This place is exactly what I'm looking for when I think of a Chinese buffet. Very affordable ($13 for lunch), majority of the food was quite tasty, and it was clean overall. Service was great, they picked up empty plates from the table quickly and always made sure my water was filled. Would 100% come back. I loved the hibachi grill for fresh hot food, i kept coming back for more hot fresh lo mein! I also saw that as soon as an item was missing not too long after was it stocked up again. I find most buffets do cheese puffs terribly, but this one was solid, obsessed with their fried donut, really liked the rolls, black pepper chicken, chicken on a stick, green beans, garlic butter shrimp, and I could go on but I think yall get the point. Decided to try this place out for lunch since we were in Pasadena. Friendly servers, clean and casual establishment, clean bathroom, food was ok. Good variety of everything. I liked the fact that they have crawfish on the buffet for lunch unlike others that have it only after 4 pm. A plus for me. They don't have the powdered hot salt unless you ask for it and they give you about an ounce at a time. The food was kept rotated for the most part and hot. Some things did seem dry though. I tried a little bit of everything. While we were there, nobody used the hibachi grill. The wonton soup was actually good except the noodle seemed like it wasn't cooked all the way. The Chinese noodles were good. They did have some sushi. The crawfish came with potatoes and corn but the corn seemed like it was yesterday's leftover corn, JMO... the sweet tea was on point. They don't have a seniors discount and we paid almost $34 for 2 of us with tea. Lots of space, lots of parking available in a shopping strip. I wouldn't make a special trip just to eat there but it's ok. read more

China Fu Buffet in Pasadena, Texas is our favorite Chinese/Asian food buffet of all time. The food is outstanding, which most people would think is surprising for a Chinese buffet. The chefs are truly exceptional, and are so great at what they do, preparing food that you would expect to find at a very expensive, high-quality restaurant, but available here at an excellent, reasonable, low price. The service (wait-staff, host/hostess, etc.) is also of the highest quality. (And we tip accordingly to show our appreciation.) Their buffet has most traditional Chinese food items you would imagine seeing at most Chinese buffets, and there you will also find some wonderful, unusual items, some of which are unique to this restaurant. Seafood lovers will really love China Fu Buffet, since there is lots of great seafood on the buffet (prepared in many different ways), including many different kinds of shrimp, and fish and various shellfish. And their buffet also often has soft-shell crab on it, which is delicious. There is also an outstanding sushi bar on their buffet (best we have ever had anywhere, including on my trip to Japan), and also plenty of very good non-Asian foods (in case you're eating there with a group of friends and have a friend in the group that doesn't really like Chinese food), and plenty of items on the buffet that would make small children happy. In addition to the more traditional Chinese entrees and dishes, there are also plenty of great fried foods there, including shrimp, fish, chicken nuggets, and much more. They also have wonderful eggrolls and spring rolls. And delicious soups (my wife loves the egg-drop soup there.) And their stuffed jalepeno peppers (stuffed with crab meat stuffing) are absolutely wonderful, something my wife and I always have to have each time we eat there, no matter what all else we get to eat for that meal. There is enough variety on the buffet so that you could eat there every day and never get tired of eating there, if you wish to have some variety in your meals. You don't have to eat the same thing every time that you go there, although you will likely find some favorites that you personally feel like you want at least a little bit of every time you visit this restaurant. China Fu Buffett also has delicious fried rice, and also just regular, steamed white rice, and all kinds of delicious vegetables and vegetable dishes to choose from. At most Chinese buffets, the deserts are usually unremarkable and okay at best. BUT, at China Fu Buffet, the deserts are outstanding, and there is a pretty large selection of deserts there to choose from, along with fresh fruits and even ice cream. We normally don't eat a lot of deserts, even when we eat out. But the deserts are China Fu are so good that we always have to get at least a little bit of them to finish off our meal. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is very nice and relaxing, especially if you are sipping on some of their excellent iced tea and having a nice, relaxing meal. This restaurant is located in a strip mall, and it is a much bigger restaurant on the inside than you would expect it to be looking at it from the outside. So there is plenty of room for people to eat there, even during heavy traffic periods, such as the lunch hour. And, there is plenty of staff available that can handle those high-traffic times with no problem. China Fu Buffet is certainly the best Chinese/Asian food restaurant that we have ever eaten at, and one of the best restaurants of any kind, period. We highly recommend eating there. read more

This place is decent for the price. The food is mostly fresh even though they don't have a lot of customers yet. It's a good place for a large group; we came here after my son's 1st Communion Mass. My only complaints are that it was super hot in the restaurant; I think the AC wasn't working. Also, they should get a telephone person who is more fluent in English. I called to ask if they take reservations, and then they asked me for my name as if I were checking on a reservation. I asked again if they take reservations, and they said "No" multiple times. But then I asked them once more and they said "Yes" and took my reservation for 21 people. But when we got to the restaurant, they only had my reservation for 14. They should also consider having special pricing for seniors and older kids. My daughter is 11 and doesn't eat much but has to pay the full adult price. read more

The place was very clean, the servers were friendly. Our waitress was great checked on us a good amount of times. There was a grand variety of food, fried and baked. I loved the veggie incorporation, crab and shrimp. Everything had a great flavor! Will definitely return! read more

Loved the selection of food they offered. I also liked that they offered different options than most Chinese buffet in the area. Staff was kind and attentive which made the experience even better. My favorite out of the various options they offered was the fried season shirmp, pork and mushrooms, soy sauce noodles, green beans, chicken skrew, and their sesame seed balls. They had a lot options I didn't get to try but will next time around. read more

Good food no discounts for seniors high prices sometimes a freshness issue so look first

Food was tasty just cold and price was a little high for the quality of it but if it was hot it be better

The food was 7/10, the exciting part of the restaurant was the raffle. A lot of people won free stuff sadly I did't. The service was quite mixed alot of the worker was great but their was a customer that fought with a waiter i'm pretty sure it was the customer trying to run out without paying though. The restaurant itself was great I did give it a 8/10. Do recommend this place read more
