup is exactly what was wrong with mine!--should be steeped over time.) Other than that, they forgot the diced green onion which is fundamental to Won Ton Soup. Wok n Roll boasts 20+ stores over five countries (principally Caribbean Islands). Their Madison Avenue advertising promotes a big image, but this Wenatchee store is clearly a low budget operation. The furniture is very uncomfortable-- wooden seats on metal frames, and a cost-cutting approach to food preparation and presentation. If they're doing something right, it wasn't evident on this trip.
