One of my favorite pho restaurants in San Diego, this place has been a staple for many, many years. Known for their variety of menu items, literally the menu is never ending. Everything here is delish. I only took pics from my recent trip but I highly recommend the pho (of course), eggrolls, rare beef salad, boneless crispy duck, fried pork ribs, grilled pork vermicelli, and all of their rice dishes. NEVER COME TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL FOR FOOD POISONING. DO NOT EAT HERE! My family had a very serious experience after eating fried rice from this restaurant at 9PM on 6/3 and ended up with symptoms consistent with food poisoning, including NAUSEOUS, VOMITING WITH BLOOD that required hospital care on 6/4. This was not a minor issue. When I called to report what happened, the staff hung up on me without any apology, concern, or attempt to resolve the situation. I was also told in a dismissive way to "report it" if I wanted to. The lack of accountability and the way this was handled is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Food safety and customer service should not be treated this way. I strongly advise others to think twice before eating here. I will give negative star if I can. read more

This place has been open for 29 years and is considered a fixture in the community so it made sense to check it out. After a few awkward moments watching everyone in the place, we decided to find a clean table to sit at. We eventually got menus and boy, there was so many food options-7 pages!!! The vegetables were so fresh and I enjoyed cooking the beef on the hot pot. The beef porridge was good too, but by the time we got it, I was so full. My family & I have been coming to eat here since I was a little girl. The inside is spacious & it has a a lot of natural lighting from all the windows around the restaurant. It is always clean & well kept. When we walked in yesterday, they weren't busy as other times so we got seated right away. The server gave us the menu & water right away. My dad ordered the family combo for $60 which was perfect for our family of 4. Every dish has a nice savory taste which all goes really well together. We like to put some of the juices in the fish pot into our rice which gives the rice a nice salty spicy taste. The server was also consistent with filling our cups with water. At the end we did take some leftovers to go which is good to eat the next day with some white rice at home. This is a great restaurant to go to on a casual weekday dinner or a big family occasion.
