The service is always good, they're pretty quick even when they have a line. The building is small but the wait isn't bad at all and for such a great price of about $10 for a plate, I love that. Each time my wait has always been under 5-10 minutes even if they say it'll take longer when they have make fresh batch of something. The parking lot is very annoying during lunch time but the service here makes up for that a lot! The workers are attentive, respectful, and kind. The chicken that was inside was not the most palatable texture. The tofu eggplant was better. The eggplant had a nice garlic flavor but the tofu was not flavorful. I ordered off Beyond Menu so I can't say much besides how I liked the food. Well if I'm being honest, it's bland. The shrimp chow mein tasted like strat buttered noodles and I kid you not, it had 3 1/2 shrimp in it. Like wtf. I dumped the entire container out because I wanted to be sure and I was dumbfounded. Either their version of Kung Pao Chicken is only green bell peppers and chicken or we got the complete wrong order. The fried rice also bland and flavorless. Boneless spare ribs leave a funny taste in your mouth which really pissed me off because that's literally all I wanted from this order, super bummed out about that. Egg rolls are giving spring rolls. Excellent! All the reviews that talked about the portion sizes were spot on! Good selection and very tasty for the 3 piece combo and egg rolls. Also received a complimentary soup for getting the 3 piece which was also tasty and good. Now comes the purpose of trying China Express the spareribs. Awesome,v they do not disappoint. I have had Chinese food and the spareribs in particular in about a dozen states and I would rank theirs right up there with the best. The food is delicious. I always go for the 3 entree 1 side special. They give excellent portions. But I'm suspicious of one thing. When I pay by card, they only wanted my signature. They didn't want me to fill out the tip portion of my receipt. I suspect they want to decide their own tip behind my back, which I find possibly illegal. Continuing my west coast search for good east coast Chinese food and this place is not it. Ordered through DoorDash...because COVID. We got the sesame chicken, pork fried rice, orange chicken combo with chow mein and 2 orders of egg rolls. I don't like leaving one reviews but honestly the food was terrible, edible but terrible. The sesame chicken and orange chicken tasted the same, zero flavor just sweet sauce. In fact the only way I could different the two was the sesame seeds. The chow mein looks like straight spaghetti with no veggies or flavor. The fried rice was "ok" dry but unlike some of the restaurants here it at least looked like pork fried rice. The most awful part was the egg rolls. They went in the trash. It's not even an egg roll. It's like a cross between an egg roll and a spring roll. But the inside is sparse and the wrapping was thick and chewy (not in a good way either) Anyways, it is pretty cheap so if you're broke there's that!
