I'm not one to give horrible reviews.. I always try to find something good about a place but this was absolutely the worst Chinese food my dad and I have ever had. The General Tso tasted like old barbecue sauce. The rice was super chewy and tasted like it was from the day before. The crab rangoons' filling was awful. It was solid. The food is great... the service not so much. The menu clearly identifies that a lunch special comes with an egg roll. I did not receive one. When I called to let them know (assuming I could just pick it up the next time) I got a rude attitude. I was repeatedly told that a lunch special doesn't come with an egg roll (even though it is listed on the menu that way) only a combo does. I then spoke to the manager to say, if it doesn't come with one, you may want to change the online menu. She continued to argue that it wasn't included. I asked her to pull up THEIR menu online (after reading it to her verbatim three times).. while it says it, they don't include it... Nothing like false advertising and refusing to fix it! Ate at this restaurant on a Friday evening. The food seemed okay. Later on though both my wife and I each got a case of the endless shits and even the occasional barf. Somehow getting two days of shittzels doesn't sound that fun and you can bet your dry bottom we will not be returning for an encore. Started going here a year or so ago after the East-Wind restaurant changes owners. The food started out great in comparison but I noticed the last few times the food has become very bland. I've been a customer for 8 years, each and every take out meal I ordered over the years has been excellent and always accurate, the buffet is very good too. This place is good but very expensive, if you are looking forward to spend most of the night on the toilet, this is the place to go. The service when I was there was very slow. But the food was excellent. Their orange chicken is good and comes in a huge box for around $9. Their rice is so great at comes in a huge box for around $3 I think. Used to go there fairly frequently but haven't in awhile because there are other places that are closer. I was surprised in the change in the food. Used to be their Egg Fu Yung was very good. Today it was very bland, and the gravy was really greasy. If you've ever made this dish you know the gravy is made of just chicken broth thickened with corn starch with some soy sauce added. I don't know what fell in there to make it so greasy, but it was horribly oily. And the pancakes were, like I said, extremely bland and tasted totally unseasoned. ALSO... Their Won Ton Soup had been for years the best around... Not so today. The soup was disgustingly greasy, and the meat in the won ton filling was terribly salty. I saw the cook... He's the same one I always saw there, so I don't know what he's doing now to make the food so lousy. I tried small helpings of a couple other dishes on their buffet and found nothing that was enjoyable... especially the lousy tough egg rolls that were filled with plain cabbage, no seasonings. If they keep this up, they'll soon be out of business. What a disappointment, especially after doing so well previously. read more

Moved from Saginaw to Porland Oregon which is a very diverse place in the culinary industry. But I have to say nothing beats china cities crab cheese and sesame chicken. Look forward to eating here again! read more
